If you read above it says PM ME FOR DETAILS. this is why i havnt checked back on this thread. these are 100% legal, i would never put myself in such a situation. they are direct from the manufacturer..... And no, these will not be a direct fit onto a rb25det manifold, as they are a t4 exhaust flange, rb25 uses a t3 flange.

mate i just finishd pulling down a rb25det with reasonably low compression, nothing a 150k km motor wouldnt expect. i got the pistons out, and numbers 2,3,4 and 5 were obliterated. the ring lands literally fell on the ground. do a compression test, as ive seen this sort of thing before, and it was actually the head gasket blown between the oil line to the head and cyl 3.... its not ALLWAYS rings........
not all faults are visible to the naked eye paulr33, In MOST cases, its an ic or optocoupler that has an internal short. sometimes this is visibale by a burnt area. but not allways the case.
BHDave, lack of power wont nescisarly damage a unit. if it is running only 11.9v etc, it will draw more current to compensate for the power consumption, as these are internally regulated, and the regulator supplies a consistant voltage within say an input voltage of 10 to 30 volts.
cheers
if you r after a line fuse, it doesnt matter as long as its above the current rraing of the amplifiers max surge current. The reason for a line fuse is to protect the car from catching fire if the cable gets shorted, not to protect the amp..ps put the fuse as close to the battery as possible, to minimuse the distance of a possible short.
on the back of the hub there is a guard, there is a hole which lines up with the stud as you rotate the hub. line it up, and tap it out with a hammer, from the wheel side of the hub inward. then to replace, do the opposite... easy
