HKS Hi-Power & TRUST Power Extreme II Exhausts
jeffworld2 replied to Just Jap Racing's topic in For Sale (Business Traders)
yes please guys. can i pick up a trust exhaust tomorow morning for r33? -
how exactly? it would be the same as running no bov, it will not make a sound (will flutter through pod, but no woosh) and cannot cause any issues other than perhaps overfuelling on gear changes as air flutters out through the afm instead of being recirculated. only when the valve is opened to atmo will you get a woosh. i had an hks ssqv on my 33 since it was delivered from japan, never had a stalling issue. its all about setup and the spring strength. i have since run without bov at all for a week and now run stock BOV from an R34GTT, but its the same part really as stock 33. if you don't understand what i was trying to explain in that post, don't reply, or if you do reply like XIZOR did

its stock ecu, thats the problem markimark. i was just coivering all bases
-
yea rob thats the type you can switch i was saying for the extra one
-
it only flutters if you lift off to make it flutter in that situation, used to do it in my hks one, a light lift off and reapplication on the freeway and chuchuchu.. a normal gearchange and tss. a flutter occurs when the pressure let off is not enough to pop the spring in the bov, so air chugs through the compressor

your car should not be burning off plugs, either they are the wrong heat range by a long shot or you are getting detonation from too much timing advance. with splitfires you should be able to run a gap anywhere from 0.8-1.1mm without much trouble, with ngk heat range 5/6. try putting in a set of BKR6EYA spark plugs, a whole set will put you back about $16. put them in and check the timing, if it still burns off, you need a tune, as your a/f is not in tune with the ignition advance. what ecu have you got? if your running a 2.6 now, it wont be fuelling it enough on the stock ecu. you can't run a bigger engine from a smaller ecu

lol there is a diy/tutorial on how to tighten the stock bov. you put a screw in one of the holes, but i never really looked into it. if you want it to go off tighter, thats exactly what you have to do; tighten it up. if all the air goes through quicker it will have to be more forceful and louder i guess. Gtr ones do fit, but they may not be much different. i'm running a BOV from an r34, but my airbox is damped so i dont get much noise (plus exhaust is too loud)

keep he stocko on, and put a deceptor pro in the front drivers side intercooler piping, down in the wheel well. that way you can turn it on and pssssht away and off and the noise is gone. i have a blanking plate for the stock bov, or you could leave it stock if you can set the deceptor spring low enough i guess instead of having the a/m one switch to plumb-back or atmo, totally block the polumback one and you will have no issues. if you want flutters, just put a blanking plate on the stocker your pod will do the rest. changing pods will change your stock bov noise dramatically

mines been off since the 3rd

i dealt with henzie regarding a front bar, hes alright. your suspension is in transit somewhere, at either end its with the posties. start praying. look up if there is another suburb with similar spelling to yours. my front dump went out near dubbo first before coming back to syd to another gfield once got a christmas card after easter, but mostly the post has been good to me. just be patient and keep calling

the government is a bit hypocritical on this issue... can you somehow point out to everyone that passenger restrictions mean more p plater cars if they are going out as a group, makes it harder to get enough designated drivers for the hallowed drink driving situation, and will only result in more p platers driving without p's, which is against the point of p plates. p platers are inexperienced drivers, p plates tell other drivers that. thats it. *rant 1 no- too harsh 2 no 3 yes 4 no 5 no 7 yes- i did when on p's and rarely hit 110 now,, gears too short 8 no- biggest influence on me was actually studying for the full license test. they should make you do that earlier, but when your still old enough for it to mean something 9 even 10 no 11 yes- you can tell within 1 minute of driving wether they are a good driver, regardless of license 12 FULL 13 male

have you even changed the afm setting> you said you had a z32. all of this IS in the faq, read the whole thing and start again.

F.s Wrecking R33 Gtst Series 2 1997 Model
jeffworld2 replied to sav's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
hi was after the plastic for the front wheel arches, that goes behind the stock intercooler and the other side stopping the air and everything, think they are called inner guards? let me know if you have those if you figure out what i mean lol -
i dont thin you have a high flow, if you had a highflow running 10psi your stock ecu would shit itself and you would be back to 128 or worse. 200kw is about right, its not really a number that means anything after all, actual figure could be + or - 50 but who cares, whatever that figure really is, you just doubled it. the increase is the only figure you can take from a dyno other than air/fuel ratio. congratulations on finding the problems and having a car in top shape i hope mine does that one day

Gb: R33 Gts-t And Gtr And R34 Gtt Radiator Guides
jeffworld2 replied to Bass Junky's topic in Group Buys
hey bass, still waiting for a response, whats the go? -
perhaps someone could donate a pfc from a car with similar mods and a richish tune, see what happens. i wouldnt try it for too long though with the wrong ecu thats just asking for trouble. it need only be a 5 minute swap. If it works its your ecu, if not, its a sensor or boost problem. really does sound like management, but management does some funny things with the wrong sensor readings so it may not be the ecu. thats all i got guys sorry. Maybe MANWHORE can help nytsky out your both in syd

i had heard that the silent power wasn't actually that silent? do you think it is a legal type sound level or just quieter than others out there

press the recirculate button when a/c is off. fixed. are you going off the stock temp gauge or one with deg? if so, what temp does it get up to? anyone know what the safe temp range is ? mine sits anywhere from 80-95 depending on driving
