  1. Yep that's them.
  2. Nice! Regarding the fuel tank lid, efihardware sell a wiring kit that contains bolts with I think Delrin spacers. No fuel smells and can use fat wiring.
  3. Actually no I read that wrong, 6 & 8 on the g sensor plug are shields for the other wires, and looks like they are grounded in the g sensor unit, probably through the case. More important to check the 8v lines, and that the return signals are within spec.
  4. Oh you did say, 96. It only has 4 relays. You shouldn't have a wire in pin 4 of consult plug, and codes 61 and 63 are G sensor related. Do you want me to send you a pic of the wiring diagram? In Japanese, but if you compare to the English R34 supplement pdf you can figure it out. Looks like pins 6 and 8 of the g-sensor also goes to ground, wonder where that ground is attached.
  5. Which year model Stagea is it? Via another SAU member I got a hold of the wiring diagrams and service manual details. Sounds like a pre 98 model..?
  6. No problems. The loop wire connection is used to put the system in a mode to bleed air from the hydraulic line, there is a bleeder on the back of the gearbox. Also one on the bottom of the attesa pump which just gravity feeds. My hydraulic oil was like grease, thick and gross. If you drive with the wire loop disconnected it should register as a fault code too. I think there should be a big earth straight off the ABS actuator id check that first. If that fails, perhaps you could pull the plug with the two thick wites from the ABS actuator, then check diagnostic lights again. If you have the same codes as before then 61 & 63 mean the ABS actuator unit. If new codes, then 61 & 63 are g sensor related.
  7. Ok then. Perhaps start checking your earths are all secure, especially around the abs actuator and g-sensor, you sound like you know what you are doing. So did the lights just come on one day? How did it start? May need to clear the error history once you check a few things too, i know my attesa ecu would hold on to some error codes after some problems were fixed, had to reset to clear them.
  8. Ok, so sounds like the ets ecu is turning the lights on because it's not happy. Where did you get the list of attesa codes from? Is your g-sensor wiring connected properly?
  9. See if you can check that both relays on the ABS unit are clicking on. If same as R33/R34 the ABS light is turned off by the ABS actuator relay turning ON. The relays on the ABS unit are ABS pump and ABS actuator (supply for solenoids). Re: the other relay you can't find, it is probably in the rear of the car somewhere, it is the ATTESA ets actuator relay, in R34 it is in the boot near the driver side tail light next to other relays. ATTESA ets pump relay is the one near driver strut tower.
  10. I thought the ABS pump relays were actually part of the ABS pump assembly itself. Have you checked the plugs that go into that assembly? If it is similar to R34 there will be two thick supply wires, and the trigger to switch the relays is in one of the other plugs. Wiring diagram have a plug pinout?
  11. Wanted R34 GT/GTT stock bonnet. Silver preferred, but let me know what you have. Newcastle area.
  12. Just replaced my pcv, hose and grommet. Old rubber was rock hard, couldn't get the old grommet out without it cracking to bits, half of it fell into the cam cover OOPS! Hopefully it won't do any harm floating around above the baffle...
  13. I second Piggaz guess - he is selling the manifold too, must be going T4 twin scroll!
  14. Was it worth it? Next time around i'd consider an R33 Autech 4dr GTR If you can do a lot of the mechanical work yourself, then probably yes, it mostly bolts in, few custom parts required. If you are getting somebody else to do it then it gets expensive because of how many things need to change. I did a few extra things while i was at it, like change rear hubs to aluminium carrier from GTT, hicas type crossmember with lockout bar and new bushes. Front hubs in R34 GT4 are steel too, so will be changing them to R33 GTR aluminium soon and new wheel bearings. I like it because it looks like an average sedan but has attesa-ets which i've always wanted, and fits my kids in the back. Stagea neo turbo motors are like half the price of an RB26 too.
  15. I've done an AWD neo swap into R34 GT4. Isn't a particularly hard swap, as far as swaps go, in fact I ended up with a GTT ecu loom on the Stagea neo motor, which made parts of the wiring easier. Only thing that needed changing was the ABS to body loom plugs, pins are all scrambled from GTT (abs is in the ecu loom) to GT4. The only wire you need setup from ECU to the 4wd computer (in fact, abs and ets share the same ecu) is a throttle position signal, which a GTT loom will provide anyway, normally it would go to the traction control ecu. Apart from a bit of wiring, the real dramas are suspension and brakes, as the GT4 is a spec lower than GTT. You will want GTR spec sway bars too, gt4 doesn't even have a rear one. I swapped in all GTT brakes and GTR suspension into mine.
  16. Be wary of the diff ratios - i thought Stagea was 4.08 and gtr/gtst was 4.11. You may want to double check.
  17. Is that a Stag motor? I can't see the throttle motor. Tres excite.
  18. If you didn't get this sorted at the workshop let me know and i can help. Your 4wd and a-lsd light should come on with key at ignition, engine not started. If not you may have blown ABS fuse (driver footwell). Once you have lights back you can put the 4wd control unit in diagnosis mode using a paperclip it will flash codes on the abs warning light. R34 supplementary manual describes it all, i went through all this diagnosing a wiring fault in my R34.
  19. R34 GT FOUR models are non turbo. But you can drop a Neo R25 turbo from an AWD stagea into one, that's what I did
  20. You should try to find the R34 service manual PDF. Here are some pages from it : Perhaps you have a passenger airbag fault.
  21. So who has a mechanical lsd in their daily? What type, and how do you rate it?
  22. Some people on this forum might be in to the chair thing
  23. Installing a mech lsd was certainly my first plan, and yes understand it is a lot simpler. But then i read a few posts recently about them being a pain around town, needing to clutch-in around tight corners etc. perhaps i just need to find a loose one.
