  1. No where is safe... 2 weeks ago my car was keyed parked on the street at bondi, right outside her driveway. Not even an alarm will stop stupid people from doing stuff like this...
  2. Sorry, yes it is an r33 box. I have offers PMd to me, if they fall through then its still for sale, but for now sold.
  3. As stated...i have one, with no filter(thrown out). $Offers in sydney.. my number is 0402465128
  4. Maybe the guys on aus300 just dont wanna share, i hear the owner of that system on the forum is not the friendliest guy. Im meeting up with a good mate off the 300 forum today, ill ask him i know he has used conzult system on his 300ztt edit:forgot to add that there are LOTS of similarities between vg30 and rb series engines, in terms of electrics, sensors etc..so id be surprised if it didnt work...
  5. lol *yay* its scary how noisy it can get sometimes.. i normally dont drive the car for at least 3-4 days at a time, and i dont find it noisy, so i must be used to it! but once, after doing some work to the car over 3 weeks, we turned it on and it was SO loud, i was scared it would not go away... a good drive made the noises dissapear within an hour
  6. i would say it is an tappet... this may be more obvious if you have left the car for longer than usual without starting it.
  7. some f*** keyed my rear quarter panel last week, parked outside my gfs place overnight too, i know how you feel man.. theres sum f***ed up ppl around.
  8. all the turbos are replacements of the original, you wouldnt bother unless you have already made other mods to make the most of the stock turbo anyway.
  9. I have a pioneer gmx542 from memory, bridged it provides 150WRMS, powering a JL 12W-0, in a ported enclosure.. its reasonably loud... but it was VERY loud in my old hatch

    Idle

thats the small black plastic thing on the front end of the intake plenum right? with tubes going into and out of it? That was squeeky clean, i had it out a few months back, so i dont think it would be dirty yet.. Does my description match that of the AAC valve ur talkin about?
  11. That is not high kms, 15,000km per year for 10 years, is 150,000kms, which is pretty close to the mark. Average kms for a skyline in japan is around 14-15k, aus is around 20k, so this is not high kms by any measure. I think we are too used to wound back figures
  12. Yeah less mess when u pull it off/on.
  13. jap average is around 15k even though for some reason everyone assumes otherwise. This is why it should be assumed that cars are wound back. If they were such perfect low km examples, they would have been bought by the domestic market, not flogged to overseas customers at the auctions

    Hicas

wouldnt be related, it is common(at least for r33s) for the bushes(cant remember which ones) which are fluid filled to leak and crack with age, and require replacing.
  15. Lately i have been noticing that every so often, say when i am sitting in traffic, the idle will sit at about 1200rpm for maybe a minute, then drop back to normal again. I havnt experienced this before as far as i can remember. Also, in case it might be relavent, the idle issue has been happenning since i have been using the air con on a regular basis, but only happens when the air con is off. its an r33 gts-t..otherwise everything is perfect. Anyone know why this is?
  16. yeah i have tried each way, and it is loudest when facing the rear of the car, which is how it is. I used to have a hatch, so at first i was annoyed at how much softer it was
  17. I have placed a 12mm mdf board flush with the panel you are speaking of removing(in front of battery) on which my amps and wiring are mounted.. i bet it would be heaps louder without it! I didnt even think of that when i installed it
  18. hey, there was a thread on anti lag a while back, and it had links in it to a subaru website where someone had written and posted videos about anti lag on his my01 wrx, said it sounded and worked really well, i think he had a link ecu. I think the post may have been lost when the server went down, search for it through google, and u might find it on the subaru forum. There are people on that wrx forum who have run anti lag for more than 30,000kms without any turbo problems. Also, apparently ihi turbos(fitted to wrx for factory) are in general more reliable when anti lag is used compared to garrett turbos.
  19. Wisecos..50,000kms (yes thats typed correctly) and running fine
  20. i already bought, but never recieved (still trying to persue, but i doubt i will get it) a bov of someone on this forum. So i wouldnt buy another
  21. Not most of the time. an s13/14/15 with the same mods as an r33 will nearly always beat the r33 with ease in a drag off the line, its a much lighter car to start with, so mods have more effect.
  22. wanna swap for a while
  23. i wanna spectate and whore with sidways mambo i am 90% sure i will come to whore
  24. someone on the aus300 forum has a nissan consult unit, every1 uses his one on meets.. just go on a 300zx cruise and scab if you want data
