As soon as you see 300rwk's budjet for a new clutch. LOL power fc is definetly worth it . Go for the jetro if you can. Mine went from 199rwk's to 185rwks with mods, and power fc added and tuned 260rwk's. I make 292rwk's now with 1.1bar with N1 turbos. You should see aleast that power level because I still have standard injectors. good luck.

Not liking your references to salisbury area. I would rather live in salisbury (not that I do) than christies beach or anyware near marion etc. Everywere has a few as#holes and salisbury residents are not much different than burnside residents other than the thickness of their wallets. LOL

Watch out for the power bug LOL I went from 199rwk's to 260 and then 292rw's. Now that even feels slow, until you line up a crapy comodore. LOL As a few of the guy's said before though, the more often you drive it , the less spectacular it feels. I ownly drive my GTR 1-2 times a week now and get more pleasure from driving it . Damm beats the 1.6 laser wagon. LOL 8 months of withdrawal though waiting for the new clutch. Now its back on the road , Im in heaven.

Boostin Oz was broken into last week and some pr#cks stole a heap of EMS engine management computors from their workshop. These sell for about $1500 or abouts so if any person has any for sale and are still in their box's and are going cheap , let me know. There has been some pr%cks going around trying to break into alot of the local businesses lately. Broke into my work aswell and I have seen the video footage and have an idea what he looks like. this is all around the salisbury plains area. So if you have any suspisions please let me know and keep your ears open. CHEERS.

Hungry Jacks: Midnight Heroes Episode 1.
savage GTR replied to Pauly33GTS-t's topic in South Australia
Similar thing happened to a mate at work the otherday, Ive opened up the gates at work and brenton comes through in his ford (xr8) and tells me to stick around as two Wutang's in a comodore (P plater) follow him into the carpark. They give him looks as if to say we will have ya and I pull out my phone(watch out he has a phone(russell crowe)) and take a happy snap of their car (number plate) just in case something eventuated. Nothing happened because as soon as they seen me taking photo's the Wutang's pissed off. All brenton did was indicate to pull into the left lane and they closed up the gap so he couldn't. He eventually pulled infront of them with a squirt of the throttle and upset them. The next day, who do you think was waiting for him. Brenton decided that these idiots needed a lesson so pulled over and they followed. He got out with his club lock and went up to their car and said come then you punk's. Offered to take them on one at a time without the club lock and they pissed of never to hassle him again. My thought's were not to bring this kind of sh#t back to your work place or home due to the chance of payback. Takeing a photo or the number plate down is a smart thing to. I thought it would of been more fun to lock the gates behind them and trap the pricks in the carpark and have a party.LOL Best reply to road rage I find is to wave and smile like a crazy person LOL or say sorry -
Would have to agree with deluxe Stove tail lights are the best and there is no compromise . Why do you think all those lancers , monaros, comodores, altezas etc try to copy them. Orig is best .

spotted lots of skylines today on my cruise in the GTR down to victorharbour. spotted a red R33 on main north heading north around parafield, a grey R32 sitting in a car park at pooraka of main north, a white R34 on main north around medindie with a female driver who was polite enough to let me into her lane, a yellow R33 on railway terrace who nodded back , followed a black R33 with a white bonnet on south road from ashford to clovelly park, a white R33 turning up flinders drive obviously going to the uni and a single silver R33 on north east rd around hamsted gardens which had a tiny boot lid spoiler on the way home. Other than that had a great day with the wife and daughter at horseshoe bay. There is a great little cafe there with nice fish and chips. Beautiful scenery to.

Mines a 94 , 32GTR and was in the last 200 built off the production line. Its not to hard to find out , all you need is the vin number. The worst thing about all of this is that 99% of the imports landing on our shores were written of in japan. If you want to know if your car was , pm me your vin and a mate can find out in a couple of seconds. Warning though, you might not want to hear the answer though. My GTR had a class of 4 in the japan auctions and I saw the report before it was auctioned so I felt safer about the km's , but my car was still written off over there . You coundnt pick a scratch on it though, and it was owned by one of the guy's working for the car dealer at the auctions . By the way, a white 32GTR was brought over first but got nailed by another car on the boat journey and I still have a copy of the pictures taken of the car in japan. To put people into a realistic view though, 1, just sit back and think how much you love driving your car and dont be stupid to think that the japanese would be any different. 2, look for residue of 100,000 timing belt service sticker on the rocker cover. 3, look at the condition of the interior, my interior was in twice as good condition as another red 32GTR that I saw at a yard on the corner of north east rd (turismo imports). MY car had 97,000 and this car had 48,000 on its clock, cough cough cough. The guy there said that it was low kays because it was stored in a show room most of the time . cough cough cough. The drivers chair looked like a shag carpet. lol Instinct told me to stay away from this car. (plus I heard it had gearbox issues.) ( thrashed on a race track more likely) 4, performance shocks means lots of kms done.(I still have orig GTR shockers(complete with gtr stickers on them )) and they are still great. 5, look at the plenum for paint peel. (more boost means more heat which means more paint peel) 6, look for original brake discs . (seen a red 32GTR with non GTR discs in it at a car yard 2 ) Good luck to anyone thinking of buying an import though and hope this helps you with what to watch out for.

