  1. I hate you all
  2. Jayce lied to us... burn him at the steak!!! :flamed:
  3. Yep it is, Jerry should have plenty of it over at J-Racing. Awesome oil, never going back to anything else again
  4. If you can stretch your budget, Motul 300V Chrono is f@#king awesome!!! But at $45 for 2L bottles (of which you need 3) it does get a bit pricey.
  5. What teh crap is so funny? Im just quoting directly from my fancy GTR backwards Japanese book
  6. J-Racing carrys the full range of Motul oils. As for redline, I couldnt find any locally (even rare spares didnt have any) so ended up ordering it off the net.
  7. You pay the $400 or so to get it checked out fully by a competent workshop around where he lives, or at least get NRMA to do compression test on it.
  8. With the problems he has listed on the car (failed airflow meter, rebuilt clutch master cylinder, exhaust leak, worn drivers seat) its more consistent with a 80 - 100,000km car in my opinion. But 99.8% of cars are wound back in Japan so that counts for dick. See if you can get more photos from him, including engine bay pics and interior pics. As its already in AU, also spot the $400 or so to get it fully checked out before you buy it. $400 is some cheap insurance to make sure youre not buying a lemon. All in all it looks good, and its still got the stock exhaust!!! Something I have never seen before. Get it checked out, if its all a-ok (there will probably be a few problems with cars that age) go for it
  9. Yep, the only thing I can suggest is if its already in Australia, get it taken to a reputable mechanic for a check over and compression test. Get it fully checked out as all the steering and suspension components can cost a damn fortune if they need replacing etc. If its not already in Australia, well good luck
  10. Merry Christmukkah.... ahh I watched too much OC this year
  11. There were some differences throughout the series, have a search through the forums, I cant remember them all off the top of my head. EDIT: Below are the changes I can easily find 21/8/1989: R32 GTR released 22/2/1990: R32 GTR Nismo (Grp A base) released. No aircon, no audio, no abs and no rear wiper. Steel wheeled turbos not ceramic 7/1991: R32 GTR N1 released. Almost same as Nismo base but ceramic turbos and non projector headlight 20/8/1991: Minor change to production. Weight increased by 50kg due to side intrusion bars being installed from factory. Projector headlights improved. I am pretty sure there were some other changes around this time (to do with trim etc) but cannot find it. 2/1992: R32 GTR N1 revised with steel wheel turbos. 3/2/1993: Minor change to production. Clutch system changed from push type to pull type. Missions are improved.
  12. dont be stupid it doesnt get cold here
  13. Integra Automotive in lanyon drive in queanbeyan (at the mobil servo just past the fixed speed camera after jerra). Or you can call on 62329329 Im sure he would be relieved to just do a normal service instead of working on mine and sinistas car, hes probably sick to death of both of them by now
  14. Theres no problems with a full proper carbon fibre bonnet (as is found as factory equipment on the R34 GTR V-Spec II and Nur's). The problem is the copies that most places sell (around the $1000 mark) are not 100% carbon fibre bonnets, they are actually fibreglass with carbon fibre weave layed and glued on over the top. In accidents its known that the bonnet will do one of two things, (a) smash into a million pieces or (B) not smash and come straight back through the windscreen. The bonnets do not bend in a frontal impact as required by ADR's. A genuine carbon fibre bonnet itself is pretty "doughy" and bends. Thats the way it is in ACT anyways...
  15. spotted shell going to work
  16. I was going to edit my post and say "but most Canberra shops are a rip off anyway" but ill just post again Be wary also, rumor going around is Falken have stopped production of their motorsport tyres (the Azenis range, including ST115, ST215, RS-V04 etc). Tempe couldnt get me any Azenis in the size I needed, and another place also confirmed Falken has "temporarily" ceased production. But if they have them, its usually $60 or so for delivery down by overnight courier... awesome service
  17. Check and see if the catalytic converter has collapsed in on itself, otherwise maybe a boost leak of some sort?
  18. Think youre going to be in for a bit of a shock. Most local tyre places for ST115 quoted me $440ish per tyre for 255/40/17 (I have 17x9's).
  19. Getting more goodies put in and fixed up 100% once and for all
  20. On the drivers side of the car near the boost solenoid is a vacuum line with a yellow marking around it. Inside there is a copper/brass boost restrictor. If you remove that you will run ~1bar.
  21. Haha thanks guys, I got the petrol situation sorted (woohoo!) ... butttt the car is at Ed's for an indefinate amount of time so you wont be seeing it around for a while (doh!).
  22. If we meet you in weetangera then yeah you can make it Ill drive to work tomorrow morning if its not raining, but need to sort this petrol situation... doh! why couldnt it be on pay day (thursday )
  23. I might come past tonite and say hi depending on weather
