For real? we measured what was told to us as a gtr bar and it wouldnt line up properly on a gtst... I retract my previous statement then

The rear bumpers are not the same, the GTR are wider to accomodate the flared rear guards. Virtually no body parts are interchangeable between the two without modification.

Sounds to me like youve got a major vacuum leak somewhere... did you notice what the vacuum was before it died? Its hard to explain, but when starting the car does it sound like it wants to start? Or does it sound like its struggling on a cylinder (e.g crank-crank-crank-choof-crank-crank -- really bad way to explain it, but the cylinder that goes choof sounds extremely sick compared to the rest). If so I'd go and get a compression and leak down test as it sounds like there might be some internal damage. When I blew one of my turbos the car just wouldnt boost and when you tried to bring it onto boost, just pissed out smoke from the exhaust.

Check the spark plug gap is 0.8mm not 1.1mm... other than that, could be old/worn coil packs breaking down under high load... or as said, a fuel issue.

Theres a couple of big hitter GTR's in Canberra... s13drifter had a monster, and when its ack on the road it will be pretty crazy... MYSHY32 has a big T78 on his, the white R32 GTR with gold wheels (he doesnt come on the forums much) has a big single on it, the gunmetal R32 AVO (which the owner decided in his infinite wisdom to upgrade to RH9 )... probably some more I cant remember.

To my knowledge it was purchased locally buy a certain someone who used to own a gunmetal R32 GTR with Avo turboworld stickers down the side of it... EDIT: I could be wrong though, but I know in the last week a white R34 GTR V-Spec II has been added to the Canberra lineup Seems like theyre becoming a bit more common now prices have slipped on them.

Has the car been registered before or is it a fresh import? If it was imported under the 15 year rule, you will need an engineer to sign off on the modifications performed to make it compliant with ADR's (assuming its never been rego'd). Otherwise, you should just be able to get it inspected, get a road worthy and take that into a govt shopfront.

Its basically an R33 GTR with a Stagea body slapped on top... a phatacular wagon with GTR powah Awesome cars. Was heading down towards cooma and had what looked like ski's on the roof... so one would assume it was headed to the snow
