  1. Thanks guys, I believe the bolt patterns should line up for the calipers, will guess I will find out soon enough. The main reason I ask is that I really dont wamt to get new wheels as the ones on it are quite expensive. Im going to have a hell of a time here in Vic as I have just come from queensland, and compared to Victoria the modification rules are seeming to be very strict. Eg my inlet alone has PWR front mount FMIC, Pod Filter, modded plenum and aftermarket BOV. And the ECU, well I guess I will have trouble transfering rego etc. How strict is a roadworthy on modification issues, are they concerned with mods or just the safety aspects alone (hence the safety cert)??
  2. Hey all, have done an R33 GTS Auto to RB25DET and manual gearbox, my question is with the brakes. I have to upgrade to GTST brakes, but to get it legally engineered do I need to go to the 5 stud bolt pattern or will the 4 stud suffice as long as calipers are changed?
  3. bump, car needs to go $10500
  4. up ya go ANy comments/suggestions welcome peoples
  5. Basically all that needs to be done is brake upgrade and engineered. All engine swap components were done with factory genuine parts etc, so wont be an issue. Needs mod plate for FMIC as well.
  6. Up ya go! Constructive criticism please!

Is an absolutely immaculate car inside and out with only a few minor things left to be done, very regretfull sale but the need to move on is upon me.... Pictures will speak for me on this. Grab an absolute bargain Thousands spent on this car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [att chment=137253:Scotts_car_084.jpg]
  8. Yup, two of them!!!!
  9. It enables computer to read fuel mixture more accurately. I have two skylines and did an experiment with swapping the O2 sensor, the car that was only getting 350km out of a tank instantly shot up 550-600km out of a tank of fuel on highway. On the highway it enables computer to run closed loop. For only around the $100 mark I think it is probably worth the investment for saving so much fuel. They are meant to be changed around every 60000km or so, but this is just a guideline.
  10. Hey all, been a long time between posts recently. I have to move to Victoria at end of year and thought I better address a couple of issues with my car. 1/ Poor fuel economy. Will replace O2 sensor with new item. First question is does it have to be nissan genuine part or will any generic 3 wire O2 sensor work. What cost will that be? 2/ Need new air con compressor and get whole air con system overhauled. New Drier/regass etc. Where is a good place to do this on gold coast. Any ideas on what this will set me back? I figure in region of 600-700. I live at the Gold Coast Cheers
  11. As described, it has come time to upgrade the brakes as to be legal after the engine and gearbox transplant. The car has 4 stud hubs and non turbo brakes at present. Speaking in an engineering viewpoint, do you "HAVE" to upgrade the hubs to five stud? Obviously the calipers are going to be upgraded from GTS to GTS-T front and rear. Am asking as I would like to keep same wheels on car etc. I will probably upgrade rotors to go with the caliper change but want to maintain four stud!! All you engineering gurus out there give me guidance please!!!!!!!
  12. Okay, my heart is bleeding putting this for sale as it has been my project over the past 5 years, but family has become bigger priority nowadays! Project is 95% complete but just needs couple more things to complete the package R33 GTS sedan, car has about 160-000km! However, engine swap and transmission change occured three years ago. Since then the engine cracked a piston and has been rebuilt with new bearings, 40thou oversize arias forged pistons. The engine has done only 25000km since rebuild. Gearbox was also stripped down and had all synchros replaced at the same time. The rebuild was done in november 2005, the car has spent the last twelve months off the road as it was getting painted and took a long long time to get back together again. Original colour was silver two tone but now is coated in Ford Velocity Blue with a percentage of prismatique blue (sparkles) being added in as well. The baby comes with; Series 2 RB25DET bored 40thou, Arias forged pistons. Engine runs series 1 wiring loom (Last time tuned made 205.4rwkw) Recently Rebuilt Gearbox 5 speed Recently rebuilt tail shaft, replacing all bearings and yokes Kaaz Mechanical 2way LSD PWR front mount cooler 600\300\60 Modified Inlet Plenum (polished) Brand new Alloy Radiator Series 2 turbo with 3" exhaust, Turbo back Bosch 044 fuel pump Eboost electronic boost controller Wolf3d version 4plus ECU with hand controller GTR dash Painted interior (dash etc) Bilstein suspension TV, pioneer head unit and two amps 10" pioneer sub, pioneer front splits and pioneer 6 by 9's This is a absolute gorgeous car. Has done no more then 100km since respray. Things that still need to be done to the car are as follows: New seals around front rear windscreens Clutch thrust bearing noisy and may need need to be replaced soon Brake upgrade as to allow car to be engineered legally Car is registered until 20 DEC 07 $14000
