  1. Off the subject Blitz. Had a V yet this morning.
  2. V was part of the cause of the topic I suspect. Some say I have a mild case of ADD as I run at about thousand percent as it is, so if I took this stuff I might play squash even more, hassle the wife more, run around the block more, talk faster and get side tracked even more ( no not more says Merli) be impatient and frustrated having to stand in ques and microwaves are too slow, and why my part has NOT arrived that I ordered from UAS. All in fun. PS Are you reading this whilst at work in IT sipping on a V or Red Bull, whilst pretending to be doing computer work for the company?? He He.
  3. Yes I know you bought direct from Jap and saved money and worked out for yoiu if there is more to it then yes like to know. either way pop around. I now drink the oldies version of V called Cup of Chino's but only one a day. And yes I often get to hear about the big body slam the cops did the night before on cruises etc and defecting the young and wrestless and the war stories.
  4. Yes good to get feed back no probs. I think Oli when he worked for us got a bit put off when he spent quite some time showing you cars and tyring to help find one and you bought elsewhere after all that. Thats life I know but it can be off puting. We get so busy so busy hard to catch all the peices and stay positive when sometimes we feel like we are a showroom only. No probs all good come visit for a show and tell. We are much better set up now all at same location, much more stock and more on display after 8 break ins at old location we did not put much on display at old shop as the bady's used tol love it. Free window shopping.
  5. Zed scared? NOT. Yep exactly break in wiring loom to alternator we found and running hot too but all sorted now and when it was not running hot and started raining you were the one that backed off. Come out now running great and we will see even if you have a 4 wheel drive beast by then.
  6. Fleetwood Mack is actually music. Thanks for the info on raging. A customer came in the other day with his zed and actually had the Macks on, I said great stuff. Yes he had his cardigan on and is about 50 and a proffessor of engineering os something. The non music is the DUF DUF or boof boof then is it? On Sats I ware my shirt out now as this is now the trend right? My young sister the other day said she would diss own me otherwise. Hey guys come try and beat the old guy in his fat ZED TT at our next track day and I will go round you with the Macks playing.
  7. Must be sorry and an example of the probs and confusion with the alias call names on forums, unless I am blind no name in profiles as per normal also. Some like to hide I understand but don't agree with. I thought it was Brendan obviously not. Makes sense now. Same colour car and looks etc. I recently discovered the Australian Soarer forum and they all use and have to use ones actuall real name. Imagine that no confusion, no hiding and also some may say no fun.
  8. That is very good power ( although dyno's vary) considering standard dump and engine pipe, they are a bit more than 2 inch but yes 3 inch much better. Cat 3 inch there I assume? I thought you went all out with big turbo, EMS etc and more and had or was expecting 260 rwkw which I doubted?
  9. If I die my hair darker, maybe cut it short, put my cap on backwards bring my V drinks along, have not tasted one yet am I missing out? Crank my seat right back and play the duff duff music and I will leave my Fleetwood mac CD at home I promise. Can I them come out raging with you guys I am very young at heart??
  10. JimX What power does your car make anyway and did you go with EMS or found out not so good?
  11. Hi Prank. I was an oldy on the other site downunder but the new one here all start again. How do I become an oldy or senior and no Nick I don't mean grey hair I start to qualify?
  12. Appart from me all my current staff are great, and the person arguing no longer with us. I pay top money and try to screen staff and unfortunatley have aksed quite a few ove r the years on trial to leave UAS. I can and do rub people the wrong way sometimes my strong personality, my Police back ground and throw in a huge workload and pressure. Our new location is so much bigger and efficient which helps. I also am relieved to have fresh enthusiasm from casual staff on Saturdays like Nick ( Blitz), but he cheats with a bottle or two of V. Re AFC yes we have been fitting and tuning them for years but kind of over them as they are a band aid treatment. We do road tune them but dyno would be easier. Looking at getting the Dynopac. With the R33 GTS-T in particular and microprocessor they are like a parasite that helps but still not good. We are fitting lots of Autronic, Microtech and Power FC which all work well. Curious JimX how did you find AFC and how is your car and what power does it make, you were going to drop back and show me?
  13. Re drifting, I was tempted but decided not to drift into first corner as with that timley small amount of rain, that green stuff can be real slippery and did not want to bend my car on the tyre wall that sticks out. I gave the zed a hard time all day and held together well and drifting can be hard on cars so I was a little tame there although managed a decent smokey in third. Real happy with the track time. John Boston, race driver in my car did a 1min 7.8 considering fastest GTR that I am aware of with Warren Luff driving was Geoff Fear's R32 from SSS Automotive with Gibson motor did a 1 min 6 .8 only a sec faster or Gary Burchet R33 GTR N1 turbo's etc and Holinger sequential box 1 min 6.95. My factory viscous diff was slipping bad as worse as it got hot, we didn't have time to put in the Nismo GTR diff, and losing at least a second a lap plus other items we are improving am sure it will be easy 1 min 6 sec. At least I can say it has a GTR diff, water pump pulley and viscous fan. Could be more in the future.
  14. Gday guys, Results from yesterdays trackday at Wakefield are now up. Follow the link from the main page at Nismo.com.au or Click here John Unique Autosports
  15. Yes I know some Skyline bits are better. Also for those wondering it is free to watch, and still positions available can turn up on day and pay to have a go.
  16. If you are keen we are doing a bit of a convoy semi cruise I guess, anyway leaving UAS 5.30am. Might get your V drinks to get up that time or just some Skyline adrenaline. With the temptation to see Skylines and GTR's rule agian. There will be one fast zed there to have a go with. Spoke with Terry today who told me cn't make this one.
  17. Terry said he would bring that or one of his other nice toys.
  18. Ok it's happening agian this one is 13th of April, 2003 at Wakefield. As per normal we get mostly GTS-T's and GTR's. Usually get around 45 cars with usually around 20 plus GTS-Ts and GTR's. My zed is getting more like a Skyline with R32 GTR diff modified for increased clamp and using 4.3 gears out of R32 GTS-4. Nismo diff bushes with modified 300ZX NA diff cradle with urethane cradle bushes. Also has R33 GTR water pump pulley as larger than Zed to slow it down and stop cavitation. So come try against our Zed and have some fun. Free to come watch and if you want to know more or application to come and have a drive go to our site. NISMO.com.au
