  1. what if you can afford it and you choose not to? that is my point. and i think people are either one way or the other on this issue so i know there is probably not much point arguing this....
  2. welcome to 3 years ago
  3. ok so assuming the GB will take place, when can we pay, and how long after that will the rotors start to go out? Any idea of timeframes? Deadlines for payment? thanks for all the effort, its a shame that some issues came up!
  4. they have a mainline 2wd dyno.
  5. that is good value for money, but that kind of value is not available to a lot of people, especially living in sydney, which makes it not worthwhile.
  6. sorry i meant full comprehensive. i think it is stupid not to have third party property insurance, and that is irresponsible, as you are putting other peoples property at risk.
  7. if god forbid one day u smash your car i hope noone gives you sympathy either. edit: do some sums on insurance for younger drivers and you will see that its not an irresponsible thing NOT to insure your performance car.
  8. i agree with this, although it would help with straight line grip. i had used 255s on a 7.5 inch rim and the rear end was like jelly, the bulge was big. it may not be BAD but it wont be ideal, so dont do it if u like corners
  9. u can see the edge of her left nipple
  10. http://media.fairfax.com.au/?rid=21751 video with apparent confirmation

  12. yes it may have read that way but trust me i am VERY ANNOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i guess i am trying to look at it in the best light possible to be less pissed off overall, as in i did not get defected and the cop was not a massive tool. but yes still very pissed off dont get me wrong!!! now i feel bad for sounding positive about it, maybe i should edit my post make it sound more grim
  13. haha i had a run in the other week with a highway patrol. asked him to show me how he knew it was me etc etc etc like a million questions, all on the record, he did not break a sweat at all, was very professional. and i got to use the lidar gun! he was trying to show me how the gun can single out a car from traffic, so he handed it over for me to try he did not check out the car which was good. i am going in to watch the video of the incident (recorded from the car) at the police station soon too.
  14. very noisy pod, makes noise on the slightest throttle opening, zero maintenance means that when it gets dirty u chuck it out and buy a new one, so not cheap in the long run. didnt feel any power increase.
  15. some of u guys are pedos haha the girls will be like 15-16!!! thats not even legal! and barely legal if you are 18! lol!!
  16. Hey mate, the sp sport maxxs are the updated replacement for the sp9000s so are meant to be the better new tyre, so saying they are not as good as sp9000s doesnt make too much sense! also ive noticed lately eveywhere was discounting the sp9000s heavily i assumed because the replacement model (maxxs) coming in.
  17. u cannot register your car without a ctp green slip. and as someone else said there is a wide misconception that it covers third party property damage, this is not true, it is only for personal injury and u need to buy third party property damage seperately. that is usually around $600 for a p plater in nsw from justcars.
  18. that was awesome! congrats on fooling everyone haha!
  19. this is not always true, in relation to a NSW ctp greenslip there is often quite a difference between what different companies offer. this year one company (AAMI) quoted me $100 less than all others. go here to get quotes from all companies although some will not recognise imports online (u have to ring them) http://www.maa.nsw.gov.au/
  20. who owned the chrysler crossfire!?!?!?!?!? that was the guy i spoke to randomly on the street the other night!??!?! haha!
  21. I AM REALLY PISSED OFF I MISSED THIS! funny thing was that on tuesday night i was driving up william st at around 2am on the way home from eastern suburbs, and this silver pt cruiser came up next to me, had a short chat and he was telling me i should go to this track day!!!! (he saw the powerplay stickers on the side of my car) was the guy i spoke to anyone here? if i knew the z tune was coming.....!!!! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. i got d1 here in sydney from the mobil distributor, works out just over $59 a bottle, i got ripped! maybe next time ill mail order some over from motorex might work out cheaper. 59 was also the 'bulk' price, i should have paid about $65 per bottle but i got the discount by being friendly. since i have put it in the only difference i see is the oil seems to warm up quicker (than motul 4100) the weather has warmed up a bit too so it may only be due to that and not the oil. (i think the d1 is a bit thinner?)
  23. looks like it! i way prefer the buttons to a stalk, an added on stalk looks really ugly to me, if i had the stalk i think i would have removed it
  24. I have an aftermarket system, not sure what brand but here is a pic of the pad. works really well. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=53527 was in the car when i bought it which is why i dont really know any details other than it actuates the throttle with force from a small vaccum chamber and electrical control.
  25. cant really recommend one but i can tell u not to buy a normal snap on one. they are cheap feeling and look like ones u can buy from the dollar store (they are about $18) looks like the higher model one that beer baron recommends seems a lot better.
