It was theoretical question, i couldn't justify putting a 1k plenum on my N/A either as it would be better spent on my GTR. I was just curious on ppls opinions on how much of a difference it would make as i stated above. The clubman with the Rb25de was pulling 148kw at the rollers with plenum, extractors and computer....
In a recent copy of zoom i saw a clubman wth the rb25de and its mods were custom extractors, custom plenum and computer.
I was just wondering if anyone has done anything different to their plenum in the quest for power.
Even more so if gains could be made using aftermarket plenum options such as the Greddy one with a 80mm throttle body etc? (a large outlay for minimal gain i would imagine).
BTW the car was pulling 148kw@wheels in the article, And the tuning shop that fitted/tuned the computer is local for me
Anyone have one/have access to one that i could borrow/hire(cash or beer) for a day or two? For RB clutch of course, push type. So r32/r33gts, r32gtr etc.

Front bar - 400 odd
rear guards - get fibreglass overlay, about 1k fitted by carmate (from memory)
bonnet - buy one with latch for 500ish
then you left with sourcing front guards if you can be stuffed.

Yeah, you may also try and source s15 sr20det injectors also, these are 480cc (more than the 440cc gtr) and are side feed and would suit your purpose.
Another plenum sugestion (although useless as you have one anywho) was the blitz adapter plate for gtr plenum, then you get 6 throttle bodys
Nah Just coupe, although when i first saw it i thought it was a 4door(as mentioned above, i was vege state hehe), was on hindmarsh drive when it overtook me, it went through to fyshwick and i turned off to qbn
I just got followed/overtaken buy two tone silver/grey R33. I would of waved but i was in a bit of a vege state on my way home. Very big saturday night/sunday morning .
Find out about a flow coat. Heavy buff, then redo the gloss. Brightens up the factory colour. Was covered in topic in the general section of the forums, something tittled "cheap respray" or something along those lines.
Really depends on the extent of modification you plan on taking out. The r32 computer is fairly common to be remaped as it is easy to do (apparently) in comparison to the r33 computer.
If you go full plug n play, PFC or Wolf3d are prolly best options.
I once heard as a rule of thumb 20% of your build budget should go into computer and tuning.
