  1. I took the gtr up last year and never again after some of the bridges between cooma and jindabyne were -badly- iced over and it almost resulted in a severely bent gtr
  2. Sounds good, Ill look into a few other companies and see whats on offer. After individually pricing things, it looks like a tour is the way to go to keep costs down. So far we have interest from: Nik (Amaru) Andrew (SkyGTRline) Andrew (Terminal) Shaun (race_snooze) Anthony (oscar32) Leigh (leech_) Cassi (skyline_babe5) And now some pictures to motivate people...
  3. HELL YES !!!! Thats looking much better Then no-one has to worry about driving up as well.
  4. Yah im more keen to stay at least one night in town... apparantly the partying goes off down there during the snow season :alcoholic :rave:
  5. Thats pretty much why im posting here Everyone says "yep yep ill come" then it gets closer to the start of the season and everyone starts pulling out. So we've got 4 people interested so far... I might start looking into pricing, and post up some quick estimates.
  6. I know a place in Jindabyne that I can get pretty good rates at, sleeps up to 4 in a room, tv/shower/heater etc, also has common games room, bar, and about a 5 minute walk to the main two areas of jindabyne (nuggets crossing and the other one) where the bars/clubs are. Ill leave it open for a show of interest for now, then in a week or so maybe start organising something if people are interested
  7. Do the Australian thing... pull a sickie Thats cool, thats the kinda feedback I was after... weekend is definately not out of the question
  8. Hey all Well the 2005 snow season is fast approaching, with Tassie turning white and the snow making its way up here over the weekend :headspin: Im pretty damn keen for the snow, either skiing or boarding, and was wondering if there would be any interest in going up for a couple of days by anyone here? Plan maybe something like head up mid week, ski/board, drink copious amounts of alcohol and party on till early hours of the morning (snow bunnies included). If anyone is even mildly interested, raise your hand and we can work something out.
  9. Thanks big R AJ... Personally, I wouldnt repair the car, its been pretty badly smashed and I doubt will ever drive or feel straight again. Wreck it, get some cash and get that supra you always wanted, or a chaser
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=70747 Can probably help you out
  11. I guess you could say he almost spoofd on you? Ahh ok thats it *quits with the lame jokes*
  12. While on this topic, does anyone actually run antilag on their skylines? Im seeing alot of WRX owners putting in Link ECU's with rotational idle/antilag setups and having very good reliability with them (granted, careful monitoring of the compulsary EGT gauge is required) with next to no mechanical failures after 10,000km of driving using antilag often.
  13. Oh yeah forgot to mention I saw SkyGTRline being an interchange bum on Saturday nite hahaha ahh wait a minute... so was i
  14. Check out the link in his signature Our Demo Cars...
  15. Spotted lotsss of Evo 6's, 7's and WRX's making loud bang bang noises heading down towards Tharwa/Tidbinbilla around 7am this morning. Decided to follow them out for a bit of fun
  16. Well I can confirm the car in question is -very- quick, and I have seen it on the dyno making the claimed power. No doubt its stupidly quick and will crack a 10 as long as ljstt can drive and the thing holds together As we talked about a while ago, do some half passes to make sure its getting off the line properly and in decent time, then go for the full pass and get kicked off
  17. I really need to get me a set of these magical plugs
  18. A screamer pipe is a short, unmuffled pipe from the wastegate. They dont run through any mufflers or catalytic converters, so yes they are highly illegal.
  19. 400ps is 394hp which is 294kw... What I know of the N1 engine is stronger engine block (extra webbing), stronger pistons, steel wheel turbos instead of ceramic, higher pressure oil pump, and modified water pump so it doesnt caveat at continuous high rpm (which in turn doesnt make it so crash hot for standard daily driving so ive heard).
  20. yeah im keen for a camera
  21. Do a search on this site, quite a few differences main one being stronger bottom end.
  22. Youre going to pickup underage sl**s at academy?
  23. im down for that saturday
  24. No idea what software youre running but it sounds restrictive... talk to the admin(s) who run your network and tell them to stop being such tightasses.
