cheers guys! well i just replaced the exhaust, just put on a standard cat and changed it to 2.5 inch piping from the cat to muffler! now my car is at a workshop getting some shit removed and replaced! now the only thing that i need are inner guards, would anyone know where i can get some? i've gone to a lot of places but they don't have any so i'm kinda stuck right now! thanks........

well yesterday, friday i just brought a r33 gtst and in a few hours of having it i was at a petrol station cleaning the car and i got defected as well as a mate (advent34)! well i got done for having the exhaust too loud (93 db) and my mate got done for his tyres! well he just has to visit the cop shop while i have to go to regency! well i'm just asking for help, like advice, where i can get this and that etc etc! i just need stock intercooler with piping, stock air box and snorkel stock body kit and front guards! any help would be greatly appreciated! oh and if you have stuff i would be able to borrow that would be crazy to! cheers

my opinion on defecting is just the cops way of trying to control the amount of modified cars on the street! more modified cars would mean more people hooning and risk taking behavior! not everyone does it but there is that fraction of people who've been too heavily influenced by the fast and the furious and shit! but the cops have also lost focus on what the original intent of defecting was, unroadworthy cars!

driving at that speed is stupid on public roads! it doesn't matter if you're a shit driver or a good driver! traveling at 200 kph is more than double 80kph so that minuses more than half the time to react and the distance to do something about it! which would increase the percentage of having an accident by half! speed limits are put in for a reason e.g. the 50kph in suburban areas! it's your choice if you want to speed but I'm not gonna drive around like a nut and make the risk percentage go up! there's a time and place for driving fast and it's where performance cars were made for, the track!

shiet you guys take my mx6 out for a spin and you'll appreciate your cars! but i have to say it's a good fun car because it grips well! i'm still working on my driving through the hills! just this weekend that has passed i was comfortable enough to heel toe while taking a corner! and i'm also more comfortable correcting my car when it oversteers! i'm with the opinion of learning how to drive your car before you start changing it! and i still have a lot more learning to do..... but on the other hand 380kws would certainly shrivel my balls

well normally when you don't rock up to court for a long time they'll issue a warrant out for you're arrest! unless you're a murderer you won't be on top of the list! happened to a mate who was up for drink driving charges and when he didn't rock up for a while he was pulled over for speeding once and when the cops checked up on him he was arrested for the warrants or some shit! well it was something like that

well i don't hoon! the only hooning i do is going to the hills but when driving normally i'm a cautious driver, even in the hills i see another car i'll slow down! safety first! and i can't really afford to replace clutches and tyres all the time! but a few weeks ago my brakes didn't work! i had to freaken downshift and handbrake at 10kphs at ever light on my way home! it was a bad experience

bahahhahaa wutang's clan! well i'm a P plater and i always get stupid shit happen to me! like people not giving way and going up my ass, cutting me off! another thing is other P platers in commies always pick on me! but the other day on torrens road this stupid chick who was a P plater as well she was next to me and out of nowhere swerved into my lane and nearly clipping me! i had to brake hard and nearly went up on the island in the middle of the road! oh yeah and i hate it when at traffic lights and you're turning and there's like 2 lanes that turn and the prick in the other lane doesn't follow the lane and ends up in your lane and nearly smacking you! but everything seems different when i drive a car without plates up! people aren't being dickheads to me and shit well i admit when i first drove a manual car i did something i will never forget and the only mistake that i really made! i was turning on main north road and since i wasn't use to the clutch work i didn't wanna stop and i turned which if i didn't hit the curb i would've made comfortably! but i hit the curb and got caught on it because i was concentrating on the gears and shit and wasn't watching the road and a the car that was comming broke and swerved! i learnt from that mistake! but in my opinion manual cars are harder to drive than auto's but they're safer in a sense! like what happened to pauly, in a manual car you'll know what gear you are in and if you don't you'll know when you start releasing the clutch! and normally when you stop you'll be in neutral or you'll stall if you just take you're foot of the clutch when you're in gear! or it can also be the drivers incompetents! well i don't feel comfortable driving in an auto car anymore! i actually feel nervous for some reason!

yeah same here i put one in my mx6, it's cheap and easy to install! but i need a stupid fuel cut defender! i can only jack it up to around 5-6 psi at the moment because my intercooler brings in too much air! with a stock intercooler it can be boosted to around 10 psi before the fuel cut sets in!
