  1. previous owner gave it to me with car (car is using stock airbox) and i dont want to use it.
  2. I have a rush pod filter for sale, come with original box(still with $250 price tag on it!), only used for a very short period.. prefer sydney buyer for pick up, but will post anywhere in australia. filter comes with R33 adaptor. NOW $50
  3. how old is it? and why buy another gauge? also does it read in psi or bar? up to what level?
  4. u hoon!! anyways james is not coming, he forgot that he had something else organised for sat night!! ill am most probably still in!
  5. hey mate, i noticed doughboy has a pair for sale for 650 in the for sale section brand new... . so have a look there.
  6. i got mine while a forum trader (bigsully) was selling them for $635 delivered, and he had them in stock in australia.. lucky my coils died just around when he had them for sale..
  7. take it to court for sure if what the cop did was right then you should be able to spend your money getting your car engineered which is obviously not the case. dont pay it!
  8. i recently bought some whiteline stuff from UAS fitted myself and got wheel alignment as heasmans if u want top quality install and wheel alignment(more important than install which is mostly easy) go to heasmans its on princess hwy before tempe tyres, they are steering/suspension specialists, and also happen to be bilstein suppliers, which is what whiteline use for their sports kit for r33s.
  9. looks good, i always liked the look of those rims
  10. it may not have been installed properly, there is a particular way of tensioning it when installed... get it checked out i guess
  11. u should go straight away and be gentle only thing to wait for is for oil presure to come up (maybe 15 seconds thats it) dont sit there and idle it to warm up like a lot of people do, the car will be slow to warm up and idling for long periods will glaze the bores.
  12. my previous car was run in with mobil 1(previous owner), it consumed approx 2L/10,000kms just use mineral/run in oil to be safe, it wont do any harm and cheap to change frequently anyway.
  13. o not use synthetic or even semi synth to run in your motor, or the rings wont bed in and it will use a huge amount of oil use mineral oil to start with and change frequently, then move up to semi synth and after a few thousand kms use fully synthetic. load up the engine but not for long periods and dont use high revs, dont drive it softly or the rings wont bed in. gradually load it up for longer periods and higher rpms as you cover more kms.
  14. hey, i considered this, but decided against it, i wanted a very good setup, and dont have the knowledge, and dont really trust suspension places to make up a set of springs to suit the shocks that would work as well as the whiteline setup so basically i wanted a minimum of stuffing around, also my alloy tops were very noisy, so i needed to get rid of them anyway, they annoyed me! i sold my coilovers for around $500 so in the end it only cost about 800 (1300 all up) for springs, shocks, strut tops(from a forum member), bump stops, and new dust covers i installed myself otherwise that would have been maybe an extra 250 or so.
  15. thanks for that, i guess the quality control on making the seats is not so good.. i tried the 'hammer' method to start with but gave up with fears of smashing the seat into small alloy pieces so then decided on dremel. so just to get this clear : the standard circlip position along with the whiteline low springs provide a 25mm drop already, however you can make this even lower by lowering the circlip? btw. thanks for pointing me to heasmans for the machining(if i ever bother!), they are the only suspension/alignment place i go to and trust anyway, they always do a good job, unlike tyre shops!
  16. 'we are from LIVO!!' once again is all i have to say
  17. if u went that easy on in to start with (less than 3000rpm for 1000kms) then it wouldnt have run in properly anyway u have to load it up more and more as you cover more ks, with higher and higher rpms.. driving it like a grandma for 1000kms is not going to do any good in terms of running in.
  18. Hey sk, i recently installed whiteline springs (25mm low) and bilsteins onto my r33 i understand that any lower will affect handling badly, especially since i dont have the camber kits fitted, but anyway, i was wondering where you get the extra grooves machined in to lower the circlip? also the aluminium spring seat on the rears were too small they wouldn fit over the shocks so we had to use the dremel to grind some off the inside, have u had this happen before? the bilsteins were direct from the supplier, not from whiteline, im not sure if whiteline machine in a lower groove for the circlip than the standard one i am using..??
  19. a 300zx has two turbos, one will be to small for your skyline, also i am pretty sure they use a different dump pipe stud pattern
  20. lol lets go for a nasho run, the go to KKs in livo bro... (jks) James loves nasho runs too, we have been on a few together in the last few months, i will tell him and as long as he is in sydney that weekend (cant be sure) it wont take much convincing for him to come...
  21. the noise is probably just the engine starting to chug because u are labouring it too much, 2nd gear 1200rpm is not too bad, but 3rd and 4th!!!! too low!! you need more revs than that, just use a lower gear. i find anything below about 1600 is too low any gear apart from 1st and maybe second, there is not enough torque that low
  22. i reckon the pricks at ACA paid the lebbos to act like that in the part where they are at the rocks that was over the top, as ASIF(no pun intended lol) the cops would stay that cool, only on camera. also no offence to anyone, but is it only me that laughed when the fulsik chicks go 'yeah we came from LIVO' LOL!!!!!! comeon!!!!?? anyone!??
  23. did i hear NASHO RUN!??? im probably in, i like nasho runs.
