As far as garages go I take my GTR to Manta Racing of London rd by the gocarts. Steve want have a lend of you or your money and nows his stuff . He can also arrange to get it to Peter hall if needed. As far as paint goes , my car is as we speak at Mr Paint and panel just two doors up from boostin oz. He is also painting gazzanats {Gary Myers} pick up at the moment {drift burnout man from drift nationals2} You could also try boostin aus as a mechanic {the guy's on here recomend them} Of course this would help if you live on the north side of town hoped this will help michael

I have bought two cars from redline , first was a clean looking R33 series2 and my 32gtr. the gtr was the second car and the cleanest of the two. If you were going to buy a car of them I would want to see the auction report from them so you can see the condition of the panel work. Their {jap} auctions are very fussy so you should want to see all triple a reports on the panels to know it was a straight car. Next be prepard to pay a little more for their cars because they do go for cars that might have a few extra kay's but have good interiors. {can generally gudge a cars maintaince by its interior}. mine had 99,000k's rigydidge {had books} lucky to get their japanese contacts personal car. Now if you want to talk about the r33 i will suggest you pm me! The guy's at s____y seemed dodgy to me so I stayed clear of them. my next best advice would be if you do buy a car from a dealer , dont waste your money on warranties because you can never claim on them anyway{ always classed as wear and tear} save yourself a couple of grand and by missnismo's car, it sounds hot

$60 dollars for a new set mate, if they are fouled dont be a cheap skate or you might pay for it in the long run. {new motor} etc. what you should be asking is a mechanic to look into why they fouled up . good luck anyway

Firstly do you own one secondly, look at the times these stock cars do down the quarter. stock times for stock car 0-100 1/4 mile cost power R32gtr 5.5sec 13.7sec 20k-35k 206kw Falcon 7.8sec 15.6 sec 36k 190kw falcon xr6t 6.2sec 14.3 sec 47k 245kw commodore sv6 6.9sec 15.1 sec 40k 190kw hyundai grandeur 7.2sec 15.1 sec 40k est 194kw subaru wrx sti 5.8sec 13.8 sec 57k 206kw mitsubishi evo 1X 5.6sec 13.8 sec 57k 206kw nissan 350z track 6.4sec 14.3 sec 68k 221kw mazda rx8 6.4sec 14.8sec 55k 171kw not bad for a stock car mate! dont know what you mean by not fast for todays standard, also look at the cost for the other car's! the only thing coming close are the other imports thirdly, spend a few more dollars on intercooler,exhaust,powerfc and tune to 260rwks and then 0-100 1/4mile cost power R32gtr {or any GTR} 4.9sec 12.8sec extra 10k 350kw {or buy one with mods} 30-40k ford fpv typhoon 5.9sec 14sec 61k 290kw ford fpv GT-P 6.2sec 14.3sec 72k 290kw holden GTO manaro 5.1sec 13.3sec 79k 297kw holden coupe4 6.5sec 14.3sec 90k 270kw spend the same on similar mods on these cars and you will reach same power figure but will still be behind the GTR and probably want have 25-60k in your back pocket and just for good measure porsche carrera 4.9sec 13.2sec 196k 239kw porsche 996 911 turbo 4.5sec 12.7sec 323k 309kw now do you still think GTR's are still slow by todays standard lol and by the way times and figures straight out of wheels mag! I drive mine everyday, its got 292rwk and is driveable in every way. When I got it it it was dead stock with jap chipped stock computer and made 199rwks, a wrx sti tried me and sadly was embaressed big time. any way people have gun, {gtr} will travel {fast}
-
sorry tommy, better explain first . at 30kphr probably 4000rpm im getting 200rwkw's so i dont feel any lag even from standstill and not dropping clutch, just easing on, lag might only be ther for a 1/2 a second and then wooooooooohooooooo hold on . give you an idea {hold onto your suunies or they will be in the back seat in second gear, okay wouldnt be on to much boost but neither would the non gtr car secondly, who ever would try dragging you from 30kphr {probably wouldnt really happen to much} I would still be in first any way and only need to put pedal down.
-
change down a gear there is a thing called a clutch and 5 speed box
-
Ecept in the WET ! I drive ny GTR as a daily driver and still are waiting for a WRX or EVO that will beat it . with almost 300rwk's the gtr will almost beat top bikes { wil keep up with most } and in the wet will eat almost anything else {except 4wd porsche} for breakfast!

