So how do you change from side feed to top feed? How much does it cost to fabricate a fuel rail and can you use the rail of an R32 RB25 (as this top feed)

I heard an engineer who makes manifolds say he thought the chinese manifolds are quite decent and any problems of cracking could be solved by putting flex piping of some sort soon after the turbo outlet to provide some resistance against the movt of the entire exhaust sytem thats hanging off them. Makes sense to me.

Well in Civic tonight.....parked infront of a stock grey R33 s1.....out the fornt of Mombasa was a White R33, low, FMIC, beasty....across the road was Cons Maroon R33 monster. As i left civic up near the canberra theatre area another white R33 with FMIC, lowered....possibly same as the first one i mentioned. Not a bad Friday night.....

Well how do i tell the difference betwen a series one and series two head. I just bought an incomplete Rb25/30 (for a steal i might add) and i know very little about what head is there, i dont wanna go buying the wrong bits to complete the head. Cheers Geordie

THats weird coz i just asked a guy if he had an ignitor and he said yes but for series 2 only??? I got an enigne here i just dunno whether the head is form series 2 or series 1, in which case i would or wouldnt need an ignitor? Weird

For Rb25...... Firstly is there a difference between series one and series two coilpack ignitor? secondly, if so, how do i tell the difference between a series 2 and series one head? Cheers Geordie

Yes but he hasnt got the 48k, finance compnays wont give him anoth 10k to play with, they will give him enough for the car and thats it. Prolly closer to 4-5k on insuarance best to get that quote before you get the car. Shannons, Famous are prolly best bet......mind you, my mates GF is our age and looking at getting R32 GTR and insurance was a bit under 3k, not as expensive a vehicle of cause. But when you talking insurance, age and experience have just as high a bearing (if not higher) than the total cost, and we talking about a 15k diffence in price to.

You can if you rebuild it with turbo pistons (drops the compression ratio)

I was sitting in the servo one day and an officer was filling his bike up infront of me. My mates phone rang (whilst i was in the car and he was inside paying, not filling) and the cop points at me with a stern look on his face and does this whole hang up the phone mime action. I did it coz i didnt want to draw any unessasary attention to my mates line (slammed big time)..... Bloody made me laugh when i looked at the "TIGHT" bike pants the officer was wearing hehehehe
