i trust all my stuff to ed, so this would be no different

sounds good... any rough ideas on dates yet? im wanting to go to melbourne some time this year, maybe i could coincidentally plan it around the dates this is on and drop past for a look and put some faces to names of people off the forum

will take you for a ride in mine tonite, and thats on a conservative tune of 14psi and that will give you an indication of what the 2530's are like (and mines built as a daily) But I also wouldnt mind seeing a comparison of all the above mentioned turbos squished into one thread (e.g this one)

Yeah it runs fine accelerating and top end (it feels a bit choked top end but im putting that down to my exhaust which is being replaced saturday) just as DAN00H said, hunts for idle when i come to a stop. Vacuum according to the AVC-R seems to be ok, and it doesnt jump around alot when off throttle of stopped, but I will check all vacuum lines etc this weekend.

Well the car has had atmo bov's (blitz supersonic dd's) since I bought it, and it used to run fine without a problem... just in that weekend something seems to have changed, and its never run properly on decelleration since...

Hi all, I seem to be having some idle problems with my car, its a 1992 R32 GTR and I cant seem to find out what. Basically any time im slowing down to a stop, the idle drops to around 600rpm, sounds like its about to die, all the electrics dim quickly, and then it slowly scavanges around to find the right idle (it normally idles at just under 1000rpm so when i slow down it does 600rpm -> 700rpm -> 600rpm -> 800rpm -> 700rpm -> 900rpm -> 800rpm -> 1000rpm). It also occasionally stalls if it cant pull the idle back up. This only started happening after I didnt drive the car for 3 days straight (it usually gets started every second day at least). The car has a power fc, and in the sensor checks it reports one of the 02 sensors as being 0.02v (dead) but it has always been like this, and nothing has changed in the period of time before it was running fine, and after it started playing up. Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated.

Sorry forgot to mention its got ARP bolts :Oops: Basically engine has been rebuilt, standard crankshaft polished and balanced, shot peened rods with arp 2000 bolts, arias .5mm overbore forged pistons... not after a monster, more so a fast track car... it has Tomei sump baffles, but am looking at swapping this for Trust extended sump and baffles (intend to do a bit of track work with it) which brings me to my next question... is it overly difficult to change sumps with the engine still in the car?

Ok well ill add to this... how much power roughly would shot peened rods hold? Basically ive been told thats the weakest link in my engine rebuild, although im only after 300 - 350kw at all wheels.

Hey all, Since a few of us had nothing to do tomorrow (Monday 14th) were going to have a BBQ out at the cotter. Haha fair enough, well Ed is pretty cool he doesnt see things and go "oh modified car, i dont want anything to do with it", but if there is any illegal things he will fail you, hes not dodgy On that note though, he certainly does love his performance cars, and he is now the only person I take mine to for anything.

Ive been looking for one for the past few weeks as I need to check out the tyre placard on one... any chance I can meet you tonite/friday night/saturday day somewhere to check it out? My rego runs out on saturday due to this damn placard issue so yeah if i could check it out before then I owe you a beer or something

Call Ed at Integra Automotive in Queanbeyan (at the Ampol Service Station on Lanyon Drive) and tell him Nik sent you. Im not sure if he can do nsw rego checks there (pink slips arnt they?) but its worth a try, and if not he will tell you someone who can.

i like what the other regions do, havin pizza nites and stuff. Im keen on the idea of maybe going to la porchetta one nite, grab some food, have some drinks, and its warm outside there as they have outdoor heaters. Me Aurora Ash and Contempt met up a few months back and went to gusses cafe and it was good, so would be good to do it again soon and have more people along The cotter idea is good too, aurora knows im always mad keen for some bbq

Im not taking his defence, but how people drive by themselves and then with other people in the car is usually *very* different. For example, with any family in the car, I drive very cautiously and never do anything stupid. However when by myself or with friends in the car, I drive like a ****wit... Aurora can back me up on that haha Anyways, irregardless, what the falcon driver did was plain wrong getting out of the car and yelling at her.
