I do that too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your not alone!! ahah. If you see another skyline randomly driving through the airport in the middle of the night, it will probably be me! I love the lights and the feel of driving through there. Often followed by parking at Krispy Kremes and gorging donuts!

$200 Cash Anyone That Can Get Me Into A I.t Job Sydney
siksII replied to 5ky's topic in New South Wales
If you say that you did not get any calls, then how do you know that is because you have no experience? If you are not able to get past the 1st step ie. getting a phone call and an interview, I would suggest that you have a good look at your resume and interview skills. I have seen plenty of friends resumes that have been rubbish. after some improvement, all of sudden they were getting calls for interviews. Use your family, friends and anyone more experienced to help you with the resume and importantly your cover letter. Some more advise I can give is that those CCNA courses are a big waste of time, ie. CCNA 1-4. If you are serious about learning the material then study it on your own and pass the external certification exam. Doing the 1-4 courses through TAFE or uni are not really worth much unless you have passed the external exam and actually earn the certification. -
Hicas Defected. Lock Bar Etc
siksII replied to PREISS's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You cant just remove the lock bar. To fit the lock bar you have to remove the electric motor that hooks up to the standard toe arms.. All you will need is this electric hicas motor, its not hard to put in. A suspension shop should be able to do it in under an hour easy. -
Out of cars ive owned it would have to be my 93 model swift gti - so dodgy that a child could bend the door frames out. 2/10 Most unsafe feeling car ive been in would probably be a Torana. Felt like if we were to be in an accident, it was going to hurt real bad! 1/10

Brake Pads Users Ratings Guide
siksII replied to Snowman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey guys, I have set of TRW Lucas pads on my r33 gtst with braided lines and new brake fluid. Disclaimer: This review is valid for very hard driving and for most people im sure they would be ok for spirited road use. These are cheap pads at around $70 and I think they are fine for the price, providing adequate stopping power for normal use but dont stand up to hard performance use and no way would they be suitable for track use in a Skyline. Talking about these pads from a performance perspective only, when compared to Bendix Ultimates, Ferodo Formula(TS2000) and I would rate them as a clear last. Compared to Ultimates and Formulas, I find they have: less initial bite (less confidence) less overall bite more wooden pedal feel similar modulation to Ultimates but worse than Forumlas no advantage in cold braking performance The most negative aspect of their performance is overheating. I have used Ultimates and Formulas on the same routes that I took with the Lucas pads many times and I have never experienced a major loss of braking performance with the former pads. Sometimes the Ultimates might have faded a little, but not enough to cause worry. Even when the rotors have been glowing red hot, and the pads are smoking they have always performed fine. With the Lucas pads on the other hand, after around 6mins of hard use I experienced some fade, then gradually got worse within the next few mins. I slowed down and although the rotors wernt even glowing, there was big plumes of smoke coming from the pads after which I quickly sped up to cool them down! From this I am assuming that although they are rated at similar temperatures to the other pads, they overheat at a lower temperature since the disk was not even glowing when I experienced the major fade. Bottom line, for normal use they will do the job fine and are a great buy for the price, but they are not for hard use. Personally I would avoid Ultimates since they eat rotors, but would pay the extra to get the Formulas over these pads. My set of Formulas with only a few mm of material left were easily more resistant to fade and better performing than the new pads. -
I say a lot of people dont know the difference, maybe not most but a lot. If they notice your car on the road many will think of you as a hoon. Especially if you are passing them or your car is loud. Personally I dont give a crap about what the general public thinks. There has always been an overall negative image associated with our types of cars and im sure there always will be due to media, and hooning activity by some of us.

Maybe not 420hp I reckon more like 380 or so.. in the test it ran a 12.7 @ 178km/h, and produced 214awkw in 4th gear.

It should be awesome, I have really been looking forward to this one!

Most JR highway busses (long distances) arent covered by the JR pass, so only bank on them being valid for trains. I recommend getting bilingual maps, they are few and far between. Try Kinokuniya. The ones i recommend in particular are: Japan - A Bilingual Guide Tokyo - City Atlas Published by http://www.kodansha-intl.com/ 10 grand should be enough, when I looked last most decent looking backpacker hostels werent much less $$ than a cheap motel so might want to look into that.
