  1. I think hes implying youre a bandwidth whore
  2. And would you still charge $79.00 per year for a site of this size? I mean your ad did say unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited email accounts, and as far as department of fair trading would be concerned, you advertised this deal, so you have to be able to provide it to me for that price, irregardless how much space/bandwidth I use. Im not trying to be a smart ass, but id put up some terms and conditions with a clause with something along the lines of "if your site uses more than x resources, we reserve the right to move you to a higher rate plan". I work for an ISP/webhosting/colocation company, and know the ins and outs and what people will try and milk you on, so im just trying to give you some advice to save your ass when the inevitable leechers and resource abusers find out about your offer (and send you broke) Anyways all that aside, good luck, for us normal people without massive requirements, it certainly is an attractive deal.
  3. Spotted shell again going into the work driveway
  4. Im sure a site as big as SAU would rape the living s#@t out of your server (database wise) so id be careful who you offer unlimited too, just dont want another startup going broke
  5. spotted shell going into the work driveway...
  6. Well I guess I will be the first to make a negative comment about nengun. I ordered a set of 700cc Sard injectors on the basis that I was told they would arrive within 5 - 10 working days from the day I order them. So I placed the order and its now 4 weeks later and I have no injectors (yes I paid for them) and nengun have one pretty pissed off customer considering i was told 5 - 10 days, and that was the only reason I ordered them. And I know for a fact they havnt even been shipped yet, as I try to use the EMS tracking number, and it doesnt exist.
  7. Might be a long shot, but was wondering if anyone on the forums would be able to do me a favour. Could you check your tyre placard (vspec and vspec 2 owners only please ) and give me the ratings on it? It should have three ratings e.g on the standard R32 GTR it reads 225/50R16 92V | 2.3 | 2.3 205/55R16 88V | 2.2 | 2.2 205/55R16 89V | 4.2 | 4.2 If anyone could get me these numbers off a vspec placard it would be most appreciated.
  8. For those interested, Ed left Tez in Mawson the other day and is now working out at Integra Automotive in Queanbeyan. Its the workshop at the Ampol service station on Lanyon Drive, so anyone that has used him before and knows how good he is, and anyone needing any mechanical work, go out and support him
  9. Ill keep my mouth shut on what is/isnt done to it, but it is a very quick car, and is the last of the last 1994 models and in immaculate condition... and no its not stirlos
  10. The Nissan spare parts place in Canberra have told me they can get the N1 parts and anything Nismo from Japan. Maybe try your local Nissan spare parts place? Be prepared to pay alot of $$ for it though if you do get it through Nissan.
  11. yeah thats a friends GTR, doesnt visit the forums much I dont think... my car doesnt see the outside world much anymore That car is what inspired me to finally get off my arse and get a GTR Very quick car, probably one of the best GTR's I have seen.
  12. From memory, I think Viva Garage in Adelaide can get them - www.vivagarage.com
  13. if my f@#king injectors decide to showup anytime soon ill definately be there
  14. For a gtst its officially meant to be 92db at 4900rpm from what I read last, but most places will just say 90db at 3500rpm.
  15. Ive heard rumors the 6 speed Getrag in the GTR is almost identical to the Supra Getrag box, witht he addition of a transfer case. I dont know how true this is or not, maybe see if you can find out, and then see if any of the supra guys know where to get bits from?
  16. Autobarn are distributors for genuine Veilside products in Australia.... theyre far from cheap however (around 12 months ago, the full Vielside combat kit for the Supra was in excess of $12,000).
  17. The AVC-R is actually down towards the unreliable side of the scale as it is only controlled by a single solenoid. The Trust Profec B II and Blitz SBC use a dual solenoid and can control boost a bit better, but the best money can buy you is the HKS EVC Type 5 which uses a stepper motor. But... then again these big differences only start coming into play when you hit around 14psi or higher.
  18. spotted at ali baba erindale red r31 with SAU stickers and obviously an rb20/25det... sounded sweet as
  19. Ed at Tez Automotive in Mawson, tell him Nik sent you and he should look after you
  20. I have a brilliant motto... no-one drivers my car, even my mum
  21. white 1992 r32 gtr but seems to have all the specs of the 1994 model (pull type clutch, electronic hicas pump in rear of car instead of hydraulic in engine bay etc)...rebuilt engine (forged pistons, rods, port + polishing etc), hks 2530's, exhaust, power fc and my favourite, authentic japanese weld marks under the trim in the car from what appears to have been a hardcore roll cage once installed in the car
  22. im a good 6'5 with an r32 gtr and fit in with no problems without being burwood style... but the gtr seat is basically sitting on the floor of the car so it would have extra room over the gtst... when sitting in the car ive got maybe almost an inch between the roof and my head... havnt tried sitting in it with a helmet on yet... maybe look into getting some gtr seat rails and seats?
  23. $1600 is a reasonable price for the power fc and hc, you could possibly pick it up cheaper if you waited and searched around, but youd only save a few hundred $$ so depends if you want it now or not I guess. As for tuning, had bad experiances with Evo. They just added a hell of alot of timing, and didnt do much else, and pushed the car to its absolute limits, which isnt meant to be done (a good tuner will tune it to 90% potential to compensate for varying weather conditions, different fuels etc). I was impressed by the tuners knowledge, and I have been told hed like to spend more time tuning the cars, but the management push him to just do a quick job, get a dyno figure the customer will be happy with, and thats it. Jakes Performance in Mitchell is meant to be good, but I have never used or talked to him, so cant comment. Ed from Tez Automotive in Mawson has a friend that can do road tunes (in my opinion its worthwhile getting a dyno tune, then a road tune, as you will be driving the car on the road not on a dyno ) and I have used him and cant reccomend him enough. He hooked up all these little fancy gadgets to his laptop and to the engine, and after taking it for a run, came back and I sat down with him, and he explained and showed me on the laptop how the car was running, what it was doing where, and how it could be improved. He gets my big thumbs up. I have also heard these guys will be involved with a new company starting soon thats installing a 4WD dyno dynamics dyno, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that one Thats all I can comment on in ACT, in Sydney, id reccomend Hills Motorsports. They tuned my car before I picked it up from Sydney and did an *awesome* job. He charges around $600 for a full tune from the base map, but as said he did a brilliant job with my car. Theres also Croydon Auto Sports in Sydney who are an Apexi Power Excel dealer and have the Apexi laptop software (not the fc logit) and have heard nothing but good stories from people who have had their car tuned there. They are a bit more expensive, but their reputation speaks for themself (look at GTR700 and the other myriad of high performance GTR's that have come out of their workshop). Hope some of this helps
  24. spotted aurora driving a white liberty
  25. It happens to all of us mate, my condolences go out to you. Ive had almost a similar thing happen to me, so yeah as said it happens to all of us. Barret Bros in Fyshwick are reasonably good panel beaters, along with David Smash Repairs out in Queanbeyan (have had experiance with both in previous/families cars).
