  1. I think GZ knows how much chop JUN has Id have to agree though, it wasnt even as quick as my stocker! Definately come up Andre, trying my hardest to get the radiator back in the car for this. EDIT: And on that note, is anyone keen on staying in Sydney that night? No where extravagent, but I couldnt be assed driving back at 10PM and its a good excuse for a friendly drink fest.
  2. TV2 - Bayside Blue
  3. It was one of only a handful Motorex complied GTR's in America, and is worth money to someone as it is federally legal in 50 states. Since Motorex is out of business, skylines are a thing of the past there, so its definately worth it to someone. Considering your average R33 GTR cost $30-45k over there, you could get it fixed up for a similar overall price.
  4. You will probably recieve a summons to appear at court being charged with driving while on a suspended license. If it is a charge and your found guilty, it will go on your criminal record and they usually double the license suspension time (e.g. if youre on 3 months suspension, they will put an extra 6 months on). Good luck with it.
  5. At work again till midnight, doh!
  6. As above, engine sounds stuffed (well head gasket at least, id say bearings are probably spinning too from the knocking noise you mentioned earlier). Take it to a mechanic and get the thing stripped before you keep jacking up the cost of the rebuild.
  7. Radiators are hard things to do these days
  8. Nismo and Bosch 040 pumps are basically identical... save your cash and get an 040 from RACESPEC on these forums. Also any reason you want the AVC-R? The Blitz SBC-ID and HKS controllers are much better.
  9. Can you bump it back two weeks and ill come along? Should have my radiator replaced by then
  10. If you can wait two weeks till I get paid ill definately take them... I can offer you a $20 deposit? Will even buy you a beer at the autosalon track day thingy at Wakefield if youre heading down Stupid cars sending me broke
  11. Is it setup correctly?
  12. Might come down with pom-poms and all and cheer you guys on since its less than an hour away when they finally chose a date... nothing better than seeing skylines give it to everything else... or suck due to crappy drivers... or just blow up, any of the above options work for me though
  13. Might swing past bout 11ish to see if anyones there... ill be boganing it up in the work hiace

  15. - removed because I was wrong - Either way I am glad you have found happiness. Just give it 2 - 3 years and you will realise needing a car to feel cool and better than everyone else is well, pretty lame... even more so when you smash the car or it gets impounded, and realise everyone was only pretending to think you were cool to get a ride in the car.
  16. Yeah but slow testing times means theyre testing a bad package, which could have an influence on the overall season. If theyre having bad times at the end of testing (due to aero, or engine etc) chances are the problem wont be fixed before the first race
  17. Testing times from earlier today: 1. Alonso - Renault - 1:11.219 2. Button - Honda - 1:11.327 3. M. Schumacher - Ferrari - 1:11.831 4. Montoya - McLaren - 1:11.998 5. Barrichello - Honda - 1:12.062 6. Kovalainen - Renault - 1:12.113 7. Villeneuve - BMW Sauber - 1:12.619 8. Zonta - Toyota - 1:12.660 9. Rossi - Ferrari - 1:12.856 10 Coulthard - save Bull - 1:12.883 11. Wurz - Williams - 1:12.925 12. Paffett - McLaren - 1:12.937 13 Webber - Williams - 1:13.050 14 Trulli - Toyota - 1:13.076 15 Kubica - BMW Sauber - 1:13.332 Noticed Webber and Wurz seem to be falling down the pack compared to a few weeks ago in terms of speed (where they were #1 runners with Renault on the V8 engine). Alonso has been looking pretty well paced through all of the testing sessions, so I wouldnt be suprised to see him on the top again. Only time will tell I guess
  18. How much you want for just the DBA5000's? And they wont fit the standard Nissan callipers Richard, the discs are larger (or I could just be saying this so I get them first... )
  19. Were they REV conrods just out of curiosity?
  20. I didnt think the GTR was ever OBD2 compliant? This is why it was such a pain to import them into America (and Motorex had patented the compliance process to bring it up to OBD2 specs, which is why they were the only cars that could do them). Could be wrong, but pretty sure thats how it was.
  21. Cool so the general consensus is to run the single 044 from the surge tank and split it near the fuel rail for entry at each end. Thanks for all the info
  22. While it may not directly help your issue, make sure you check the real simple things. I had a similar miss, only showed up under high boost. We replaced ignitors, coil packs, spark plugs so many times it wasnt funny. 4 months later we had it on the dyno (because I had been too lazy to get it properly checked) to try and solve the problem when my mechanic noticed under large boost, an injector o-ring was being pushed up slightly... enough to cause a leak and cause the miss. An $0.80 part caused 4 months of pulling things on and off of heartache.
  23. An un molested, straight, non accident damaged one will set you back at least $20,000 in my opinion. Series 1, and ones with molested engines, dodgy body work, severe accident damage thats been fixed up will be a bit cheaper.
  24. We got them locally as a Lexus something-or-other but only with the 2JZ-GE. There are a couple of 2JZ-GTE ones in Australia, a guy had personally imported one from Japan about 2 years ago (was a 1999 model, looks alot better). Was a dark blue colour and used to prowl around ACT, havent seen it for a while. They are awesome though, do the usual mods you would to a Supra and for less than $10k you have a 400kw family car
