  2. zzz i thought they were going to introduce mandatory resitting for licences for any one over 50, every 10 years in vic?
  3. Hey im looking for a r33 turbo, from a series 2 (only series two because its newer), preferably run at 12 psi max, with little movement (half a mil - 1 mil). Dont need the wastegate actuator off it if yours doesnt have it Will pay $400 Some other offers considered Thx
  4. Umm try turn the economy/power switch to economy and itll shift sooner. Dunno if that helps, wasnt sure if u thought of it hehe
  5. Yeh i had a talk to him and he explained the old maps and showed me where improvements would be made, so once he installs new turbo (and i pull together $550) ill get the remap too
  6. yeh i dropd it to .8 but im running iridiums Could it be packs? im getting from 1.2 on some to 1.9 on others
  7. 1991, r32 GTS-T Walbro POD Turbotech boost controller @ 12psi FMIC On DR Drift's dyno got 135.8 kilowatts. Was really lame, most of the 31's at the place beat me and to make it worse, he said my car was running perfect Need...New...Turbo... New turbo on so Walbro POD Turbotech boost controller @ 14psi FMIC R34 NEO turbo Remap by DR drift 460N.M. Torque, 170rwkw was highest run, dropped down to 167 because @ 170rwkw it had some minor detonation. Pretty happy, hitting full boost at 4200rpm, fangs hard through to peak at 5800rpm, comes onto spool at about 3krpm
  8. Took it to doctor drift friday night (felt a lil weird rocking up to a r31 skyline club do in a 32 but meh) and got it dynoed. Put out 135.8 rwkw and the doctor drift bloke who did the dyno said theres nothing wrong with it or the performance, so im just tripping out i guess hehe. Oh well, i got a quote on a 33turbo install.. Cheap + he rkns 30kw's is pretty easily attainable so allll good
  9. Ahh hold up, 1.7Ohms?? I got readings from 1.2 - 1.9, could the ones on 1.2 ohms be fugged?? (my cars slowa atm)
  10. Hmm, Does it keep building up revs after its past shudder point or does it refuse to go higher? i'd replace the fuel filter first:P $14 gogo
  11. Aren't they like 100 kilo's heavier?
  12. A new fuel pump fixed mine (exactly the same problem), take it to a mechanic, he should be able to do a fuel flow and pressure analysis on you (cost me $40). You will also want to replace the fuel filter. Tell me if you need help on packs, afm checking or any other suggested solutions for this problem, as ive just done it all to mine
  13. ewwww double post and a spelling mistake, does it get much worse *plugs
  14. And while you have your coil packs out regap your pluge to .8mm, worked like a charmmm for me Try search for, "power loss" in forced induction, or look for any of the topics i made about it
  15. He he yeh, just an afterthought, for people arguing against people in high powered cars, pedestrian deaths could be reduced alot by re-reinforcing it
  16. with Justcar VIC, 19, Rating 4, for full comp im 1800, 1100 excess, so you would think a 29 year old would be something like 1100
  17. so he was driving a 34... Maybe if he had been in a nice slow suzuki swift or a lancer they would all have been fine.. But seeing as speed wasnt said to be a factor, perhaps the skyline would have been safer than a ford laser and in fact been the reason the two guys lived not the girl died.. Oh id also like to see a re-enforcement of the "Look listen walk" rules again. Sure whiping off 5km's could turn death into a broken leg but.. looking left then right could have prevented it altogether.. My 2 sense
  18. hmm Managed to get it stuck in !! The back of it is just off the rear window and the front of it is resting in between the two front seats with enough room to shift (but not much else more) Won't be doing any fast accelerating with in in place though thats for sure, gonna have to jam it in with a heap of crap!
  19. Hmm didnt think of that, not to bad an idea, i might have to suffer a lil on leg room though, ill give it a go wen i get home
  20. Yeh, run an ECU diagnostic over it to, to check that all the sensor's are going and check the o2 sensor (for fuel economy/possible running to lean/rich)
  21. Yeh thats some serious bs. I agree on the legal advice, you even got a witness to say she was a bitch. If that fails id be going postal on the police department. Seems to me everytime i get pulled over, the cops just wanna chat about how hard it goes, they check my mods, but i guess there not illegal in vic, and most of them tell me tales of there v8's they had 10 years ago that they wrote off or used to drop bangas in. Evil woman cops!!
  22. ahh ok micky as, ill check the rental price on some out, thx Forgot to mention im on a tight budget, probably cant afford to buy new racks Edit - Some to fit a r32 coupe, for 3 days hire is $50, pretty good.
  23. A turbo off a r33 would be your best bet, Series 2 are better because of a lighter compressor wheel but not much better and are more difficult to find. A r33 turbo (off a gts-t r33) will set u back about $400 for the unit and maybe $300 for installation. It bolts on directly to where the old one was and the only thing that needs changing over is the wastegate actuator from your old rb20 turbo
  24. K so im going away for a few days tomorrow and my snowboard wont fit in my car(r32 Coupe). I need the back seat free for a person and front passenger seat free to. It wont fit in the boot or sideways in the back of the car, the only way i managed to fit it was diagonally from roof to floor in the back, which i cant do coz no one will fit. So is there some cheap roof racks to fit these things? That are readily available? How has any one else fit there board in there car? Its about 160 centimetres.
