  1. look at the group buy section on this forum, wrxhoon sells dry cell (really gel cell) batteries that are less than half the price of the equivalent optima etc. many people including me have been using these batteries for some time now with no problems
  2. spotted one white gts-t with 400r kit outside love machine in kings cross tonight, then another white gts-t series one with p plates on elizabeth street surry hills outside a brothel. for privacy reasons i wont post the plates, jeez u skyline owners are horny bastards! this is also not the first time ive seen a skyline outside that brothel! both were at about 1245am.
  3. No offence, but that is far from the truth. It doesnt really matter what brand it is as long as it works, its more in the install. so if you go out and by a $600 alarm and get it installed for 150 bucks well then all your money is down the drain doesnt matter how good your alarm is. I have a big $$ 3 point etc etc alarm in my car (came with it) and even with my limited knowledge i could disarm it in no time.
  4. nope just have a look on the michelin web site if u want more details. they are expensive but pilot sports are even more expensive and yes sports would have more grip for sure plus other sporty qualities.
  5. i feel sorry for you but my personal opinion is that as the buyer you must be aware and responsible to check the car, when selling a car owners will never tell you the 100% whole story about the car, even for minor things (unfortunately in your case, major) this is why everyone usually gets the car checked out by an expert if you cant check it yourself, and revs check etc. abo bob, from what you are saying there must be different circumstances in relation to money owing on the car, because as far as i understand it if you (unknowingly) buy a car with money owning on it its your problem?
  6. michelin have a pilot range which include sport, preceda and primacy. primacy are the bottom of tha pilot range, suited to comfort rather than sport.
  7. i am pretty sure the fuel pump relay is one of the two large blue cased ones which are behind the passenger kick panel, next to the ecu, pretty easy to get to.
  8. i sent u a pm about the swaybars you didnt reply, did u get it?
  9. at around 230pm today (sunday) i spotted what looked like a pearl white Autech 260rs Stagea with r34gtr rims (or could have been a stock normal stagea ) and an black r34gtt both coming back towards sydney through the national park. then on moore park road i saw a purple r33 gts-t with gtr bits, big rims, loud exhaust, bodyform sticker and nasty clutch by the look of it at about 530pm coming towards the city.
  10. if there are chunks missing from the edges they are touching the guards and the edge of the guards are taking chunks out otherwise if it is elsewhere it is most probably the bad road u went on, i have been off road a bit and the sharp stones do often take chunks out of the tyre especially if they are a soft compound.
  11. no, the front of a skyline is double wishbone whereas the s13 uses struts. buy them from anywhere(maybe online) and just and get them shipped to you if they are hard to get.
  12. it may be the cat. try shaking the cat around and might hear lose bits which would cause a rattle.
  13. my only input is(and i know i am generalising buts its true for me) that in recent months i can say that the only standout group of wankers on the road drive ford territorys!!! i think the whole sports 4wd thing has gotten to their heads and they have something to prove! so i guess u will be one of them soon
  14. sounds like u have shat yourself enough, my advice would be dont worry about what you cant change, so live with it and just take it as it comes, or it will drive you and probably others around you crazy.... as for the future u can change that so just dont drive while disqualified again...
  15. if u read the product sheet with specifications for the tyre it tells u the actual width, i know the toyo australia website has a spec sheet on there with all the actual widths if you need to know them. i assume other companies have them on their websites too.
  16. No worries i should have taken more but then again by the time i uploaded more to the forum i would have gone mad
  17. i reckon! anyway i have uploaded small versions of the pics i took from my phone today they are in my gallery http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...500&ppuser=2685 edit: damn the forum gallery is slow and retarded i wish it would work properly.. but all i had are there now at least.
