1 min 8.5 in my boat and with John Boston ( Pro Driver) 1 min 7.7. Yes with slicks but second hand and dragging an anchor.

Yeah yeah bla bla and to think I was concerned it would not be a stinking hot day as can be this time of year. At least I paid and did not rev it up and not pay and not turn up. I would have stuck it in the wall yeasterday, speed boat no good with slicks only on her. Weatherzone.com.au radar showed ugly all day as well as my zed scouts Ron and Wayne ( Ports) told me. We spoke on the phone throughout the day and at about 1pm still wet all over. The slot car was all reved up to come smack Skyline too. When or where is there any other days this year????????? Preferably Oran or the Creek. Front bum, love that one Paul you bloke you.
-
Luv that one Nathan. I also might put the anchor on board if wet so if I lose it over the dog leg I can throw it out in an emergency. It would be a shame to have more zeds than Skylines on a Skyline day hey. Common guys get out from behind your keyboards and have a go. You would love to beat a zed shouldn't be too hard.
-
Nathan pull your pants up and zipper round front. Half the reason I was going is uncle Nathan was going out. Also check with the boss before putting your hand up for motorsports events is always a good idea. I must train you up. I live with four bossy women and learned lots about this. I am sure I will find someone to take your place. Do accept zeds with money? Pete there is more to motorsport than beer and burning rubber. Benm you are motorsports s**t and if there was a prize for it you win by far, cya out there.

Hey Duncan what's with all these GTR's with engines out?? You coming anyway and bringing your Skyline stop watch? I guess you would not go well watching though as would be wanting to get out there right? How many are going anyway, and anything decent to have a go with or a lot of Skyline speed humps? Is there timing equip on the day and what type anyone know?

I contacted Aaron direct and took my money and said no probs asn sent a receipt. Might be full now might be plenty of spaces left only one way to find out. I would suggest contacting him if you actually want to go not just want to know if you can go. Don't want to sound to bold but don't want to mess things up for future events and wasting his time. As from past experience has unfortunately shown there has been a lot of false starts as such, from people beer talking and not turning up. 48 722-622 www.aaronmcgillmotorsport.com email [email protected]

Times Yes Duncan I know I can't run less than 15 psi so? Weight you mean you have not lightened your car? You can do that and or add weight were you want. I might drag an anchor in the boat is that acceptable. By the way I did a 48.27 with a tyre that kept goingflat and 11 and 12 psi flat and eended up rolling off the rim. If conditions are good I will do a 47 on this day. I will be there by the way I contacted Aaron direct and paid and locked and loaded. How could I miss this sounds like it will be a big Skyline day how many going anyway? How many paid not just saying they are going. Lets hope for not too hot weather. Duncan you going? Mark Hawkins going? GTR Jason going could be a showdown? Paul D or is he straight line only man now? Probably all get done by those irritatingly fast little noisy things anyway.

Hey Phil love to have a go with you. I saw you waving each time you won at Oran on that day night Sat event a few weeks back. I was over drifting at the go karts section You smashed them and could see you smiling through your helmet. I might have to get some restrictors in my zed to make it fair though other wise I will .......you. PS I put that steering wheel spacer in that you suggested and much better. I did a 48.27 Super Sprint on Sunday this was on three and half wheels.

I would be keen to get my boat out to if not stinking hot day and no rain and Smack some Skyline.

Hey slow up on the birthdays I don't want them to come around any faster after 41 of them under my belt, mine is 30th June or is this my other life or? We actually turned down the boost to try and get traction withthe circuit suuspension set up and still did 139.67mph. Wait until the VQ35 much more power again and 100kg lighter, although Sport RWD I think I will have to add weight, currently 1310kg with out me? How is this for power graph though 5000rpm nearly 400rwkw and 200rwkw plus from 36000 rpm and it rev limited at 8500 which I hit lots going down the straight line thing. Huge power band.
-
They are a bit behind as they print a few months behind. Ran a 10.709 139.67mph, cold night still had circuit set up as did not have time to change springs or even raise the car or adjust camber which was neg 1.4 and car was on the deck so not good for weight trasfer to rear and would not squat much. We only raced on Sunday at E Creek circuit and alternator failed which we changed on the Monday. My guys have been so busy with customers cars that we did not have time to do what we wanted and lucky to have made the track as the motor was sold and coming out on the Thursday at short notice and yes buyer was aware it was goign to the track. Traction was our biggest problem this time as the car had HEAPS of power. First two runs I smoke four gears and even grabbed fifth and went over the line spinning the wheels. With a warmer night and better set up, and with the power it makes it should do a low 10. As testimony to our clutch just one of our single plate clutches and done heaps of track days with a bit over 1300 kg 456.6rwkw was too much for it. Now we have new ones with 1550kg clamp load. Only managed 5 runs as a big oil down and lots of cars and the last two runs I had clutch slipping bad. I ended up in the lane right after the oil down and did a massive wheel spin in third when I suspect I hit a slippery bit and thought I might get to test my new cage. Straightened it up but not a good run. The motor is out today as planned and sold and on the back of a Ute with one of our engine brackets we make to transport motors and heading up to Newcastle with the new owneras I type. We have the funds now to put together a VQ35, 100kg lighter and will have a lot more power. We will throw together a cheapy VG motor for cicuit days for the short term. Also got to weigh the slot car for the first time and 1310kg with three quarter of a tank of fuel and with out me in it. This was about what I thought it would be. Yes running DOT approved street tyres for the HPI comp as well as Sport RWD. Good to see yo there Benm which you always seem to turn up to motorsports events. A true enthusiast. Beer Baron it is not that I did not invite you it was last minute rush and no time to let you know. I was on the back foot after th false start at the SAU drag day so rather than say yes we are going etc and something comes up we just put our heads down and got there.

I have E BOOST II in the my Zed TT slot car and very good. We did have issues with a GTR with Blitz Dual SBCi over 20 psi. It was fluctuating the boost badly and could not stabilise it no matter what we did. We swapped it for another after trying to add filters in line and adjust gain etc thinking it may be faulty and then after changing for another new one same probs. Put E Boost in and all good. Bigger solenoid the Blitz dual solenoid is not very big in fact small and may not cope with big boost it seems. Yes Ben our tuner with 10.66 132mph MR2 is clever and tells it as it is and very capable. We have lap top tuning for Power FC GTR and GTS-T we also specialise in GTR, GTS-T and ZEDs.