Gtr - Hi Flow Manifolds And Standard Turbos
savage GTR replied to Antimatter's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
how about fiting a plate in between the two surfaces which could then be shaped or ground out from one size to the other. it would have to be probably be atleast on inch thick though and this would effect the height of the turbos or possibly be a space issue. if you have the space though it might work -
Just curious what the most km anyone has done in their GTR before needing to rebuild the motor or gearbox whether modified or stock . This is real km's so please dont answer if you dont know if your car's speedo has been tamperd with or not a factory one. If you have old speedo and after market one and can calculate accurately the real km's then this is okay to post Any answer would be appreciated. michael

Wrecking: [syd] R32 (1991) Skyline Gtr
savage GTR replied to m1key's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
How much for the gear box and how many K's its done pm me please -
After owning an R33 s2 25gtst , wrxmy2000 and r32gtr, I still own the gtr. The r33 was a great car but a little more likely to spin the rears but with that said cost me bugger all to keep on the road. The GTR on the other hand has cost me a small fortune. The GTR is by far a more enjoyable ride.{their sex on wheels} you Know As the other people have said, take less money to get more power but you will need deep pockets Another thing, GTR's are bathurst legends Anyway thats my opinon, hope it helps you to make up your mind michael

seems to me mate you already know the answer

seems like a few of you people got out the wrong side of the bed this morning. give the guy a break or you might end up with a warning! hope the moderators treat you worse than they did me because my comment's were no way as harsh as these posted one's. and another thing if the mod's dont give you one, i would think theres double standards here!

Are Xr6 Turbo Drivers The New Commodore Driver?
savage GTR replied to morgsj50's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Should we end this discusion now! Idiots wil always be idiots no matter what car they drive . Whether it be a skyline, holden or a ford, its still a car and behind the wheel an idiot, hoon or bogan is still an accident waiting to happen. Egos are a dangerous thing so keep them for playing Gturismo {playstation} BY the way XR6T's are still the best thing Ford has put out of the factory since GTHO's -
input bearing starting to make some noise so starting to save up for it but not sure who to go to. Does anyone know what the cost's are? rest of box seems fine sycros, shifts etc. If anyone has theirs done recently can they please recomend somewhere ?

Us hardware people refer to that fexipipe as agpipe, and it comes in slotted and unslotted forms. Another use for the pvc pipe {40, 50,65mm}sizes is it is good to use to make up covers for exposed gauges for dash mounted types. have seen this done in high performance import mag.{early issue}. Black spray paint is great for alot of things.

Must admit, have heard of story's like the coolant and oil type, but with a older owner {28yr's} and higher spec vehicle {WRX, skyline etc} you would assume that the car would be looked after and maintained. Well that was my thought's anyway . By the way, were asking $22,500 ono with subaru service history, no mods all the goodies like w/tint keypad alarm, 6stck cd new disc's rotor's etc. thanks for your opinions any way

My wife is selling her 2000WRX . Just wondering why people looking at buying a car may consider this to be a bad thing. I have had people ring up and as soon as they hear that it's a lady owner they hang up or loose interest. I personally dont think of this to be a bad thing because the car is less likely to have been thrashed or given a hard time. It is also more likely to have been serviced when it's due and looked after. No doubt there are also females that are into the car scene and know more about their cars than some males . If you could give me an honest answer why you wouldn't buy a performance car from a female then please post it
