if my car dosnt sell i am goin to re-spray my car with a black bonnet, roof, pillers and boot.. trying to keep the maroon or even splurge out and get a candy dark maroon What are your thoughts... seen it done in person... or tips on acheiving to right line?... Your input is valuable.. Cheers Nismoh

i'm in your boat... i'm about to lay a deposit down on a neo25 for my 32... went for a drive in the 34 the neo was in a few hours ago... has so much more power down low than any 33 i've been in... had mild mods , zorst, intercooler, 12 pound boost and a powerFC... SET ON A MILD TUNE... it found 220kw at the rear tread...

i own a 32 and have driven 32, 33, 34 as well as a bunch of other non skylines... stock wise, 32 nice to drive, gutless till boost, 33 with the rb25 has a little thing call Variable Cam Timing which helps out down low, and 34s are in a leauge of there own... but now... you say you have 15k, why not get the looks of a 32 with the heart of a 33... very do-able with that money... ATM i am lookin at puttin a rb25det into my rig. from what i can gather isnt too much hassle... but for the sake of the argument, imo. 32's are still quick, looks tough and you dont have that ugly cadilac looking boot if you choose to take the spoiler off? Admitably apart from the boot 33's are a much nicer car... well priced mods for both. Insurance, in QLD its a couple grand for full comp, i choose to live life on the edge however, third party ftw

I'm setting up for my conversion.. if i use a 25det computer, Will i loose A/C Wipers Anything else that isnt directly involved with the engine?

power fc is managing everything engine wise, standard comp keeping everything else under control... i've been looking into this conversion for a little while now... have you run into any other problems yet?

it seems too far fetched to say that all the syncros are fcukd... 75k 2nd time over?... jokes... it sounds serious to just let it go...have you changed the gearbox oil recently?

sounds alot like your thrust bearing...is it absolutly every gear that it grinds at 2-2.5 k?........ how many K's on the car?

tek 01, the centre bearing sits roughly half was between the gear box and the diff... best way to check if it's buggered or not is to through yourself under the car...may need to be jacked up at the rear and push and pull on you tail shaft, if it moves around and clunks it's stuffed... if it stays relativly 'center' it's not you centre bearing... we have a distributer in makcay called hardy n spice.... thats where i got mine from...they seem to know there stuff
