  1. Remove the caliper and then remove the rotor. You will then have full access to the stone guard... you cant slide it off hence you need to hack it off. Use either tip snips, an angle grinder or a combination of the two
  2. Do you think the front 27mm bar is too hard for your use? Which rear bar do you have?
  3. Awesome, thanks for confirming! These are the ones I am after. From what I understand, the 27mm adjustable front / 24mm adjustable rear are more suitable for track use or with R compound tyres, the normal combo as others have posted is a 24mm front adjustable / 22mm rear adjustable combo.
  4. Just go down to your local suspension shop with those bushes hopfeully they can supply some matching bushes if you are worried about replacing them. Did the kit come with the new front links (without bushes) or do are you using your existing links?
  5. If the kit does not come with them you usually re use the standard ones. Are you missing just the rubber bits or the whole links? Front or rear?
  6. What do you mean the smaller ones? Are you missing the front or rear ones?
  7. Does anyone know if you can get adjustable 27 (front) and 24(rear) bars? I only see fixed models of these bars. Has anyone used the 24mm rear bar?
  8. Wait till someone buys mine until you post the phone number I need to make this more attractive, so... For $70 ill deliver them to people close to the city in Sydney
  9. I currently have ~2 deg negative camber on the rear of my r33 due to lowering the car 1 inch. Ive been deciding between arms with sphericals, arms with bushes(whiteline) or just bushes to reduce rear camber. If I use camber arms and have the camber corrected to -1 degree, how will this affect my bump steer? Should I buy adjustable radius rods/bushes and attempt to have them adjusted or is it not worth it for that small of a change? Cazman - do you make rear camber arms for r33s? Any advise appreciated!
  10. Price drop - $70
  11. Tyres have one track day left in them, on average about 15% tread. I have too many tyres at home so need to clear some out. $70 for the pair, pickup in Sydney city area.
  12. Hey mate, That sounds like your driver's side front tyre may have flat spot. If you have a flat spot on one side when you turn you usually notice it way more, also gets worse with speed. Its one thing you should rule out anyhow, so have a very good look at the tyre. Flat spot will usually be towards the inside due to neg camber.
  13. Update: Used Penrite Sin with DS2500 pads at Wakefield, fluid did not overheat at all during my 4 sessions. Previously have only used Castrol Super Dot 4 (silver bottle) at the track, that would hold up ok but would overheat a bit (never overheated it on the street) keeping in mind I flush or bleed it before and after any hard use so its always fresh.
  14. Thanks for the reply. As of last night I have the fluid in my car and am using it this weekend Will post up how it performed afterwards.
  15. Thanks, what are you comparing with, i.e have you found it the same as rbf600 etc?
  16. I have found the Castrol Response Super Dot 4 great for street duties, at around $10 a bottle its cheap and will not boil easily. Used the same stuff on the track and as a new (ie. slower) track driver its sufficient, but its not very hard to overheat it. Bought some Penrite Sin which is rated to 310deg Celsius dry boiling temp, its $20 from Repco so I thought I would try it at the next track day instead of the Motul stuff at $25-30 per bottle. Anyone had experience with the Penrite fluid?
  17. Smurfsblood = blue = lightweight
  18. The fact that he gets more excited about driving his Subaru Brumby than the R35 is all I need to make up my mind about that review.
  19. Hey mate, Sent you a pm, was wondering if you got it? I am interested in the castor arms.
  20. Hey guys, does anyone have experience with used oil analysis? I am in Sydney and am keen to get my oil tested, can anyone recommend a place and give an indication of price? I know of a few places but am after recommendations from personal experience.
  21. This is correct, Autostyle built this car, it was not built by Mines in Japan... We were chatting to the Autostyle guys at Superlap they said they bought the engine and diffs from Mines.
  22. Thanks, never thought of it that way. Time on the weekend is less of an issue than during the week(have to take time off work) and the overall cost of the trip is my second concern hence wondering if its not worth going for the whole time.
  23. Thanks guys, I will call around soon and see whats available. Also, would you suggest going down for the whole time (tues-sun) or go down for part of it, say friday-sunday?
  24. Im thinking of going down to spectate with some mates, never been before.. At this stage will it be difficult to find accommodation? Any tips appreciated
