mate i have the exact same turbo and injectors on an RB25 and they work fine. Idle is smooth (well smooth for my liking). Just make sure you get it tuned by someone who knows what they are doing and you will be sweet because I have seen the exact same setup with a dodgey tune and it was running really lumpy and rich even tho the big flames dumped out the exhaust are cool the car runs like shit.

sounds like your stock boost controller isnt connected or working at all. It sounds like the boost is being regulated by your wastegate spring which usually works up to around 11 - 13psi. Install a boost controller and you will proabably notice the issue fixed. If you are worried about the guage, try borrowing another of someone else and see if it hits the same number when u hit full boost. I dont think there would be anything wrong with the guage.

+3 for using the bottom bracket. I thought the adhesive velcro you get in the box was to mount the pfc hand controller. hehe well thats where mine ended up.

lookin at that corner and the length of the skid marks, it seems like he was really haulin ass and he definantly misjudged that corner. unfortunately there are people out there who push too hard with little to no experience. Even last night there was a tool doing burnouts out the front of my house, then 2 minutes later there was a loud bang up the street and the road was blocked for most of the night. I hope it wasnt a fatality anyway.

I have a question where someone can correct me or back me up, doesnt the ABS light come on when the airbag is disconnected??? If u have a aftermarket steering wheel u might be getting that light if it wasnt installed right.

Each to their own i say. I personally dont have a GTR, but i use mine as a daily driver and it has had a bit of work done. I admit the heavy clutch does get a little annoying when sitting in traffic and you would go through more fuel than a nanna car. But I do love the feeling of getting into my car each day and taking it for a drive even if the destination has to be work. PS i do own a runabout car and i never use it. The skyline is much more fun to drive.

Go through the basics. Check the fuses. if they are fine, the old owner may have taken the bulb out of the dash cluster? also check your fluid levels etc etc.

looks a bit like an antenna motor to me or some sort of motor to move something back and forth. What do you think connected to the end of the pipe? Could also be a part of an undercar flame thrower. Any burn marks at the base of your bodykit?

With my mrs, the first time i let her drive my car, she came into a servo waay too fast and bottomed out the car and hit the front bar pretty good. This was after i had told her to slow down as she was coming in or she would bottom out. After a while my confidence in her came back and i decided to let her drive my car again. She did well and she drove it a few times until one day she came into my work and told me she cracked my front bar while trying to park. She is now my ex mrs (but for other reasons). hahahah

A mate of mine did the 33 > 34 conversion a while ago. and from what he went through its not worth it. You do have to source all OEM parts. We had trouble lining up the headlights as they dont bolt straight in, and he had to get brackets made up. Also the biggest issue was the bonnet hinges. R33 hinges didnt fit to the bonnet right so he had to get custom ones made up. if i remember right he used the r33 hinge as the base and got s15 hinges for the top. I myself thought the r33 hinges should work until i was proven wrong. Oh and you can get away with using the same rio bar, but you would have to hack it up a bit depending which front bar u put on it. It looks good in the end but i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. That bolt is horrible. what did everyone use to get it out? I had to cut down one of my spanners to even get into that little space.

the best place to put the bov is where the police cant see. but if your after response then my vote would be as close to the throttle body as possible

hmm. well it really pulsates when the car is idling. but i have noticed sometimes when i get it to near redline the battery light lets off a bit of a flicker on occasions. I bought a brand new battery a few months ago, and i spent a fair bit on it. and it was happening before i got the battery. so im ruling that out at the moment. Or I should just say it better not be the battery or else.

Hi all, Im having an issue with my car at the moment and i dont know much about car electrics so im a little stumped. When i start the car at night all the lights and everything seems to pulsate. it doesnt sit on a constant 14v, it jumps back and forth between 13 and 14 volts. I can also hear it affect the fuel pump aswell. I only mainly notice it because the headlights constantly go dim and bright. Is there something like a voltage regulator or something like that that could be stuffed? if so where could it be and what can i do to fix this? I would be forever greatful if i can get some answers. Thanks

hmm i didnt think it was that big. I bought 4/5mm silicon hose and that did the trick nicely

^^^ agreed, it can come down to having a washer around the wrong way. i had the same issue myself.

Heres mine. Im about to get the cam cover and rocker covers painted but im undecided between painting them dark blue or a textured/ matt black. Oh and I just discovered the meguiars dash and vinyl foam brings up rubber hose and plastics really nice and it lasts a while too. im in the process of trying random products on cleaning up the engine bay.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. But I was wondering if anyone has found any company in Australia who makes copies of the trust drag wing/ garage saurus wing? Or if anyone knows where i could source one for a reasonable price? Im still looking for one. Im sure there are more people out there who want the same style aswell.

How do you go by tuning it out with the power fc URAS? Im having the same problem with my car which has very similar setup. I thought the problem could be reduced with the power fc but i was told otherwise by a mechanic.
