  1. Whos heading down and at what time??
  2. From what I have been told the Nismo edition is the N1 before it was actually called a N1 (N1's were based on the V-Spec models, the Nismo is based on a normal model)
  3. Check out this thread for information on what to look for when buying a skyline http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=35129 As for bang-for-buck department, I dare say the fairmont would have had its ass handed to it on a plate by a relatively stock skyline.
  4. Ring Ed at Integra... he has my old one there (I replaced it with chromolly one). It was a bit damaged/worn but should come up fine when machined. Give him a call and see if he still has it and thinks itd be ok, and im more than wailling to do a swap
  5. I have mirrored it at http://gtr.infinite.net.au/lw_gtr_32_servi...vice_manual.zip
  6. Probably wont be out tonite
  7. I am hoping someone can help me. I am looking at buying a car located in Asaka-shi, Saitama prefecture but was hoping someone could translate the following for me; Thanks in advance
  8. Looks the goods You still running 2530's?
  9. Crank Angle Sensor
  10. Do we want to make plans to cruise up in a bunch on Sunday? Say same sort of deal, 8:30 at shell epic and will be at wakefield by 9:30?
  11. Yeah I saw your car parked at Wakefield and wouldve said hi, but had no idea who owned it Looks very clean though
  12. If you had a spare oil cooler laying around in one of your cars I wouldve gone on I was in the white 32 gtr that parked next to you behind the garages in the morning. And just curious, what turbos is that 32 of yours running? It sounds insane
  13. Ooh my first spotted for a long time... where were you? I didnt see any other skylines about... (but then again im blind)
  14. There was 2 GTR's down there entered, one looked like a fully track prepped R32 and was going f#cking quick, and a R33 GTR on white TE-37's... anyone from here? Also spotted a black R32 GTR aus delivered leaving wakefield.
  15. Thats the one -- you can read about it at http://www.200sex.com.au Theres going to be a couple of big hitter cars at the dyno day, should be good :aroused:
  16. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone else is interested in cruising down to Wakefield this Saturday to check out the SAU/RENEW track day going on. If theres some interest, maybe we could meet at the Shell at exhibition park at around 9:00AM for a 9:15 departure?
  17. Is anyone heading down? Ill be going down for a look (not entering though), would be good to meet a few of you guys
  18. Take a look at leewah's car on these forums, has around the same power you are after and has run a 10 second quarter with potential to do 9's, and openly shares the specs of his engine. If you really want an off the shelf engine, Prospec in the UK can arrange to send you a Top Secret built engine with the following specs Cost? A touch under $34,000 plus shipping... yes thats how expensive off the shelf engines are, and you still need to purchase turbo, intercooler, fuel system, suspension etc after you have the above engine in your posession. To my knowledge the largest off the shelf engine mines sell is capable of 600ps. Youre looking at around $28,000 for this, and you need to ship them your existing engine, or get them to purchase on your behalf an N1 block. For the above mentioned prices, you could find a reputable local builder and build something just as good and probably save a bit of coin in the process.
  19. Ill be out this Friday... cold weather, and we all know how skylines love cold weather
  20. I use Motul 300V Chrono 10W40. Its a full synthetic oil and my car seems to love it. It will set you back around $140 - $150 though for enough oil and a filter per change. Cheaper options are Mobil 1 and Castrol Formula R I think it is.
  21. With good reason to be paranoid... besides the possibility of erratic oil pressure readings (which may or may not happen due to dodgy pressure sender units, and which people ignore for the same reason) it takes < 1 second for it to let go and kill the engine completely (just ask s13drifter). From everyone its happened to though, it doesnt really seem to be a problem until 100,000+kms (and some people never have a problem at all).
  22. did you actually get an accurate compression test done on the car?? does it blow smoke when cranking? the only way to adjust the base (idle) timing is via the CAS, so check this and make sure its in the right position for 20 degrees... even still i have heard/seen people advance and retard their CAS stupid amounts and the car still starts (has no down low power, but still runs) so i dont think its the CAS and/or timing, unless the timing belts not on correctly? if you get hold of another factory ecu, run diagnostics on yours and it. if both show up ok, sounds more mechanical than electronic to me (and things like timing are electronically controlled on the rb26).
  23. First time was back in 2001ish in an R33 GTST with front mount, huge exhaust, hi-flow/aftermarket turbo and boost controller. The thing hammered, and I knew I definately had to have a skyline after. About a year later I still didnt have my skyline and went for a ride in an R32 GTR with N1 turbos, exhaust, front mount. That thing scared me sh!tless and 12 months later I had my own R32 GTR sitting in the garage (now running ~330kw at the wheels).
