  1. I had a tomei and jun one side by side... ended up going the jun as the 'doors' are hinged metal not rubber and the jun looked like it allowed more flow into the 'trapped area' (the doors were physically larger). Also with the jun baffles, it retains the stock 'oil sump cover' that goes over the sump. This has specific cuts and galleries in it so the oil flicking off the crankshaft and dribbling down will 'recirculate' back into the sump. The tomei kit replaces this cover with its own which is completely closed.
  2. http://www.greenline.jp http://www.nengun.com They are in Japan and ship to Australia.
  3. Yep... its the tomei baffle to be precise (or looks like it with the rubber doors). Theres another piece that sits over the top of it.
  4. Good to hear something positive about evo for a change. Around a year ago they robbed me blind and f*cked me over so thats where my bad experiance comes from. I get everything done by Ed at Integra Automotive. Hes recently bought alot of equipment to help him with tuning, and can do either road tunes or dyno tunes and is doing very good jobs for me and alot of other skyline owners. He has good experiance with Power FC's and their air/fuel mapping is similar to the AFC so I dont think itd be too much of a problem for him.
  5. most tyre shops will fit them for $5 - $10 a wheel.

  13. Zeix are crap... I had a set on the GTR and they were useless. The ST115 went really good on Ewens car, had awesome grip, and as said, he has done some pretty spirited driving Just ring around a few places, it might even be worth a trip to Tempe to save money..
  14. Ed can get tyres, he gets them through a guy in Bathurst for -really- good prices and they get delivered every Tuesday (he has a tyre fitter too). Id reccomend the Falken ST-115. They have lasted around 30,000kms (i think) on ewens with some pretty spirited driving, and awesome grip in the wet and dry.
  15. Ahaha you just reminded me about the falcon at calwell shops another priceless incident although you egged on that situation quite a bit
  16. On a different note to most of the questions in here, how much is exhaust noise increased be? I take it this is on idle and while driving?
  17. lol reminds me of an incident we had on that very same road hey ewen Theres some dickwads out there man, one guy wanted my blood on that road and I had to resort to some pretty stupid shit to get away from him Good to hear youre ok though!
  18. Hey Phil Not good man Hope you get it sorted out soon, and im crossing my fingers for you its not the dreaded spun big end bearings problem, but not sounding too good. Nik
  19. what food do they have? meant to be going to j-racing track day but honestly couldnt be bothered... would much rather go for a simple leisurely cruise.
  20. pnblight thanks for that, they were put in and found out the clearances were all wrong for the camshaft, im putting that down to general wear and tear on the engine. The Alchemist, thanks for the info, exactly what I was after

  22. Pulled out of my driveway this morning and had a silver r33 gtst series 2 behind me, also at Calwell high school (voting) was a green 4 door r33
  23. I could be wrong but from everything I have read the Nur is an N1 with the 'creature comforts' of a normal model, e.g aircon, sound deadening, stereo.
  24. My pistons came from Rocket and they showed up promptly at a good price too. Also spoke to them on the phone on several occasions and were very helpful. Gets an A+ from me.
