1992 R32 Gtr - White - Modified - $12K
Amaru replied to Amaru's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
No rust under the car. Sorry for the late reply, haven't had a chance to get on here again till now. Car is off the market, missus is now getting rid of hers instead of me getting rid of mine to make the required car space - sorry! -
1992 R32 Gtr - White - Modified - $12K
Amaru replied to Amaru's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I have thought about parting it out, but don't have the time or space It would also be a shame imo, as every mechanic who has driven it comments that it is one of the best driving R32's they have come across. It's a brilliant car and if someone picks it up they are getting an absolute bargain - all it then needs is a bit of money put into the body -
Hi all, For sale is my 1992 R32 GTR that I purchased back in 2003 with 72,000km's on the clock. The vehicle had one Australian owner prior to buying it, and it is now up to 110,000km. The Good - Racepace Stage 1 RB26DETT (oil gallery modifications, head rebuilt with new guides, shims etc, forged pistons, R33 GTR crankshaft, sump baffles etc) - Tomei Poncams (260 in/ex) - HKS camgears - Tomei twin entry fuel rail - 2L surge tank in the boot with Bosch 044 fuel pump, braided lines to the fuel rail - HKS twin plate clutch (with 50% meat remaining) - HKS lightened flywheel - Sard 800cc injectors - Garrett T04z (0.86) on X-speed high mount manifold with Tial 44mm external wastegate - Trust/Greddy PE-ii drag exhaust - Trust/Greddy aluminium radiator - Trust/Greddy dual entry drag intercooler - Splitfire coil packs - HKS Twin Power ignition amplifier - Autronic SM4 ECU - Blitz ZZ-R coilovers - Whiteline front and rear sway bars, all bushes front to back have been replaced with Whiteline - V-spec Brembo 4 pot callipers on the front with DBA 4000 slotted discs - R34 GTR wheels with new (90% tread) Federal tyres The interior of the car is very clean and in remarkable condition for its age, with no dash bubbles and no broken aircon vents. The car has an R33 GTR drivers seat, with normal wear and tear but no rips. The Bad - Snapped key stuck in drivers side door lock - Gunmetal grey front bar and no grill (do have a carbon fibre grill in box, brand new, that will go with the car) - Tachometer stops working occasionally on the instrument cluster The Ugly - 10cm spot of rust on the roof at the top of the drivers side A pillar. - Dent in passenger side door - Touched up scrape just behind the rear drivers side door Summary Overall the car is in A1 mechanical condition, with all parts above being brand new (excluding the clutch and sway bars which were previously on the car) and installed in the last 5000kms. All mechanical work was done by Autotech Services in Hume, ACT and it has a conservative tune on it currently making 380kw at all four wheels (Autotech have a dyno dynamics 4wd dyno). The car drives straight and I really cannot stress enough that mechanically this car is brilliant, anyone that drives it will be impressed. The body of the car however does require some TLC - a few thousand on a decent paint job and getting the surface rust on the roof removed is all it would take to make this car absolutely mint. Why am I selling? I have owned this car for almost 10 years now and interests/priorities have changed over the years. I was intending to fix the body up, but need to purchase a 4WD ute and have run out of garage space. I also only drive the car once a fortnight for a 50km round trip just to keep it running. The car is located in Canberra and registered with no outstanding defects and is not listed as a write off on any systems. I am asking for $12,000 which I believe is a fair price given the work that has gone into it, and that it is basically brand new mechanically. Will upload pictures tomorrow night. Best contact for me is through PM on here or via the mobile, 0423 670 289. Due to my job I am often unable to take calls during the day, but will respond after hours.

