  1. Wouldnt mind going on Sunday to see dyno finals, unlimited boost pressure this year... yeah baby!!! No-one wants to come with though
  2. Nissan Matic D is Nissan Special Power Steering Fluid. Ill find the bottle if I still have it and take a photo. Its what Nissan reccomend to use, its easily obtainable, its not stupidly expensive so I dont see any reason as to why youd use something else.
  3. The Nissan Special Power Steering Fluid is Nissan Matic D which is their ATF. I got a few litres of it for $20 from Nissan spare parts in Canberra. I cant remember exactly how much it was as it was 12+ months ago now.
  4. They dont squeal, they make a grinding noise on the slots. I have a set of DBA4000's and RB74's and if you brake heavily, they will make a grinding noise as the slot "cuts" into them. I dont know how much dust Ultimates throw, but I cleaned the car yesterday, did a bit of "spirited" braking last night, and the front wheels are covered in dust again... maybe I just notice it more because theyre white. Dont let the above things scare you though, they are an -awesome- pad and I wouldnt run anything else anymore. Small sacrifice to pay (with noise and dust) for the shitloads extra performance they have over the EBC Greenstuff that was in there. EDIT: Oh also with regards to fade, if youre running a good brake fluid then the hotter you get the brakes, the better they keep working.
  5. Dear Richard, Its NYE so I say listen to the boy inside of you. Its only one night after all... On another note, you still have not answered NiKs question on wether you can bring your own drink to the Jerra or not. Sincerely, Dorothy
  6. No-one in Canberra sells then. Ring Mercury Motorsports (www.mecurymotorsports.com.au I think it is) thats who I get mine off. They do a trade style deal, they send you the pads and an express envelope, you send your old pads back (as Race Brakes reuse backing plates to keep costs down). Can I ask why youre after RB74's? They throw a heap of dust, if youve got slotted rotors they make a god awful grinding noise, but if you can live with those two downfalls, once you get some heat into them, they pull up f##king awesome!!!
  7. Oh hell no it aint, I am fully cashed up for a taxi ride home Just curious are you allowed to bring your own bottles into the Jerra? Ive got a bottle of something I -really- want to go drink for drink with you Richard
  8. Hey MYSHY32, Ill be out for a cruise around tomorrow nite. Interested in meeting up somewhere?
  9. Ive got one kicking around somewhere, its a chrome ball (it shat me to tears and ive got a stocker now).. its ugly, and it looks bling bling but its yours if you want it
  10. Cant help with the turbos, but I thought all GTR injectors were 440cc yellow tops and the purples were either RX7 items (commonly used as cheapish upgrade) or Nismo items.
  11. Me and Mark and Ewen will be oot and aboot
  12. Ill probably swing past somewhere along the line
  13. Need another extra for seat for another friend coming, so 4 in total (Me, Ewen, Mark, Fitzy)
  14. Keen to keep my car as far away from summernats as possible this year. Parked it at a friends units across from EPIC (opposite Shell) and I come back to find someone has stuffed the door handles full of vaseline.... thanks you f##king pricks!!!
  15. Count me in, will definately be there (and id say reserve a seat for ewen and mark too - so 3 in total )
  16. Clothes and money, the usual. Asked Santa for a HKS GT2835R turbo kit, but he didnt deliver
  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MARK, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MARKKKKKK!!!! See you later this arvo to commence 'Marks Birthday Drinking v23.0'
  18. Spotted what wouldve been in excess of a 600kw GTR out and about last night. Also had a dog box of some sorts judging from the whining it was making when it was driving round. Had the biggest f**king turbo I have ever seen in my life too. Apparantly running 41psi on a T51R so you know its going to be making some -serious- numbers.
  19. Broulee is meant to be -huge- this year... im even contemplating going down, but then ill miss the day after bbq if it happens
  20. It must be the ignitor (dont listen to me, internal joke for those that have seen the busted GTR's at Eds over ther past few weeks )
  21. Still not 100% sure what im doing on NYE... recovery party definately sounds the go but. Also, even though trivia is finished, I hope some of you are still coming for some drinks/food next Tuesday... our faithful mechanic Ed is keen to come (and he wont be working so he will actually make it this time ) so hopefully see some of you there then.
  22. We were parked next to the mustang club, so you were in the right place but we had proceeded to Jerra pub by then
  23. Make sure your power steer fluid is up to level. Other than that, search the forums to find out how to put the car into HICAS diagnostics mode (make sure the steering wheel is straight) and if theres anything wrong it will flash an error code at you, which will help you determine where the problem is. Also on another note, make sure tyres profiles are the same size on all 4 corners of the car, or else the ATTESA will start to screw up
  24. I would just like to say that no drinner and like alot of drinks in 90 mins or so is a bad combination...
  25. http://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0...255E421,00.html R.I.P