Seen miss32 a few times lately 2, last week on explorer pd near home and on main north in muno para the week before . Was in the family car though. GTR is back on the road finally though, (8 months off road) and is only getting driven tuesday to work and maybe cruising on thurs/fridays. Does any one on here no sly34 in the yellow 34 ?

My GTR had 97,000kms on the speedo and these were ligit. I had a look at some others which had 45, to 70, ks on their tako's and their interiors were knackered compared to mine. Most car yards I came across said it happens alot in the auction yards , yeah right , pull the other one. Just proves that if it dont feel right, dont buy it.

Not sure as this was a quick coversation before starting work this morning. checked the papers but nothing in them either. This was aparently happened a week ago in sa.

Just wondering if anybody else seen the article about imports sitting in an adelaide dealers yard[ fitz$#y] The cars in question were a 33GTR , supra and a series 2 R33GTS25T skyline. Some of these cars had 40, ks vanish of their clocks from the auction yards odmtr reading. If I bought a car from there , I would be seriously pissed off . The mta no longer approved the yard as of the next day. This was surposed to be a wide practice too , these guys just got caught. Would love to hear peoples views

Someone told me that they saw on the ABC news a story about a R32GTR crashing into a tree at 190kphr and obviously the driver died. The car was 3mtrs up the tree or should I say wraped around the tree. Is this an accident that anyone else has heard about. Not meaning to be insensitive in any way if this is true.

I take it youved checked the battery! sounds familiar. LOL
-
Unfortunatley , if this is the GTR , then i found $500-$600 the going price for labour. Adelaide brake and clutch only sell and repair clutchkits. Not fit them . Good luck though because thats what's happening to my GTR as I sit hear.New exedy twin plate, fitted over the week. Also getting injectors serviced and slight over bore ie 440cc-470cc. , new calcium battery, clutch booster and service. A mechanic I know, is fixing mine after hours, for me as a favour. He owns a series 2 v spec 32GTR :sorcerer:

Im running R34N1 twins and they cost me to much. Check out the prices from advan in sydney before buying local. That way you dont get riped off. Puting out 292rwks by the way. I would look at what power figure and what you want to use the car for first. Twin t04s would of been my second pref.

Disconect your battery , then charge it . If it's a a 33 , just be carefull of your rear speakers as they might atempt to pull the spaner towards them as you undo the terminals. A rubber insulated handle type is best. Another thing , with the battery from a 33 , you dont need to open the cell caps . good luck By the way , since my gtr isnt going anywhere lately , I ve had to charge mine up . A good charger shouldn't cost more than $24.95. If you buy one from any mitre10 tomorow , you should get 15% off.

Kye , who is your insurance company ? just curious.
-
Holy cow Kye , thats a bit. I suppose they did make a mess though. Are you going to have to pay any excess? Good luck with the repair though mate. Hope it ends up better than new.
-
Cheers PT , So far been quoted about $1500 to rebuild it (worse case scenario). Let me know . michael

Come on mate , the memory is'nt that bad. The car will be a rightoff by the way . When I went up the curb, it stuffed up the drive shaft's etc, but the car is ok from the front window back. Still it was only a $1600 work hacker. If any one know's of a daily hacker for sale under $1000 let me know. By the way jazza, Ive never hit a stationary object in by life. Wait a minute , thats a lye. I hit a stationary car on my push bike once LOL (22yrs ago) It hurt LOL, me and my bike LOL. Now to make matters interesting , I got a letter in the post today , fine for dangerous lane change. 1stly , they got the offence number wrong (a155 which is to fail to give way at a T junction or to drive on a tram line) I dont see a tram line going down main north road around elizabeth. Secondly the lane beside me was clear of trafic which is why I tryed to aviod the collision and when your car is slidding out of control , where did the traffic cops come up with that one . I went down to the elizabeth police station yesterday arvo to try and clear this up , but there was a que of people with only one pen pusher there to handle it . When he finally got to speak to me another copper came out to takeover for him so he could speak to the other 6 people in the que (which was getting bigger by the minute) and this guy didint know what to do so I ended up wasting 45 mins waiting for him to come up with an answer. What do you know, no answer because he couldnt work it out either. You will have to wait till i can speak to a traffic officer he said. You and I both (all of sau) know what that ment, They are all out revenue raising . If anyone out there knows wether this is right please let me know (following statement) If I pay the fine but wish to take it to court like it says on the ticket , I pled not guilty because I didnt drive on tram tracks, and wasnt at a T junction , will this get thrown out of court and I wont get the acompanying 3 demerit points (only got 3 left). Something like double jeopardy Any comments welcome (including jazza lol)

Thanks for the offer Ryan if that is what you are saying but after mondays crash, I will have to avoid heavy lifting of any kind for a few month's . Dont want to inflame the torn disc in my lower back from previous accident.
