thanks Abu, yeah i know all about the screw to tighten or losen. I played around with it and made it so it went off alot earlier, unfortunantly though there is not much adjustment left and loosning it up any more causes it to stall. its makin the flutter at very low rpm on light exceleration before it even hits boost so i doubt if it will set to that low without stalling

its not the blitz bov noise that i hate, its the flutter that you get when you block off your std bov and dont use a aftermarket. ( pressure building up and forcing turbo to spin the other way)

hey guys, i know this topic has been covered to death in the past but my querie is a little different, i did a search and got the same old answers. my problem is: I have an r33 s1 and the car came with 2 bovs a stock and a blitz bov. the blitz is all the way down on one of the pipes that go to the intercooler. i decided to take the stock off as it was defeating the purpose of an aftermarket. i put a plate where the stock was and blocked off the plumback with a turbosmart blocking cap (orwhat ever you call it). The after market bov goes off on heavy accleration but on lite exceleration i get that flutter noise (which i dont want ) i set the bov to go off pretty easy and it used to with two bos but now its not and i have set it to almost the weakest spring rate . what have i done wrong ?? or is it normal to get a flutter at low RPM with an aftermarkt pod and front mount ?? i dont know if im parenoid but i can swear its increased lagging between shifts, my mates reckon that its the same so i could be wrong. any help would be appreciated thanks

I had the same prob last week, it mostly occured when dropping down in gears on the freeway. it was my coil packs i took em out painted them with nail polish , it fixd them for now, i dare say coil packs are most prob next on my shopping list...

hey guys, Im trying to modify the wiring on the std boost solenoid in order to get full boost ... I read the DIY thread but it was a little unclear.. I was wondering if someone can explain it to me in other words.. I'm a little confused as to which end of black wire (ground) i should be grounding. and also it also talks about a lead wire to the black wire ??? I know I sound pretty hopless and i would appreciate any help ..

I dont think its anything to do with the clutch, because I have heard all positive feedback about it.. maybe the way my mechanic installed it ?? I dunno mybe its in my head.. Anyone had this experience??? or maybe the oposite or no change ??? feedback would be very much appreciated.

hey guys, I just got my clutch changed on my R33 GTS-T 1995, it had the original Nissan clutch on previously, I changed it to an excedy heavy duty clutch (organic) . Now I feel like I have lost a bit of power, the car is still running great besides that small loss of power esp. in between shifts, it feels like it takes a while to get going after changing from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to third etccc..(CLUTCH IS NOT SLIPPING THO) but once I get past that stage it feels like my car again.. I have spoke to a few guys and they all say that the clutch has nothing to do with loss or gain of power. What do you guys think ?? is it all in my head or what Thanks guys Amer

yeah I know the 204 KW was deffinantly not right, Id like to think I have a half decent car but 204 rwkw is not my cars performance yet and I dont need no dyno to tell me that !LOL I have an apexi boost guage and its on 0.5 bars

Na I asked about it and the bloke said after he finished that he didnt connect the leads that will show how much boost. but Im only running stock I dont have boost controller the bloke I went to just got the dyno machines so i think he is still learning but he seemed to know what he was talking about and any questions I asked I got answers for that were pretty much rite ?! those graphs dont tell you much ? he has invited me back next week if i get boost (free of charge) for another run.

above are the graphs, I should mention that the second is a metric ready ?? which is alot higher the original metric ready came back at 215 KW that one is showing 204.5 (as he printed the wrong one ) WHat is metric ready and why is it so much higher ???

hey guys I finaly got a chance to put her to the test.... I will post the Dyno sheet over the next few days.. We had a few power runs and it came up as 175.4 RWKW I have got an x-force exhaust 3 inch turbo back . ARC front mount APEXI air filter blitz bov and STOCK BOOST , STandar ECU I dont know how good or bad this is but from what my mate was telling me he was impressed... let us know what you think ??? and how much more will i get if I ran say around the 11 psi boost ..... ???

hey guys, I have an R33 GTS-T 95, I justy got my breaks changed and the mechanic said that the R33 pads are diffrent then the ones I have on the car therefore we tried the R34 which fit staight on (not sure if its an upgrade in breaks or what) I got the discs machined and changed all four pads. The problem is that when I am coming to a stop I get a realy bad almity HIGH PITCH screatch. which is the worst I have ever heard breaks Screatch, I did a search and found some help (eg: anti squeal red stuff which I used) but had no sucess in geting them fixed my mechanic had a few looks at it but unfortunantley has not been able to fix the problem. is there anyone who has had the same problem if so how do I fix it ? and help or input would be greatly appreciated.
