The Ryokan i'm staying at isn't too bad for the price. I think it's about 22000Yen per night. including breakfast. Not sure how far away the closest onsen is but it's something I definatly have to visit..

Wow that place is massive! I love shopping but I won't have much money when I go over, I spent most of it on the accomodation So I'll have to contain myself around shops. I'm staying at the Ramada Osaka Hotel, not sure how far away that is from Vista Grande. But I wouldn't mind taking a trip to the sky deck. It looks nice. I'm staying 2 nights in Kyoto at a Ryokan and a full day tour but I'm not sure if that covers the bamboo forest. We might try and take a look if we don't get lost. But I know it covers the rest of the sites around Kyoto. I can't believe you were lugging 40kgs all around Japan, you would have to be on crack! I've got 1 suitcase with my travel backpack packed in there already so far it's only 14kgs. I've got a free shipping too so I plan on shoving everything heavy and my suitcase onto the boat and taking the lighter things back with me. And woooo!!! It's hump day which means I leave in 3 days.. Why won't the week hurry up
