no, the only problem you may find is that your spark plugs are fouled due to the bad misfiring, although i drove around with the misfiring for maybe 200kms (reasonably softly most of the time) and the plugs were still ok afterwards. so check plugs when u change the coils, other than that nothing really bad to worry about it wont blow up

apexir33 is spot on, as far as i have found the difference is due to the speedo sender. and it will read about half or double (depending on which mismatch it is)

i got pulled over for a good 15-20mins last friday night about 1130pm in a residential area.. cop did a u turn followed me a bit then pulled me over. they checked my license and if the car was stolen, there was 4 cops and they went all around the car, engine bay and interior didnt find anything (i dont have the typical pod and bov and i have a very quiet exhaust, but i DO have lots of other, hidden stuff ) only thing they said was rear tyres are nearly bald, but did not defect me for it, 3 of the cops seemed nice but one had the 'i am better than you and i will try and get you for anything' attitude. i was just polite and tried to make some conversation with them all and things went ok, the cop with an attitude was not friendly, but we was not outright rude either, once he saw i wasnt being a dickhead. only thing i didnt like was he reached into the car and took my wallet and pulled out another form if id (i think my uni or credit card) and asked the other officer to confirm if the same names were on both without asking me.

i agree they are the worst tyre i have ever driven on if any people here think a ziex 326 is bad, i challenge you to try driving with kelly chargers, they redefine 'no grip' 326's are like semi slicks when compared to chargers, they ARE that bad. wet and dry rating -100/10

i know for a fact a speedo from an automatic r33 will read very low when used in the dash of a manual r33. i believe this is due to a difference in the speedo sender in manuals/autos. so if you install a speedo that is meant for a manual i am quite sure it will read very high.

if i was you i would just go buy another stock unmodified ecu they go for cheap it would probably cost you less than 150 bucks.

any chance of pics? i was going to make one for my pod when it arrives from japan, but if i become very lazy i might just buy one off you does it provide a good seal? how are the bends in the aluminum and how are pieces joined together? pics would probably explain all these questions anyway.

usually tick tick noise means flat battery try changing it, doesnt matter that u charged it it might be stuffed.

compression testing will show if there is something wrong with the engine, like damage or excessive wear, if a compression test comes out bad its best to do a leakdown test which will show exactly where the problem is. any car you buy should have a compression test done for peace of mind. especially if its a turbo or hi performance car.

yeah windscreen and rear window seals are often shit probably best to take it to your import shop for inspection before u buy it rather than finding out any bad news (if there is any) after u get it. all r33 gtsts have LSDs and the same brakes for sure, i have inspected about a million of them for friends buying and have had 2 myself

from a dealer yes that is cheap, althouugh you are mistaken about a few things, all 33 gtsts have the same brakes and LSD not just mspec. just make sure its in good nick body and mechanically get a compression test done get someone that knows skylines to check it out it might be a rough car and u might not see it unless u know what to look for.

yeah main thing is be very careful in the rain you can get caught out easy.

shouldnt be a problem, getting used to the clutch is dependant on the clutch whatever car you buy has. ie the last car i had had an easy clutch got used to it in no time, whereas in the car i drive now the clutch is not easy to use, so took a lot more getting used to... ie general driving, dont worry about it, take it to a skidpan day as soon as you can and you will get used to it quick but on the road no problem as long as you take it easy and realise there are others sharing the road and know your limits.

hey mark, i dont think it will fit as the q45 from memory is 10mm bigger, but you work in the building next to mine dont you (centennial plaza) if u do give me a buzz on 0402465128 or pm me and ill bring the filter with me and u can see for yourself. its cheap for just the filter anyway an adaptor shouldnt be much if it doesnt fit.
