do you have the packaging for the lock nuts?
if you do it should have a code on there somewhere so that you can get replacement socket.
if you dont u will have to use an angle grinder to cut a slot in the nut and then get a chisel and hammer. put the chisel in the groove that is in the lock nut and hit it with a hammer to turn it.
other option is to weld a bar to the nut to turn it.
hope that helps
Did they seriously defect you for 93.6db!!!!!!!!!!!
I got done in my old car for too loud and it was 107db.
the bloke said if it was 100 or less he would have let me off
but it was way higher.
he also said that the limit is 95db
i agree that the gains would be minimal.
possibly better response as it will shorten the inlet piping to the manifold.
Another one you could look at is the one made by RIPS(rotorua import performance shop). I think thats what it stands for.
they will fit but you will have to have the box leaned back probably greater than 45 degrees.
in my 32 the box is at about this angle to fit under the boot lid for a 12 inch sub.
the bigger the sub the further it will have to be angled back.
i dont know how much higher a 33 boot is than a 32 boot though.
you will most likely have to custom make a box
what kind of clutch are you getting?
just a standard one?
700 sound like a decent price for a 4wd.
I am paying just under a grand to get my clutch supplied and fitted at gas tune and thats in a GTST!
Then again the clutch plate and pressure plate are both being custom made!
The joys of knowing someone who owns a workshop!!!
yesterday i was waiting to turn right at the intersection where lake G and the bowling centre in belco are . i look in the rear view mirror and theres a car comin up, not slowing down. i was thinking shit this idiot gonna run up my ass. the light was still red so i couldnt go anywhere. look back again and he swings around my car into the lane to go straight ahead then cuts back in front of my car and goes flying through the red light round the corner when there was oncoming traffic about to go through the intersection. if only he got hit by a car so i could get out and smack him in the head.
Some people just have no idea at all!!!!!!!!
Im pretty sure interstate cars dont need to go through dickson, my mate bought a victorian car and he just took it to a normal shop to get his RWC. Got rego no questions asked..
I have no idea about fresh imports though.
My car has aftermarket suspension, exhaust, intercooler, ecu, BOV, Pod. All i had to do was take it to a mechanic and they passed it no problems. Didnt have to go anywhere near dickson.
Mine has done the same kind of thing. i cant unlock/lock the car with the remote but when i use the key it still opens both doors.
I have no idea why it doesnt work and no the remote isnt dead. I still have to use it to disarm the immobiliser.
The white stuff looks like the crap that builds up on battery terminals when you dont clean them for ages.
I dont know what causes this or what it is but there is obviously a current running through the spark plug lead as there is with the battery so maybe it is the same kind of build up.
yeah i parked at the club and it was about the same height from the gutter as your car. i reversed back and then BANG!!
Got out and half my front bar was ripped off. Didnt scrape when i parked or reversed just caught on the back edge when i moved back. Didnt make any noise till the bar snapped!
