B Man Turbo arrived back this morning. With good driver, I volunteer, and correct set up your car could run a 10. I was speaking with Rayn who owns OBHAVE that we sponsor and he runs 11.2 on 235 ( not wide enough ) semi's and 10.2 on slicks.

Working on that as we speak plus lots of other goodies such as line locker so I don't fight those big brakes and get diff and box hot. Working on 15 inch rims but checking on tyres to suit, treaded radials.

I just put a post in events re this as I thought that is where it should go and noticed nothing there. Then I do a casual surf over to NSW main and here it is. Double exposure? Big imports night Buster has orgainised Imports only lane. I have posted on the Zed forum, Lexus Soarer Forum and FTO forum. Mainly have a lot of interest with a bunch coming from the zed camp. There should be a few 12's amoungst them to compete with. I spoke with Grant from Zoom HPI today and said they should be there. If nothing else you can see the Zed Slot Car Boat run a 10 sec pass. 2rismo I checked the pis on that site and every second one seemed to be you doing big and then BIGGER burn outs. You going on the 10th as I will have vid with good batteries this time and get a good vid of your burn out for our site?

Hey BU5TER Feb daytime? Can be stinking hot that time of year, not best for car or drivers. Might be better March or even April. I think you are on to a winner though. I have been to lots of Wednesday nights to watch and I was like Duncan thinking bit slow. Not enough action and too much waiting fi competing and wasn't overly keen to enter. Plus running SAU and getting all the gang together rather than getting lost amoungst the hectic GEMNI's or sick FALCON's. See if can get own day as in full SAU day only and then allows for more to come right? If not enough I could get some zed boys you can play with or against? They are not all slow heavy boats.

Yes uncle Duncan had the boat tech inspected and have ANDRA licence and ANDRA log book and all legal and confirmed yesterday, no prob for Wednesday nights. Would a trade plate make everyone feel better? Also Duncan in case you haven't heard you now officially only own one Skyline, and one Datsun nearly forgot.

I went, I had fun smacking all these Skylines. Did not even think of falling asleep it was actually fun. Not as much as 2rismo though he was on fire. First time for me. At SAU Drag Day today at WSID first time out shot my mouth off, said "Should do 11 sec. First run missed did a 12.18 later did a Temp 20 C ET 11.56 60ft 1.91 130.19mph Result. Beat all the Skylines there. Oh I should not say that.

Just received a call from the tech inspector who said he will check my car at the track 8 to 9am so all go. Also tinkered on the dyno with cam gears and more yesterday and now makes 384rwkw 23psi and 200rwkw at 3400rpm. Car weighs a bit over 1400kg estimated and has 4.4 ratio diff and running 305 wide slicks, circuit racing type so not best and will be the handicap.

Just to clarify the verbal. It should do 11'snot easy. I am having all sorts of fun with Andra and tech inspectors trying to get it inspected in time, which here we are Thursday morning and I still don't have it done. I contacted ANDRA well over a month ago and they put me onto a tech inspector in Sydney and there are only two, and volunteers at that. I was told to apply and pay for an ANDRA license and buy a ANDRA log book, which I did. I then sent emails and many phone calls to the tech inspector a few weeks back to say all ready come check it out. NO replies. I have spoken to and emailed ANDRA many times in frustratiion with firm almost polite demands explaining that it is THIS Sat I AM racing. I said I have all these Skylines to SMACK. I will be there. I know I will beat Wrecked head as he won't turn up I'll bet.

Depends on Yen and air freight costs as it is a little tricky. I ordered a bunch of stuff from this company to check it out and was sent individually boxed and then put in a big box and air freight was a killer as one pair of these adjustable radius rods cost me around $300 with freight and tax. In bulk yes I get it cheaper and not taking up so much room air frieght will also drop price a lot. I calculated out to be still in front at $250 a pair. Their air freight pricing is a bit pricy and organising ourself is not much better. We still don't have 10 and unless we get 20 then may not be able to do much cheaper although possible. I have not asked for any money or orders just yet, more to see interest, and please only post if you are serious. Not that it is a big out lay but adds up. I plan on doing a lot of biz with this company and this will help kick things off and you guys can also benefit.

Re freight we can do $15 postage and handling anywhere in Australia per pair, although if more than one pair going to same place then no extra charge for freight for additional sets. OK how about 5 or more can do for $395 normally $475 for the up spec model with back lit screen and optional external power which is the one to get. Or if wanting the normal one battery operated only then $350 normally $399. This is if we get 5 or more of any combo.

Hey Roy the Aim lap timer is unreal. Wish I had a long time ago. So handy to know the exact times so can compare driving and set up of car. Yes slicks, 3 .4 of them. One was still flat spotted bad from Oran Park. Was vibrating bad especially down the straight as it was like driving on 50 cent peice. I might get semi slicks and lose a sec or two max over the ones I had yesterday then more of a comparison to the .....times of GTR's? With 4 good tyres prob another sec in it. Prank well you said it I didn't. More that the zed is under rated. I would love a Stagea, had one on order for like a year and gave up and bought a LS400 family car which is nice and yes hotted it up a bit. When you bringing her around to show us Prank?
