thanks mate, did some searching though eveyone has there own say on 32 boost.....it stock 7PSI....stock 10PSI One more questions: I have done heaps search on 32 boost and need some advice! I am going to get the rest of my exhaust done so (dump and front and high flow cat) so it will be a full 3" system...the car will prob run about 11PSI then! Should i get a boost controller and up the boost to 12PSI - dont want to go any higher than this, and get a front mount! or buy a 33 or 34 turbo to get more boost? Cheers

hey, i have a R32 gtst type M! The mods are apexi pod filter and and 3" cat back exhaust (i dont know this for sure though when look under car it is obvious that from the cat back the exhaust is larger then cat to turbo!) I just installed a boost gauge and it is reading 10-11PSI in all gears and holds this! My car does not have a boost controller! Is this boost right as i thought it was a bit high! Do type M run a bigger turbo or more boost? Any help would be great! Cheers, Tyson

Hey everyone, wanting to buy a few things 1: A sealed sub box, for a 12' 2: A 4 channel amp! Must be bridgeable! 75rms x 4 channels @ 4 ohms ( or anything from 65rms - 75rms) 3: Tyres! Anything from 205/55/R16------------->225/55/R16 Must have good tred on them! 4: The interior peice which goes under the steering wheel of a gtst r32! It goes under the steering wheel and connects with the right air con vent! I live in southside brisbane and can pick up of live in brisbane! Otherwise we can sort out postage! i understand that i need an amp that is bridegable, though will the amp still run at 4 ohm when bridged cause the sub is a single coil 4-ohms!

Hey audio people, just wondering, i am about to buy an Alpine head unit (two to choose from, either one with one pre out OR the other with three) a pair of Type R splits, an amp - either 75x4 or 100x4 (both 4ohm) and the reason for the post; a type s 12' single voice coil sub! Now can i run my splits and sub of the one amp ( say i use the 75x4) can i run 50 watt into each split and the rest into the sub(provided the amp lets me do this) will the songle voice coil sub take this? I dont know what a single voice coil sub is? Any help would be great! Cheers, Tyson

My 32 currently has a 3" cat back system and looking to buy a new dump and front pipe as well as high flow cat! Just looking at what is for sale and just wondering what are the differences between a TWIN DUMP: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=74022 SINGLE DUMP: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=141019 What would people recommend, in regards to these two different systems and also differences between mild and stainless systems! was just thinkin and i did make an adjustment to my idle over the weekend and did do some fine adjusting on the idle screw on the side of the ecu! Dont know much about ECU diagnostics but isnt the first mode an exhaust tempertaure mode or somethign like that? Does anybody have any knowledge in regards to that?

just performed on my 32 and went sweet, really helped all the problems! One thing though..when i was adjusting the idle screw on the side of the ecu, it didnt nothing at all and i think i may have gone past the 12 o'clock point! Is this ok, any side affects? It did nothing to my idle!

On my 32 gtst this light keeps commin on (see pic below) the owners manual doesnt say what it is, just names it 'Exhaust Gas Temperature Warning Light' and says if it continues to stay on contact a nissan service dealer! Obviously it has something to do with the tempertaure of the exhaust, just wondering if anyone knew anything about it? I have stcok exhuast! Any help would be great!!! Cheers, Tyson

Having owned both cars myself..... Very true that the 300 are hard to work on, however stock 3L manual do go very well. Few mods and you will have a fair bit of power for a NA. More so, the 300 engine for some reason seem to need more work...what I mean is that a lot of things get dirty, old, corroded and need maintenance. It seemed like I had to clean every little plug in the engine bay!! IMO the 300 look hot. My old 300 had exhaust, air filter and bit of engine work and it would keep up with a few v8 and give turbos a bit of a run! However at the end of the day it is up to you, what you can afford, what you like better and also, what you can find because there is so much cr#p out there due to both of these cars being old! If you upgrade to a TT 300 you will never look back. With basic mods the power is amazing! My second 300 was a TT and it use to eat skylines! However, maintenance on the TT is expensive and these days i prefer the 32, especially the interior!!!! My 2 cents Cheers

didnt mean to put it there, just ring up and they said if have licence before July 2007 you can drive v8 and turbo! Thanks anyway

just wondering, my brother has his licence atm and he is on his P plates (QLD) , if he buys a line now will he be able to drive it next year with the new restrictions, or do power restrictions only apply to people who gain their licence from July 2007? Cheers
