  1. they only work one way around top hole is pressure in bottom one goes to actuator.
  2. hey, i would not say that is a fair indication. u need someone who knows what to look for to see the car in person. i have seen many gts-ts in the past 2 years, and at least 8 out of 10 have had a full respray or had lots of the car painted. its not really a worry its just up to u when it comes to how good the paintjob is. u wont find one with original paint so in case u were thinking that most have original paint, they dont. so basically dont worry. but dont buy without seeing in person, it could have all sorts of things wrong with it. also the skyline panel may light up at night (factory rare option) so ask the seller if it does. if it does not it is either broken, or it has been replaced with a series one part.
  3. stock turbo/ecu with basic mods it really depends. on the freeway between 9-11l/100km on the open road with corners and hills about 13-14l/100km in the city taking it easy around 15l/100km in the city hooning about 20l/100km so depends on driving really. i hate it how people refer to how many kms per tank, because who knows what someone else means when they say a tank? do they mean 50L (when the light flashes) or do they mean a tank as in 65L i always fill and reset odo then fill again and work out l/100km. so assuming we refer to a tank as 50L i get anywhere between 250-500km per tank.
  4. i know of multiple cars that have popped after a crUd tune, usually too lean and too much boost, post up a dyno sheet with your AFRs.. u cant post negative feedback on here naming names so the thread will be edited or deleted u might as well edit it yourself now.. and expect a million people to start flaming u too, since there are many who will not believe that for the 1200 they paid for a tune it could be less than perfect
  5. lol...............
  6. hey mate, 6kg per 17" cast wheel is VERY light if a wheel is cast generally speaking the heavier the stronger. so bottom line those rims being cast and light would not be strong, and will probably buckle easily a typical cast 5 spoke design wheel 17x7 weighs about 8.5kg a typical forged 17x7 weighs about 6.5kg. so i find it VERY hard to believe that the wheels u are looking at are in fact 6kg and if they are i would stay away tell them to put it on a scale and i bet u they weigh more anyway. and for the record, SSR rims are strong rims and a good compromise between the two processes read the website or google it. i have attached a pdf with lots of wheel weights for your info. (the values look correct to me) wheel_weight_alpha.pdf
  7. since i posted last i fitted an apexi pod with cold air partition, and report back that it made very little difference when compared to a stock airbox without a snorkel. actually, if no one told me that it had changed, i doubt i would have felt a diff at all so NO difference. main difference is in the sound, it is extremely annoying on the freeway and i want to get rid of it on long trips
  8. hey dont worry about it, most skylines have their chassis rails bent in somewhere badly, this is because they have been picked up with a forklift at some stage..
  9. it depends on the clamping pressure too, your one might be fine just wait and see... with most puks and buttons they are not meant to be slipped much at all, so if you slip it they overheat quickly and will slip easily. but once cooled down they will be fine again.. so yeah if u dont slip them they should be fine.
  10. i have a set of bendix ultimates spare, they are brand new in the box sealed u can buy them off me if u want
  11. often with small cars its not really as bad as it seems, because they are not worth much anyway, often insurance companies will write them off as not worth fixing even with damage that is not major, where as people will still prefer to keep it and get it fixed themselves rather than look for another car.. in terms of a more expensive or sports car i would personally stay away because it just doesnt seem right
  12. lol dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u better watch out, when ur not looking your gt30 may go missing, replaced with a stock turbo
  13. if it is on the register that means it will be fine for all official stuff ie rego. when it is a repairable write off after it is repaired it goes through a detailed inspection to make sure it has been repaired good. so u should have a good look yourself at the body if u know what to look for, and if you are satisfied there is no real bad negatives.
  14. u better come pick me up real soon after its on the road !!!!!
  15. NO budget it would have to be among: 1.porsche carrera gt 2.maserati mc12 2.pagani zonda 3.tvr speed 12 (not sure about rego for that though, may be hard) i think a mosler should have a place in there, but the looks just dont do it for me. budget bmw 330ci, too many others depending on price..
  16. hey, i have often tried the system when is has returned that message, and my license has been valid. in fact at one point the system said i had 6 demerit points when i actually had zero, i called up and they confirmed this was a mistake and fixed it up. so i would not trust the online system when reffering to demerit points.
  17. the airflow meter you said to me worked 100% fine when selling, which u said u upgraded thinking you would get more power with a z32? lucky i did not buy it off you. cant trust many people nowdays can you!
  18. hey i parking wand is a pole with a light on the top of it that pops vertically out of the corner of your bumper bar like an antenna, so when u park u can see how close the corner of the car is to the next car...
  19. i think it is for the parking wand if u still have it on your car...
  20. its because it is in the nsw members area so if u are not a member u cant see it. i am not a member and cant see it, but am keen to come too, so maybe if a member could pm the details to us or something...
  21. i know the stitching on the MSPEC r34gtr is gold, but on the other r34gtrs it is red, not 100% but quite sure i saw normal ones are red stitched.
  22. hehe stupid lancers! other night i was tailgated by a stock brand new lancer for a good 5 minutes, before i gave in and used the brakes he shat himself and backed off, soon after he overtook going hard , only to be nearly taken out by a taxi pulling out, then having to stop at the next lights, which i pulled up to 10 seconds after him
  23. get some good tyres if you like grip and are not good with the wet weather, it will make a huge difference.
  24. i can understand if u want a black one, they are not common at all, i have only seen a couple around.. just got check out that red car and see how that goes before getting worried!
