  1. ok the two guys (ryno and fat32) who needed the temp sensor will get the fitting in their cats, i said dont bother for the rest of you since you said it was ok without. I went down to magic today with d00dz to see what the issue was and see his cat get fitted. His original cat was still intact around the sensor area so magic could see how to make the fitting for the temp sensor. I saw a finished bolt on cat and they look good, and fitted perfectly to d00dz's(victor) car so they should fit easy The second order has been put in so everyone's cats have been ordered, and will be made up and sent early next week.
  2. Thanks a lot i appreciate you telling me, and all others have have said so to and i appreciate that
  3. Ok no worries i think only 2 people wanted the temp sensor or mentioned it, ryno and fat32, so i think i will just get the rest sent out without it and i will organise something for those two guys B)
  4. Hey, i have been updating the list of who is in and who has paid etc in the first post, if you have a look i confirmed your payment a while ago, i will put in the second round of orders probably tomorrow, all the guys who wanted just the cat(not bolt on) will get it straight away, the only people who may have to wait are the ones who want bolt on AND to keep their temp sensor
  5. lol fair enough!
  6. ok guys have spoken to magic and i will explain the problem for the bolt on cats. The hole that you screw the temp sensor into is not a problem, it is just a normla threaded hole. The problem is that inside the hole there is a fitting that holds the sensor. This is the problem, Magic say that without it, the sensor itself will move around in the cat and it will not work properly. I am not sure if other aftermarket cats come with the fitting, or just a hole in the cat, they will be looking at d00ds car tomorrow, and i might have a look at mine a a bit later to see if my compliance cat has the fitting to hold the sensor straight. They are waiting to hear from a supplier of theirs if they can get these fittings, if they cannot, the only was to have the sensor fitted properly is to send out your old fitting. The compliance cat they were sent already had the whole lot removed (im assuming it was removed to be welded into another cat)
  7. PM sent.
  8. Ok guys, there is a problem with the temp sensor bung for the bolt on cats. Ill quote magic: I personally do not care about the temp sensor, but i know that one or two of you were very keen on keeping the sensor fitted, i am not sure what to do, i need to get back to them to tell them what to do. Who really wants the sensor bung, even if it involves a bit of stuffing around?
  9. Magic got the compliance cat today(thanks to SydneyKid), and will make all the bolt on cats for the first order tomorrow and send them out, so those people can expect their bolt on cats early next week i guess!
  10. not me, but i will be there on this saturday, with a friend.
  11. Just thought i would post up information about a special that Murcotts driving school is having, which im sure would be useful for a lot of you who have not been to this sort of training before. http://www.murcott.com.au/ Their first level course is normally $260, it is only $99 for a number of dates in December, thats a BIG discount so if you have not had any training this is the time to do it because its so cheap!!
  12. Awesome, no problem, definetly post up about the difference it makes
  13. Yep thats fine i am making a second order for those who could not pay as fast as the first lot. I will pm u the payment details now
  14. Ok no problem, thanks for telling us the situation
  15. Update: I have ordered the cats for the ten people (including me) who have paid already, as per the list in the first post. They are still waiting to get the compliance cat from SydneyKid, so when that arrives they will make and send the bolt on cats, but they will send out the normal cats (non bolt on) straight away.l I will send off a second order with the remaining people as soon as they all pay.
  16. r33 gtrs do 120km/h at the redline in second, what do 32gtrs get up to? I thought they would have been the same...
  17. u can get nismo heavy duty clutch brackets they are around 150 bucks if you wont want to reweld your own one. mine has been squeeky and notchy for the last year, has not broken yet.
  18. it shouldnt make a difference unless u got a bad batch of petrol.
  19. Thats how they are meant to work arent they?
  20. Its probably in your head people usually change to 0.8 because or misfiring. Otherwise there is no good reason to change to 0.8. It will make no difference to the tune.
  21. you have to put the pocket in at the same time as you put the cd player in, because you have to pull everything apart again if you want to put a pocket in later (like me!)
  22. hey ben, before u ask AGAIN  i have had a look at a few different pockets and all nissan ones i have seen seem to bolt on in the same places. best bet would be go to a wrecker a get one from a recent as possible pulsar.
  23. Since when was anything electrical made in japan BAD?? I would much rather a japanese made anything than one made in the USA. Are you sure he didnt mean china?
  24. Paul, the nylon wheel is in the intake side, the exhaust side is ceramic just like all the other 33/34 turbos, which is the wheel u have to worry about.
  25. Fair enough, i know your pain it has happened to me haeaps with previous cars, never with the skyline because i simply avoid parking it in carparks or near other cars because of the stuff that has happened before annoying but at least there is less chance the car will get keyed or scraped by another car.
