well if you ever saw my car up close with the 20s you would change ur opinion. depends of the car as a whole. if its just a stock out of the box job with huge wheels, chances are its guna look tacky

Have you givn it a good thrashing now u have the new pipe? cos it will boost higher, and quiker. also, check your vacuum lines, cos i had a prob like that, turned out it was a vacuum leak. it would idle up and down wether it was cold or hot. and sometimes stall at the traffic lights.

Wel i live in picton, like an hour south of sydney, and our roads are shite... bang crunch shake bang, trust me, if you live on bad streets, go for 17-18"... i av 17s on it at the moment, (no rubber on the 20s lol) and its heaps better.

The rb30 vl type blocks dont have oil squirters. only the rb20,25,26 have them. a lot of ppl put the rb25det squirters in the rb30 conversions tho...

if you just jumped it off another battery and not from a running car, i highly doubt that you damaged anythn. the problem with a direct jump start is that the emf from the other cars charging and efi system will interfere with your electronics, and can surge your computer. but sounds to me like the power fc has lost a part of the programming due to the power loss. OR you have a fuel prob. Also, Take out your coil packs and check the little clear window for and discolouration or cracking... i had a similar prob on my rb25det, and it turned out that one coil pack was dead. hope i helped

with the rb30e, are the stock rods and slugs strong enough to take the beating? or a $2500 aftermarket jobs the go? think cheap, thats wat im trying to do.... i know i know, cheap usualling ends up being "cheap", but i dnt av THAT ammount of money lying around atm... I just want to build a torquey motor, turbo upgrade can wait. so 270kw? a the wheels im guessing? why did this guy tell me 320? is he just having a wank? or is he just trying to get work from me?

guys i have a major prob...jst got my car bak from the kanic, ran sweer 4 bout 2 weeks. now she idles rough, accasionally puffs oil smoke,and wen gets boosted past 7psi, it throws u over the steering wheel...once u get revs up off boost its ok, if u rev 2 high or boost it, the catch can nearly explodes with overflowing oil.....i had sum work dun described below: xtr high flowed turbo,zorst, hybrid cooler,850cc injectors,haltech ecu,550hp pump,twin plate clutch,etc.. u thnk possible lean out ending my rings? HELP!!!!!

hey guys. im new to sau, but i jst thort id thro my 2c worth in... im currently building a rb25/30 setup, using a complete factory rb30et bottom end, crank rods and pistons, rb25det head, my current hi flowed xtr turbo,850cc powerflow injectors,haltech ecu, rb26dett water pump, stock oil pump, thru a r33 gtst manusl box...iv been told it will be good for 3/320rwkw...duz this sound rite 2 u?

word of advise... i had a walbro 550hp in tank pump installed incorrectly, causing my brand new 310kw rb25 setup 2 lean out under huge 3rd gear tire smokin and i now need new rings. hooray for dodgy pump installs...
