  1. Aw, Jeff Come stay the night.. Pwease..
  2. They are saying it's going to be fine weather *fingers crossed*
  3. BARGIN! I sold my spare one that didn't fit for $60
  4. I don't feel like I need to be pressured to liking anyone. I hadn't had an issue in the thread. I was just stating that you were the only one who seemed to have a problem about having a joke about hired helments. We aren't laughing or paying or pawning on anyone. It's the internet Jess, it will always be childish. It gives people time to relax from work and have a good laugh instead of always being so boring and serious.
  5. I don't see any problems Jess..
  6. You could always do like a toyko style theme. Aka Godzilla!
  7. Haha steveo - good times.. Those words have never been used in one sentence before.
  8. Yea wasn't too bad. This was stock computer now I'm not too sure. I haven't been out in a year!
  9. Yea the local cops are a bit funny. There not impressed with some of the people who go out on the tracks. a 20L jerry can will do you fine.
  10. Hey Paul. We are looking into extra accommodation for anyone else who is interested.
  11. Well Steveo. At least you can say all that patience has paid of. It pays to spend a little bit more money on the best quality work and really get the best out of the end results. It's good you finally have her just the way you planned. I am very happy for you. And if you aren't happy I'm going to kick you for complaining!
  12. Fuel is a part of life. With the petrol price rising we all have to deal with it. It's a 1/4 tank to get down there from the start of the M5 a full day on the track in my car takes up another 1/4 full day in the GTR is 1/2 tank. I think people have worked out the cost. We aren't trying to scare them off we want more inexperienced people to come to our events That's what we are all about. This year is looking great with 2 groups full of people who have never hit the track before. I don't see any in house jokes in the thread. We don't have anything against anyone. You're the only one who seems to think otherwise. Now enough of that. Only a couple more days everyone! Get your excited pants on! *Grabs pirate hat out*
  13. Yes we welcome anyone who wants to volunteer. I don't think it would really matter but it's going to get dirty if so. Most people know the costs involved. That's why they usually save the day or take so long in getting the car ready. It's called dedication to the sport and the love of motorcars. New brake pads, gloves and race boots aren't necessary items. You're the only one who seems to be stiring people up here Jess. We are just having a laugh about the hired helmets. Most people usually borrow helmets off a friend to save a few dorrahs.
  14. Yo James, I've tried to get incontact with them but they have been lazy.. I'll give him a ring tonight and see what's the go. Did you try quoting the account number as Jon said?
  15. LOL! I was going to suggest that but I don't know the area that well.. Newcastle is just so far!
  16. Those helmets aren't that nice. Just imagine how many sweaty people have been inside those helmets drooling on them! If you are going to be doing a few trackdays better off buying your own.
  17. Ah good question. You can use full or open face. We reccommend full face as it's more protective. Any motorbike shop can sell you one to your buget. You are looking from $120 - 2k if you like. This all depends on what you want to use it for. A cheapie $120 should do you fine Just make sure that it fits properly. When you put the helmet on make sure it's very snug. Not too tight so it's pushing your cheeks in. But wobble your head around with it on. If it moves around it's too loose. Try this place http://nmw.com.au/s1/index.php?option=com_...t&Itemid=63
  18. Just to let you know Michael. Our photographers will have access to all points of the track. To anyone else will have to stay behind the barriers.
  19. I don't see my name up there?? I'm pretty sure I've picked up old parts for you? haha! I feel unloved
  20. Wow.. That's a pretty big power figure for a lawn mower
  21. Ok So I was just speaking to my tyre contact. The ZR compound is still available. Don't believe everything you read. I'm running SS595's at the moment. I can't remember which compound. They are some of the best tyre's I've bought so far (For the price) DONT BUY THE EVO's they are a cheaper version and from what I have heard they aren't that great. What has really confused me is that you are saying the ZR compound is the high perfomance compound. My tyre guy is telling me it's the other way around. From what quick research I just did over the internet. The R compound is said to be the softer compound where the ZR's are not.
  22. They were always allowed. Now they just don't need a license but still need to sign a disclaimer.
  23. I'm fairly sure you just need to sign a passenger disclaimer.
  24. No to all of the above
