are you sure they didnt come out in 89 because im sure ive seen on a Japanese website an owner of a 89 model Honda NSX but this could also be wrong?

yep agree with Above^^ ABS run a Seperate Computer aswell as ABS pumps and lines and all this sensors on each wheel along as another dash one that flashes ABS etc.... probably very expensive and a time consuming job

i would say because the 89 models are pretty rare, and would be very expensive in japan just like any of the old Skylines ie 72model GTR GC210 or 110 whatever they are, if they werent rare we would be seeing them popup on the japanese importer sites like j-spec or prestige motorsport, but until this day i have never seen on on either of those sites...

it really depends on how you are going to drive it, if u are going to clutch dump at 7000revs at every set of traffic lights then i expect it would last long, but if you are driving like a granny with the occasional fang then it should last alot longer

hi all i am looking at converting my r31 skyline to rb20det and i can get hold of a Redtop Nics version For Cheaps with loom etc.... now i have a question Are the RB20DET Redtop And Silvertop Exhaust Manifolds the Same? both have a T3 Style Flange?? if i buy a custom exhaust manifold of a silver top eccs will it bolt up to the redtop NICS motor? i know they are probably pretty slow standard but i looking at getting a front mount etc.... thanks for your input all

thats real expensive, 3litre Turbo i dont think so , it would be 2 Liter turbo as i have one of these motors at work

a thrust bearing is a bearing that goes around the Input Shaft of a Gearbox, it is attached to a Clutch fork Via 2 little Clips...

ahh ok, i currently have got turbo Import brakes on my R31 atm which would probably be good for the turbo conversion, although i dont think i would run powersteering because the racks always leak oil out (trw), but yea i can easily get that zorst system made up... i think id buy another clean skyline and work an rb20det into that one... thanks for you help all....

yea it does but, how can i run the aussie dash with the rb20det ? like temp gauge and oil pressure gauges in the aussie dash? also would i use a R32 Starter motor loom and adapt it to the battery so i can start the rb20det??

yea i know that but i can get an RB20DET Eccs out of an R32 with a LOOM and computer, and im wondering if i wire that all up and put the computer in the spot where the rb30e computer goes, how is it going to fire off the coils and stuff, because i dont really want to get an Aftermarket Computer and wiring loom for it because i wanna keep it a simple project...

hi all i am looking at getting an RB20DET for my skyline R31... At The Moment i just have a Couple of Quick Question.. does the RB20DET loom bolt Str8 up into the existing rb30 loom spot and computer?? Do you need to run an after market ignition System, like microtech or something like that? Does the Rb20DET bolt straight up to the standard rb30 engine mounts? Is it worth having an LSD or is standard Single Spinner Diff Good? Do the Standard Brakes Stop it? or is it worth upgrading them?? but something has got me stumped here, How do you start the things when they run coils and transistor unit? can i adapt the rb30 ignition loom into it or something like that? Does the Fuel Pump Need upgrading?? Thanks for you help all...
