  1. If the fuel pump/injectors are the same as on a r33gtr then without them you still should be able to run 20psi with a safe tune. if the r32gtr afms are the same as r33afms then you will not need to upgrade these either, although its not unlikely that they might need replacing at some stage anyway, and you might as well put better ones in.. also why use spitfire coils? are your current ones not working properly? even if you upgraded the injectors, 700cc is not necessary, 550 would be fine if you are sticking to n1s or similar (2530) if you run 20psi with r33 n1s your car should have 300-320rwkw (400-430rwhp) should be enough to run mid 11s.
  2. the std diff is a normal lsd where the vspec is an active lsd as you see on some gts-ts.. it basically has a faster response and is supposed to better proportion torque between the rear wheels. the diff itself would probably fit right in, although it has a hydraulic fluid feed (i think from the power steering system) going to it, which is not there with the normal diff, it also has its own computer controlling it. probably too much trouble fitting everything in and making sure it works properly.
  3. you can get the clip on ones for about $6 and often twin packs for the same price if they are on sale (like recenetly at supercheap) but yeah about $6-8 dollars. i dont use them because my suspension is so stiff its risky clipping anything anywhere. with the leaf things u are not meant to take them right out of the pack, you are meant to just open the plastic, so the smell comes slowly and lasts... however i always just rip it out and it usually lasts me two weeks. and at $1.80 each (or similar for the magic tree) its not too bad.. most of the liquid clip one ones usually smell like bathroom(public) cleaner to me.
  4. i know wrxhoons car as well and 1.2 bar would be the best or else very close to best (stock injectors were close to the limit) also the best time was 11.7@121mph with stock wheels. i am under the impression that there are a number of n1 housings which means some will be laggier than others. all n1s have steel wheels, although only r34 have ball bearings.
  5. magic tree is good, but i prefer the leaves... they are only $1.80... i reckon $12 is too much unless it lasts a long time.
  6. im enjoying this info, dont stop now..!
  7. i was just wondering, and i hear a lot of things about how police work from people that is sometimes hard to believe, (not reffering to you but u know what i mean..) so i was just wondering where u know all this stuff from you sound pretty certain about it all...
  8. hey mona, i am now not sure if i will come or not... definetly wont come it its crappy weather, so i think i need to be moved to the maybe list.
  9. 1993 swift gti with konis lowered springs, mags, full exhaust, pod, lightened flywheel, hd gbox etc... came with most of the mods.
  10. hey tracka, just wondering where u get all this info from..?
  11. the weather is crap its too humid.
  12. a bit off topic but anyway here is my question: the rev limit it set at 6900 as i can see on my pfc commader... yet ive tested it a few times and it has shown peak revs hit 7150 one time... but usually in lower gears it sometimes hits 7000 (i am getting these peak readings off the commander not the tacho btw..) is that normal? ie. is the rev limit sort of soft?
  13. yeah im sure there is only one type (single slanted slap) of grille for the series 2 gtst, although the mesh option grille from a series one does fit on a series two
  14. hey, i dont think it is aftermarket, i have seen lots of r33s (series one mostly but have also seen series twos with them on) with that exact grille on them, so maybe it was a factory option...
  15. im worse 14.6 @97.75mph (2.4 60') with fmic full exh adj cam gear 10psi power fc 17's
  16. Ah ok fair enough, it sounded like the wheel had structural damage when i heard 'weld' !
  17. hey, most of the time if the cooler is supported from the top you dont have to remove the front bar, you can easily access the bolt and slip the cooler out the bottom of the bar (usually the bars are trimmed so easy to slip it out)
  18. hey prank, what tyres are on them? is there any damage to the rims?
  19. your car and rims should be in exactly the same condition they were in before the accident, so dont settle, make them pay 1600 so you can buy a new set. duncan: the zed has the original wheels right? they are forged so by getting them welded up they will be much weaker (i wouldnt drive on one..) than they originally were, if i were you i would have gotten a replacement rim... it may look the same but it will lose lots of strength.
  20. no, burnouts at night are annoying when u are trying to sleep.. a while back there was a tt supra living out the back of my house that used to start up, (loud already) and then with no question would launch down the lane with wheelspin all through first and second (auto too) not bad in the day, but annoying at 2am.
  21. once again bs statistics... as usual!
  22. ill keep a lookout, im in inner sydney too.. so to hear about it.
  23. they are forged which is why they are light. (basically) where as r33 rims are cast (heavier generally)
  24. adrian, what tyres and wheels were u using when you ran the 12 with that power? did u use nitrous? gizmo73, sounds right to me and congrats u did a lot better than me on my first go!
