  1. You are missing the point and yes outright flow is not everything, that is why the exstrude honed ones are better as they are more even in flow proven on flow bench test not a Bling Sticker. Also again there is not enough room to make long runners. For twin turbo set up it is tight area smoother thicker cast ones are the go, that is with twin turbo, well made extractors for single turbo may be better although still have the prob of manifolds cracking and radiating a bit more heat. More flow especially if more even is better, obviously. The stainless ones we tested were better than stock as mentioned just not as good as factory cast ones ported and extrude honed. I know many would rather have a bling sticker or mention bling name of a part on their car rather than go fast, just not me.
  2. Oz GTR02V nearly has them sorted and will have CD's with HEAPS of pics of each car available for sale at Show and Shine tomorrow. GTR Jason I think the photo guy said has over a hundred pics of your car alone so must be special. The photos ofthe big blow up with big fire trailing under the car is tops. Get it happening, pull your GTR's appart and make one good one to challenge the Slot Car. Can't wait. Let me know anything you need we will help.
  3. Yep got them 10 at the moment all polished and sealed nice, they have all fittings for underneath the plenum to match up with all factory hoses, aslo has custom made studs to bolt straight up to lower runners. SAU release price for first ten $1350 each.
  4. Anyone know the thickness of the stock GTR cast manifolds? Stainless ones are usually 2 to 3mm and I am sure the cast ones are much thicker but hard to measure?
  5. You do like the revs Jason. Will you make 25 Sep? We built three RB26 motors last month. If you need help at all parts or labour let us know, if we build it though we might set your rev limiter to 12,000rpm.
  6. Do it Jason much better, more cubes more grunt. Why go sideways and get another RB26.
  7. Window in block, sounds nasty. You were revving the ring out of it on Sunday trying to catch my zed so I not surprised. RB26 blocks hard to get and we don't have any sorry, try Just Jap . We have plenty of VG30 blocks, indestructible never heard of anyone busting one of those, why don't you try one? At least you went out with a bang and have the pics of the flames on the track, which the prices of just went up. Makes for a good story at least Jason. Will you be ready for Sep 25 for the Zed V GTR Cup?
  8. I was being polite. Although we could have a session on our site for the old girls? Maybe ten minutes max so they last as Geoff, manager at Oran said, " NO LEAVING DEAD CARS THERE."
  9. R31 Nugget racing get your tickets with a feature race of boats get your zeds ready. Grab your beer and see you at the track. Oh dear and we wonder why CAMS don't trust us.
  10. I know it is cheating owning a shop. We race we learn you win. I had to say it. I already own a R31 GTS-T 4 door 3 litre TI loan car some of you have driven. I think if I got her out at the track it might not come home. Maybe it is trendy to have a beast and not take to the track and bring a shitter instead?? Maybe I am getting old but it does not make sense to me.
  11. Beer Baron put your beer down and read or listen we do South circuit unless you want to pay for the full circuit, hard enough to cover costs as it is. Don't worry about your R31 you have a GTR what are you doing man?
  12. gtr jason 4 seconds dreamin. Next time out we will see and it will be interesting. Glad you came on the scene finally to give me some competition as of late it has been dodge the slower GTR. Bla Bla Bla.
  13. Yep nice thought yellow GTR out front it must have being lapped. Must have been very frustraing Duncan just running your motor in and watching and feeling the zed and other GTR's flyiiiiiing by? I know I rounded you up a few times at semed like twice your speed or more and did a big sideways slide just missing the wall coming onto the straight just in fornt of you for one of the flybys. Merli you missed a great day and early in the day as you can see from the pics a big line up of GTR's out on the track with the zed busting through. Also the pics I posted were lower res so easier to download, I received a CD today and some realy clear nice shots. Sep 25 next one at Oran and there has been heaps on interest so should have a great line up of cars, better weather and Duncan might have his yellow thing run in by then?? GTR V Zed challenge will be on. I will have my new twin brake master cylinders changed to smaller ones so they will work and not run off the end of straight as I did this twice. I also had to brake heaps earlier than normal. I might get a good lap time though with less slow GTR's in the way. Might even get some new slicks instead of the second hand ones I use which are about a second off the pace of new ones according to John Web, Porsche Race Driver, who I get them from. Otherwise some semi slicks to shut everyone up. GTR Jason get your fire bomb fixed and ready hey? Beer Barron put your beer down and have a go you must be keen after experiencing that lot from the side line on Sunday. Got the gear use it and be part of the feeling. Alright I will give you a head start. By the way those wondering who was the mad driver in the tan coloured old 323 with carby and drum brakes and auto, it was one of our Mechanics Mat who rides some mean bikes and he tired his best to scrape the door handles.
