  1. Sounds like you blew a fuse buddy, check fuses under the dash and also at the second fuse box which might be in your engine bay or near your battery.
  2. Did you mount the cd player using the pioneer cradle or the factory brackets?? If cradle check to see if its jamming or pushing on the unit itself which causes it to slightly buckle ( only 1mm is enough ) and jam the mechanism.. If with the brackets also make sure its in the dash straight, and check the length of the screws that are going in the side of the stereo ( make sure you use the pioneer supplied screws ). Hope that helps...
  3. Is this a Question or comment?? Pm me if they are available.
  4. Yes they did exist and AUS SPEC 32 was very helpful. Too bad i missed out..
  5. Wow what a girl.. lol lucky boy u have there.. There are heaps of brands out there that will do what you are askin in you budget and you will get different recommendations from everybody.. In Melbourne no one is going to beat Jb's prices and now that they will be carrying Alpine as well no one can beat their range either.. A few more things to look for is additional rca outputs for future system upgrades. One with the lot that will do almost everythin would be a jvc kd-g 825, it has usb port on the front for your usb flash drives, remote control, custom display with broad range of colours, and with the optional ipod apaptor it should be close to your budget. If u need advice on other models or brands feel free to ask me.
  6. Can you please pm me your contact details please? thanks mate
  7. I second that theory, with most remote start immobilisers u might as well leave your keys in the ignition for the theives, I have been asked numerous times to bypass factory immobilisers and iv always refused.
  8. hey dude Im a pro installer from sydney and Wrxhoon is on the right track. The skylines do have a chip in the key that the factory ecu needs to read or the car will not start. The Dealer fitted immobiliser Chris is refering to is only the keyless entry module that gets fitted later on which does not affect the chip in the key. Most cars released after 97/98 came with the chip in the key. There are ways to bypass it but its not recomended from a security point of view.
