  1. So what about putting an RB26 in an ENR34 then? Ie 25GT FOUR, and brakes, suspension etc.
  2. Yes my question was I guess aimed at disco's idea of the adaptor plate. But really - t3 single scroll vs t4 twin scroll, for efr7670 level flow, what difference would you expect. Scotty - would you expect an external gate off the turbine housing to flow better overall than the EFR T3 internal w/g design?
  3. Turbine housing question, EFR7670 - what difference in response and outright power would people expect between T3 housing vs T4 housing, both internally gated. On a stock RB25DET Neo, with stock exhaust manifold, would there be much in it?
  4. Here's the link http://store.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/graphics/garrett/watercooling.pdf
  5. Hey I read a Garrett PDF linked from the forced performance website the other day, about water cooling and heatsoak after shutdown. Mentioned that you should have about 20deg tilt on the turbo, and the water lines need to be smoothly running up and down, to encourage water flow after shutdown through the bearing core. I had no idea this was important. May not be your problem of course. But if oil is not the problem...
  6. Not quite a whole car... I'm removing engine, rear suspension (including crossmember, brakes and diff), front coilovers (s13 stuff). Apart from that there is pretty much a whole car there. Hurry if you're interested in the whole shell! Someone is interested in the Iron mask front end so that might be gone soon. PHIL
  7. Item: DR30 Wrecking Age: 1984 Location: Newcastle Contact: [email protected] Comments: 1984 DR30 Wrecking, many parts available, mostly exterior and interior parts. See here for details of what is available. Thanks, PHIL
  8. This is a picture of my setup, 450x300x76, with all 2.5" alloy piping. This was before i got the pipes welded up. The driver side pipe goes through an extra hole cut in the radiator support, and sneaks under the headlight and around the radiator. I like the fact that the piping is relatively short.
  9. Yeah that's the one, Quaife from the UK make it, they call it an ATB (automatic torque biasing) diff, so similar to torsen. I got it through Palmside http://www.palmside.co.nz/ in NZ, he (Deane) ordered it in and then posted it to me in Newcastle, very easy. I had a diff shop fit it, they had to bugger around a bit with shims setting the backlash, but all went together good. So far I have taken it around Wakefield park, and it seemed great, great traction and very smooth. Going in a hillclimb this weekend so will see how it goes around tight twisty stuff.
  10. Hmm yes I would like to get one of those back plates on my DR30 too, I have a Quaife centre in my R200 now.
  11. I thought the Z32 300ZX-TT diff was the R230... http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...+r230&meta=
  12. Does anybody know a good Nissan dealer (or any other place) that might be able to order in some parts from the DR30 front lower lip? Specifically I am after the metal reinforcements, the metal strip that goes along the top of the lower lip, the brackets that attach the sides to the bottom of the guards, the reinforcement panel for the air dam section, and the brackets that hold up the front (that attach just under the blinkers). Looking at a diagram from fj20.com it looks like i need part numbers : 62610F 62610H 62667 62668 Cheers, PHIL (Newcastle)
  13. My 1984 DR30 RS Turbo 2 door came with a weigh bridge ticket of 1.28 tonnes, methinks it has to lose some weight. The airbag adjustable seats must be pretty heavy too...
  14. Gearbox still available?
