when your car starts misfiring if you gap the plugs to say 0.8 and it still misfires then they are definetly stuffed. the generally get worse at higher boost.

ok i had a read, so does the steering feel as heavy as when you are travelling above 80? and can you change the castor enough with standard castor adjustment?

Means your trying hard enough btw a bit off topic but i wanted to ask you, after u fitted the hicas lock bar, was there a difference in the weight of steering at any speed?? i ask this because im quite sure the steering weight varies depending on speed, and figure it might get stuffed up by locking the hicas..

i find it stays red for at least around 30 seconds and glows for a minute or so.. and yes i am usually quick, and when i have seen it i have been on a road in the middle of nowhere so no cars and is safe stop anywhere whenever

i was pretty sure deep red was 650-700 orange was 850-1000 and white was 1300

i personally dont know since i have never had it on the car... but from experience i would say that it would be a louder pod as usually the cotton are quietest, then foam, then metal.. just buy it and find out

i only ordered a pod because the snorkel wont go on my airbox anymore due to the fmic piping, so with the pod i can make cai setup

thats what i was wondering, doesnt it get messy?? also dont use an oiled pod such as k and n to reduce risk of covering the AFM with oil. probably best to use a dry one such as an apexi. if u have a dry one on there that looks like it filters ok just leave it or partition it.

the best spacers are the ones which bolt onto your hubs, with new studs for the wheel to be bolted onto however if u only need a little bit of room just use 2-3mm spacers not good to have bigger than that and yes they are illegal.

ive always wondered about this in relation to putting a pod in direct airflow, thanks for clearing it up. i have a 33, and since i have a fmic the piping gets in the way of the standard snorkel, so at the moment i just have the std paper element in the stock box without the snorkel this means very high intake temps, and im sure it is leading to obviously power loss but also my afm seems to read very high and the car runs very rich when it heats up. so i have ordered a pod, and im either going to build a box around it with some piping coming to inside the box from underneath or as someone has mentioned, get piping made up and place it behind the front bar, not sure about how dirty/wet it will get though and if it will make a worthwhile difference when compared to the other (box) option. what do u think?

not all the cars have a-lsd unless i have seen fake ones! the things i know they have for sure extra are the badges on the rear pillars, and the front seats have a tag on them saying 40th anniversary.. all 98 models i have seen. and yes all series 2 have dual airbags so thats not extra.

the 40th anniversary ed r33 gtst came with the normal front bar, not like the one in the picture, so there is no such thing.. the one in the picture looks like something derived from a gtr bar.