Keep spotting a gunmetal grey R32 GTR complete with Federal Tyres sticker and SKY32R plates outside my work in Woden. Also spotted an orange R33 with a girl driving it, not sure of anyone else has seen it???
-
Sinistas plates should read NOBGBLR (the best way I could come up of saying knob gobbler in 7 letters).
-
Saw the plates FOMOCO on a Toyota Corolla today. FOMOCO is the acronym commonly used for the Ford Motor Company, specifically their racing parts and muscle cars.
-
Spotted an orange r33 with a girl driving it on Hindmarsh Drive yesterday morning...
-
I'm not over 40 you dick, I'm not even 30!
-
I was going to say, pretty sure it's a female that drives the orange 33. I see it basically every morning heading in the opposite direction to me when I'm driving to work. I'd wave but I'm never in the skyline, so she'd probably think I'm just some chump trying to pick her up. Wonder if it's the ex J-racing car? Certainly looks like it. Not a skyline, but spotted a brand new looking Ford Super Duty F-350 at Perisher today... So big and so so awesome. Size does matter when it comes to those things...

So, I was talking to the penis gobbler (Richard/Sinista) and we have devised a plan for a weekend long cruise for the Snowy Mountains 1000. Plan is depart Canberra Saturday morning and head down to Cooma airport for the event to watch some hektik cars. After the event head another 40 minutes down the road and stay in Jindabyne Saturday night, enjoying dinner and plentiful amounts of alcohol. Sunday morning go for a legal thrash up past Perisher to Charlotte Pass where Sinista can show off his 4WD skills and tow me around on a snowboard. Then head off to Thredbo, and through the back roads to Tumut. Grab some lunch somewhere and head back up the Hume Highway to Canberra. 98RON fuel available the whole way and I should be able to organize some cheaping accommodation in Jindabyne depending on how many are coming. So if anyone's interested, speak up

Spotted a midnight purple R33 GTR with ACT plates 2 cars in front of me heading to Perisher this morning just before 9.

jackass!
-
Dont answer or reply to my calls then Sin you jackass!!!
-
What time do people normally congregate at bnp customs?
-
No snow tomorrow so I'll be out tonight in an inline 6 turbo of some sorts, probably not at the CCE cruise though.
-
6:30 meet? Do people need to cruise then get to bed in time for prime possum to tuck them in?
-
Tossing up whether to go out tonight or go to the snow tomorrow... What's a CCE cruise?
-
Shitbox car that Nur is, not worth the money (nor any other car from that dealer).
-
Richard, It seems they have stuffed your order up and sent you thin and crispy instead of deep dish... Hope you're getting that fixed up.

Importing A Jap Spec R35
Amaru replied to EAT26's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
You won't get import approval for the vehicle for anything but race/rally only. As above, you cannot do it legally (with the exception of personal import - you live and own one in Japan for at least 12 months then bring it back to Australia with you). Doesn't matter how much dollars worth of bolt ons have been slapped on it, it's still a Nissan R35 GT-R, which is supplied in full volume by Nissan Australia exclusively. -
AFAIK, only Caltex (non Woolworths) and United do E85 currently. There's, in general, no market for it apart from people retuning.
-
E85 is only available at *non* woolworths Caltex outlets - Nicholls and one of the 2 in Kambah are the only non Woolworths branded ones in Canberra. No plans for introduction at Woolworths Caltex outlets any time soon (an immediate family works in the Woolworths head office in Sydney). Edit: and before anyone asks, Woolworths Caltex branded outlets are *not* Caltex, so ringing them wont help much - they are Woolworths Petrol with the fuel supplied by Caltex. Woolworths Petrol has no plans at the moment to introduce E85. The "Star Mart" branded outlets are the Caltex owned/franchised shops and are the only ones that will stock E85 - aside from the 2 listed above, there are no other Caltex owned/franchises outlets in Canberra.

Places To And Not To Fill Up Southside
Amaru replied to Pattey21's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I fill up my GTR and 135i regularly at Calwell and have never had a problem. Claiming contaminated fuel is serious, and most fuel companies will not hesitate turning off stock from that tank and sampling it if they think there is a chance of contamination (read: enough people complain). I suggest you contact the service station and also log a complaint online at http://www.environment.gov.au/atmosphere/fuelquality/complaint.html -
Where to get Skyline Serviced
Amaru replied to r33skylinegtst's topic in Australian Capital Territory
$700 is about right for installation of cams, just had some put in at Autotech Hume and it was $680. -
Spotted (some time ago, just never logged in) a grey R32 GTR that lives 2 houses down from me in Banks, I believe it belongs to anfanee but could be mistaken
