  1. Correct, was a blue skyline wrapped around a pole... hope the driver and any passangers got out ok.
  2. As per Indonesian and Australian laws, you get caught trafficking narcotics internationally and its a case of guilty until proven innocent. Wheres your evidence that shes innocent? All I have seen and heard is her self proclaiming her innocence, a few people said its *possible* it was planted by bagge handlers (but hell everythings possible, its possible I could be the richest man in the world by end of the year), and a convicted Australian who thinks he overheard some guys talking about planting drugs. Evidence shes guilty... she was busted with 4kg of marajuana on her. I know which side wins in the physical evidence side of things...
  3. Integra Automotive in Queanbeyan. Ring them on 62329329 and book your car in to get checked out. When you drop it off, have a chat to Ed
  4. Welcome to the forums Laine... you can refer to me as sir break-a-lot
  5. Spotted lots of GTR's up at CRD, including GZ R33's EDIT: Oh for those who also have seen HPI 5 (I think it was 5), there was an extremely phat customer car sitting at CRD... something along the lines of a white Prime Garage Sil80 (yes, its the real one)
  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASSI   :alcoholic
  7. No we dont. If you are caught trafficking narcotics into Australia, it is guilty until proven innocent.
  8. Just a personal opinion, but I dont see why people think shes not guilty. Besides her "im not guilty" pleas, what hard facts have been shown to proove she is innocent? Bali laws are -exactly- the same as our local laws for drug trafficking. If youre caught its a case of guilty until proven innocent. She had her shot at proving herself innocent and failed miserably. The media has hyped her up as being an innocent victim of something more sinister, however some small facts which were not hyped up in the media (it wouldve ruined her innocent, never done anything bad image) were; - Multiple immediate family members convicted for drug trafficking and usage, weapons related offences etc. - Personal acquantinces of hers have spoken out about her "parties", in which copious amounts of marajuana and cocaine were readily availible, provided by her and her friends. Those two facts make me believe she is guilty, and of course if youre facing a possible death penalty youre going to plead innocent. As far as im concerned she took 4kg of a class 1 drug into a country which rewards you with the death penalty if caught... she got off damn lightly.
  9. So true... on our cruise on the weekend, we were doing some decent pace just before coming into Cooma. A marked red SS police car was going the opposite way to us, and just flashed his lights. We stopped at the start of Cooma to get a drink, and a police car promptly pulls up and says people have rung up and reported us speeding down the highway, and the ss we went past also radioed in and said we were doing a decent pace. The cop basically just said try and keep the speeds down and had a chat with us
  10. That is 100% correct as well. Even if the car is engineered and you carry the papers, any police officer has the power to issue a defect notice for your vehicle for whatever reason they see fit (well, they have to have at least some belief its not meeting an ADR). You can kick and scream as much as you want, but at the bottom line, your engineers certificate isnt worth sh!t to a police officer. So worst case scenario, youre back at RTA getting your ride inspected. All other states, the vehicle authorities will always accept an engineers certificate for its supporting modification. Might interest everyone to know, ACT is the only state in Australia where vehicle inspectors can tell you to shove the engineers certificate up your ass and not accept it. It usually doesnt happen, but there possibility is there. Bottom line is... dont want to be hassled about your ride? Dont own a modified car... simple
  11. I heard stories of the GTS being attacked with a hybrid stencil and paint can
  12. Boooo Microsoft is not network engineer routing/switching is network engineering
  13. I do "network engineering" (read: sit on my ass and download and watch movies/tv shows all day) for a local IT company www.infinite.net.au. They offer web design/hosting/adsl etc.
  14. Crank collar for oil pump drive
  15. When your in NSW, you have to abide by NSW rules and regulations, so your ACT "roadworthyness" counts for shit all. 1. As leech said, probably trying to see if you have gutted the cat. 2. Yep, boost controllers make baby RTA inspectors cry 3. Pod filters are legal in ACT, but not in NSW. Refer to above, youre in NSW so you need to follow NSW rules. As for measuring the height, you need 10cm clearance from the lowest point of the car. If the exhaust is the lowest point, this is where the height will be measured from. Yes they can defect you, and you will need to take it over Dickson and cleared following NSW rules and regulations. If you dont, your rego becomes void in NSW and you are banned from driving your car in NSW until the defect is cleared (meaning your insurance is also void in NSW).
  16. Well I just answered my own question, millenium jade is JW0. Was there another goldish colour? And also if anyone knows the manufacturer of the paint, would be appreciated.
  17. Hi, Im after the colour codes for the following; R34 GTR Champagne Gold R34 GTR Nur Millenium Jade And if anyone knows who makes the paint (e.g Dupont) it would help even more. Thanks
  18. Nah no bling bling Just have to wait and see
  19. Needless to say I wont be out tonite... having an early one anyway to head up to Sydney on saturday to get parts for the car *rubs his hands together*
  20. Haha thanks for the offers. Cars at Ed's and I should have a total of the damage and what needs replacing today, front calliper has taken a fair hit so yeah, looking at upgrading Also should have wheels and front bar this weekend if everything goes to plan... no they dont say "rays" on them anywhere, but they should look good in my opinion... front bar is also subtly different, looks alot better in my opinion too
  21. bump
  22. Im too much of a chicken shit girl to do it ... all the what ifs
  23. Yeah its undriveable, the front drivers side wheel basically wont turn and was dragged on to the tow truck. Otherwise I wouldve chased. Was a white hilux ute with a flat tray, thats about all I can remember, wasnt really taking much notice of it until i saw something come off the back and go kablamo under my car. A thankyou goes out to the people who stopped (who will never read this probably), especially to the guy in the white r33 gtst whod just filled up at calwell servo EDIT: Oh and a big thankyou to ewen too for coming and keeping me company while waiting for the tow truck, help me remove the front bar and driving me home At least I have an excuse to get some new wheels now...
  24. Busted wheels, possibly busted brake callipers (the drivers side front wheel hit the calliper its warped that bad), busted front bar, theres a gap between the bonnet and front drivers side quarter now, exhaust bent... thats what I can see. Its going up on the hoist today so undercarriage can be checked further to see what other damage is done. Ute didnt stop, and if anyones seen those flatbed hilux utes, the number plates are mounted under the tray and are hard enough to see when their lights are working. What topped it off is the ute had no lights on so couldnt see the plate, and he kept driving without stopping. Filled out a police report, but *shrugs* at this stage looks like im going to be quite a few thousand out of pocket because some **** sucking knob jockey decided itd be smart to carry firewood on a flat bed tray with no sides... ****ing idiot.
