  6. Great turn out for everyone, I think the organisers did a fantastic job. It was really good to see alot of workshops who supported the event. I was a little dissapointed to see all the 32GTR's down the back considering it was the 20th anniversary of the GTR. As for the Idiots who seem to think they are "fully sick" i'm sure they were reported to the police and no one thinks big of you. Fantastic turnout of some great cars! Congrats to TIMMAH for the wiener of the best Volvo. How the hell did an Audi get best exterior???!?!?!?! Thanks to all the volunteers for the day you did such a great job. xoxo DIF

  11. I seem to hear more about import owners then aussie crap owners doing stuipid shit. I own both a Holden and Ford ATM. Fact of the matter is. You put any idiot in a car they are going to do damage whether its a skyline, commodore, excel or tarago.
  12. Slips have gone up twice in the past couple of years I think.. All because of that sophie delenrzo (sp?) kid.
  13. Chubbeh I think that's just maybe the bikes? The Car CTP's are normally pretty good except if you have had an accident in the last what 3-5 years?
  14. Correct Terry, Shannons only offer Greenslips to policy holders.
  15. Spotted XX34XX on beecroft road beecroft yesterday afternoon..
  16. Just to let you know on this one, If the insurance company is obviously trying to recover off your mate and if they actually have substancial evidence that he is at fault they have right to take legal action against him in court which could actually make him bankrupt.. It's not something that someone should get into at such a young age. You're mate is an idiot. That's what insurance is for. BTW every insurance accident circumstances would be different. I don't know why anyone would listen to anything people say on the forums as they may not be qualified to give you advice on these things. That's why there are sectors as you like who are qualified professionals who can give you the right advice you need.
  17. I would say the best way to go about it is to ring up there recovery department. Explain how you were going to settle outside the insurance claim from the start. The hard part will be proving that you had or were going to. So if you had a copy of the original quote or any other documents that would help. Mention that he told you that he was going to have additional private work done. They will have to provide you with a proof of loss. It should have the assessment report included but just ask them. The assessment report would have to be consistant with both version of diagrams and accident description. Have you done an accident descripton and diagram for them is the question. From what it sounds from what you have said about the accident. If you were reversing out of a carspace or pretty much anywhere you have a duty of care so you would most likey be liable for damages. As I said I think the best way to go about it is to ring up the Insurance ombudsman. They would be the best people as they are more qualified to give you advice on the situation and give you an idea wheather you would be held at fault or if you have a chance to challenge the situation.
  18. Ask them to send you proof of loss. It's wouldny be up to the drivers to determin liability it's up to the insurance company whether they can prove who's at fault and if you are to challenge, that's when you will need to bring your legal representative in or just for some advice I would ring up the insurance ombudsman. It's more than likely caused the damage from the accident because you never really know what had happened to the car untill you have pulled it apart.. An accident can put stress on other parts of the car..
  19. Definatly have to do Asakusa the shopping there in the little markets at the temple is great.. Great food in Ginza. Have to check out the model shops in Akihabra.. I bought 2 Group A's for half the price back in aus. The electronics stuff arent too great price wise. Theres not a greal deal in difference. But you will see some great stuff.. Check out Bic Camera while you are there they do duty Free and you will get the song stuck in your head.. and have lunch at MOS burger.. yum yum!!! So far I'm prefering Tokyo of my Trip but I have seen quite some good cars here in Osaka today. There's a nice NUR sitting downstairs in our hotel.. *drools* and saw a R35 down a few suburbs over

  23. I was actually warned about that last night buy a friend I'm staying in Akasaka so I'm a bit worried now :S Ah.. I'm staying in one with a western bed. I don't think I could cope sleeping on tatamis because of my back Holy crap that's really bad Aaron! I guess as a girl your a bit more cautious about your drinks and you always watch the people pour them. Never leave them unattended. I checked out "The B" but they didn't have any twin share accommo unless you wanted 2 singles.. So I booked in Akasaka not far from the grand prince.
  24. That would most likely be deathstar prices.. Yuck I refuse to fly with them.
