I run a R32 GTR Nismo diff centre with R32 GTS-4 crown and pinion 4.375 and NO front diff and a little peaky and traction probs and when she goes I think I will go to a 4.1. GTR with no front diff is NO WHERE. By the way Jeff the manager from Oran Park was telling me yesterday day they are drumming up a Time Attack event later this year and my use the short tight north circuit or otherwise south. Only problem is it may not be just jap cars and Porsches come we are no where. Such as well set up GT3 Carrera cup although they may be in different category but still not as good being second fiddle. If tight north circuit a rexy or EVO would be looking good. Eastern Creek Zed would be right in there although won't happen as no good for veiwing and COST plenty.

Yes I know pushing the boundaries but DOT and not as good in the wet that is for sure but may be better in the dry than fully treaded semi slicks but maybe not. Much cheaper than all the other semi slicks though. I guess I will have to go out and buy much more expensive RE55's or similar then and do it. What if faster though?? Maybe then it will be said it is our special car polish we use.

It is a DOG BOX, no clutch on changing up so much faster chaing up and a bit faster down also saves a second or two overall or more on most tracks.

Yeah yeah bla bla and I was smacking you guys with GTR's way back with stock motor. Yesterday just cracked into the 47 sec bracket, well just with a 47.99 on DOT approved new semi slicks, which I always said would be better than the old slicks I have been using, in fact .4 of a second faster than my best ever on slicks. Oz GTR02V you now know old slicks are not always better than good semi slicks hey? I thought about it on way home and looked like you were cooking the outside of those slicks right? Need more neg camber. By the way there was another fast zed there yesterday, Ron in his 60's cardigan and pipe grand father of four with an auto zed and all his bling, yesterday did a 51.9 semi slics. No it was a green one form a MX 5 specialist shop in Hornsby and competes in improved production and I think big power as had a decent turbo on it and has done a 1 min 3 I heard in the dry? That is floppin moving.

Yep I got smacked by Russles R32 GTR 1 min 6.3 I believe and looked awesome. Very well prepped and neat and clean, bit like fatz's R31 nugget?????? As predicted fatz was the entertainment though showing everyone reall men drift, and go off the end of the stragiht. I did a silippery 1 min 10 .8 after it started to rain and my minimum groove semi slicks were not suited to wet that is for sure nearly lost it twice on that lap. Motor went in this morning and apart from stripped out thread in bell housing for starter motor which we fixed, and alloy flywheel thread stripped, but solved and we are on track although cutting it fine. I also tested my NEW semi slicks and much better as I predicted than my used semi slicks I get for free or close to. Tomorrow will do 1 min 5 or maybe better if conditions are right. This means fatz goes after me and throws his dirt around. Bring on your GTR's.

We have had a bit of a hurdle. Whilst showing off on SAU dyno day we turned up boost and made 427rwkw once in morning then at very end of the day. She was blowing smoke which it had not done before and thought odd. We did a comp test and cylinder leakage last week and both down, and two cylinders had oil on spark plugs. Pulled it out and stripped the motor and found all rods bents mainly two and also twisted. We now know what stock rods linished and shot peened will not handle. Anyway picked up crank today that needed a little linish and balanced with new Scat rods, head service and back together tomorrow and Wednesday as long as no major dramas will be there on Thursday even if a little late. Well Snowman I did a 1 min 6.57 in December dodging slow HQ's on old slicks. I am sure I will be faster on new semi slicks, only prob is they cost money. If I don't do a 1 min 5 I will be disappointed. Although it will be harder for all of us putting it together in basically one lap. Fatz spinners hey bit of bling for this event, that's the spirit.

Yes Paul mostly right accept the boost only run 26si at the straight line thing with bumper bars. Circuit around 15psi. Also parts on this motor very cheap motor mostly factory stuff modified. My clutch is single plate cost me about $400 MEGA Dollar twin plate R34. Stock 5 speed gear box slow changing compared to your 6 speed. But yes not a real comparison as yours is road car which I mentioned on the Zed forum with same vid but thought to through the bait out there on this forum and it worked. Always makes discussion. Come rub my nose in it at the track with your GTR's with the bling stickers. Keep in mind I was beating GTR's with mostly full trim and stock engine and not many mods years ago. Not all zed owners where cadigans.
