Right, i really really like this kit. I think it looks awesome! If anyone knows of a place in Aus that might be selling it yet (its relatively new) let me know. Im pretty sure it not hee yet. The 044 fit intank? Any difference between gtr and gts fuel tanks? Coz i realy really dont want to go external, but ive heard that the 044 is external only?

Just from playing it by ear, lots of you guys seem to be always being spotted in tuggas area etc. Leading me to believe that a large portion of Canberra skylines seem to be lurking down in the south (North cooma heheheheh) So this thread is to put the theory to the test. Start a tally..... Queanbeyan - 1 Weston - Tuggas - Belco - Gungahlin - North Side (Dickson etc) - Kingston/manuka - Woden - other places i missed/ didnt mention...add em to the list. Just copy the zone list, add a number and pass it down the thread.... Cheers

Snow/Hold mode. Makes you take off in 2nd, limits revs to a max of 4000rpm Before the change to the next gear. Power - Allows the engine to rev out in all gears cleanly to redline if asked to before next gear change. For when you are driving enthusiasticly. Also if you stomp it and its not in poswer mode, it may decide to go into powr mode anyway. You can also quite easily manulay shift down with this auto box, and hold a gear through coners/roundabouts etc for maintaining better power/revs and not have it changeing up mid corner! (be warey)

About 2 issues ago HPI mag did a DIY install guide on these for a R32. Its not very hard. Just get local suspension shop to do final adjustments PS - is the caber top adjustment the only difference between the two models, other than that they are same? They lok diferent in pics. Cheers

Yeah think i might "notify" them of there machine, and then bite the bullet and pay out the $$ for a professional steam clean/interior detail.

*GTR ones are cheap, *its hard to get a good finish with paint,(and im lazy) *gtr came with black, if the paint still on after some 15yrs it must be decent quality, *there are mixed opinions about the heat absorbtion of black intercoolers, many a debate about wether they are good or bad. *I know a GTR one is decent quality, if i buy a silver one i will skimp and by a dodgy hybrid knock off......lol

Its easy enough to hit the black with paint stripper and cut it back to metal, many have done before. many will continue to do. I personly plan to buy a black GTR cooler, so no one can tell whats there Of cause this is some time away, im stil collecting other various items ATM

The interior isnt that bad, i just was so pleased with my self with a sucessful change over from stock gts to complete gtr that i thought i would top it all off with a nice lil stema clean........ Must be, coz this was terrible, did everything but clean, i now have water marks all over the seats

Could be half the problem, they dont give a toss when it comes to insurance jobs. My mum had her car repaired by a certain repairer in Queanbeyan (pm if you want a name) and we had to take it back coz many parts were missing, like the door hinge that stops the door from just flying open at will, various interior parts, the seatbelt wasnt joined etc etc etc...... I have had a recent good experience with a smash repairer whom i plan to take my car to from now on (hopefully it wont be a regular occurance/ever!). Was 1/3rd the price of another repairer i asked. I couldnt believe it. The price dropped 1/3rd in the space of 5mins all by taking a drive around the corner.

Who do you complain to its all coin operated unmaned? I now have water marks/stains around the edges of the seats. And all i wanted to do was put a nice finsihing touch on a sucesful install of my full GTR interior Im planning on lodging a complaintive letter.

You can get third party fire and theft to an agreed value. Ie i have mine set at 10k, then got third party property aswell. And as a bonus if i get in an accident and im 100% not at fault then i get my money for that aswell..... So basicly im not covered for being a bad driver, other than that im all sweet. Grand total of just under $600 per yr. I got this with 0yrs driving experience when i was 17yrs old. 2yrs from that i still have this policy. I was quoted the exact same price for a turbo 180sx (which i almost purchased) but the sale fell through and i ended up with my NA skyline.

Yeah that is almost a good idea leech_ has there 22k plus what you could get in selling off all the parts (i think front cut is worth over 6k)....starts getting close to the territory of buying another one......all interior bits, doors, wheels etc etc.....all the bits would stack the $$ up pretty quickly towards a new one. Such a hard decision to make, glad its not me. *touch wood*