  14. Hey B-Man yes added a top one with girnie strip. It definitely helps keep the car stuck on the track over the flip flops where it used to be very light. Also carbon fibre front winglets to keep the front down also.
  15. I am impressed Tomo call me. I love the high shot looking back down the straight where GTR's part to make way for the Zed.
  16. Yep lighting was not best especially from where Michael took lots of them sort of into the light from the sun. This one from behind is better light and nice drift Jason coming onto the straight.
  17. Times although does not have type of car or handicaps yet. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../2005.ORAN.E1.I http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results..../2005.ORAN.E2.I
  18. I was just emailed a bunch of photos from Michael who was the pro photograpther that was there with that massive lense positioned at start of the straight mainly. He has some unreal shots of GTR Jasons angry looking white R32 GTR on fire, in fact two great shots of this. These and many others will be for sale so can't post them here. Zed even has time for a wave waiting for GTR's to catch up.
  19. We are working with time keeper to get it all sorted and in correct classes of cars and will handicaps etc and a few cars not on the site. Should be all done tomorrow.
  20. Yep took a bit longer due to the last minute changes we had to do a sign on forms with Cams. There will be Professional photos link on our site very soon and there will be actions of yesterday on our DVD released in August. Yes on handicap GTR Jason beat met I did 49.19 with slicks and Jason did a 50.66 on street tyres. He cheated though as had front diff still going, he he. Very cold day and traction was a big prob for the boat and yes I nearly clipped that Drive On Milk sign a few times. Best viewing area of future reference is southern end coming onto the straight. I had new twin brake master set up which we had not tried on track and peddle was way too hard and could not pull it up at end of straight and had to brake way early. Actually went off the end twice. I could not lock the brakes no matter how hard I pushed and thought I was going to break the seat. I will be getting smaller master cylinders and testing and should be much better. Yes Jason or any other candidates next UAS track day at Oran South Sunday 25 September. Have your go. Unfortunately Blair the pro video guy came late and missed me rounding up a stack of GTR's on the straight in the first session. Made my day thanks Paul you assisted this twice. Not good lots of cars did not see the day out MR2 did a gear box again and we quickly ran out of enough GTR's to play with. Zed powers on again.
  21. Boat should suit the rain but not 4WD and yes recently contemplated and researched posibility in turning it into 4WD with GTR running gear front, got the R32 GTR Nismo rear diff in it now. If it does rain the GTR's should do well.
  22. Will be more drifting and more talent required, I think may only be light rain although hard to say at this point. Supposed to rain today and nothing yet. I have R34 GTR rims and wet tyres ready.
  23. I am interested if not a marathon. Hey they got a Kart that looks like a zed?
  24. I am not surprised at all Adrian and about time and pushed you over the edge to get what you should have anyway a stronger tighter faster reacting diff. Don't just put a stocker back in. No we don't have anything in stock sorry. Looking forward to the SAU drag day at end of the month don't just come watch get it sorted.
  25. Yes will be four instructors. Also Geoff who is the manager of Oran Park and is an events caller for the Drift Days at Oran will be anouncer for us this Sunday. We also just confirmed we will be having a pro photographer who owns a moded EVO 8 and will be taking pics of cars in pits and in action and will be for sale on his site after the day. Unique Media headed up by a guy called Blair will be there getting action vids which will be part of professional DVD we are putting together and will be for sale soon. See here for an idea of his work almost 7 megs. http://300zx.com.au/downloads/unique_300a.wmv
